I'd like to add that many car fluids are a certain type and CANT be mixed with a different type. So you have to be careful you're topping up with the correct one. But the exception is engine oil, you can technically mix types. Which I had to do when my dad topped up my engine with the wrong viscosity, I was worried Id have to do a whole oil change and take it to the mechanic to fix things etc but the mechanic said it was all good, just top up with the correct type next time. The right viscosity helps the car run at its best, but having the wrong type in temporarily isnt going to make it curdle or react or break anything internally as long as its only temporary. Phew! Man I love my mechanic. He couldve so easily lied to me then to get money off me to "fix" it. A good honest mechanic is worth his weight in gold I'll never go to another one as long as I live here.

The windshield wiper is one of the easiest things to change. Tires aren't complicated(loosen the bolts, jack the car up, remove the bolts, remove the tire, put the spare on, bolt it on, jack the car back down), but it's a lot of effort to where it's easier to just pump air into the tires as a temporary fix unless you had a blowout(I had a used tire disintigrate on my Versa, which is a small car to be having a blowout and luckily it had an actual spare).
when topping up or changing coolant you should use the right mix of coolant and water, if you are unsure on how much or what mix there are plenty of guides just type in the make and model of your car what cc the car is or go to one of the many big auto parts supplier sites and type in your car registration number and select coolant they will show you the right types, and mixes, if you use just water it will not work as well and in cold climate or times of year you rist the water freezing and damaging your engine beyond economical repair so this is one thing to make sure of it is cheap and easy, at a stretch you can get coolant concentrate from many places and they give a rough guide to amounts so with a little maths you can work out the mix and that will do the job. but having learned the hard way many years ago i know first hand just how vital coolant is.

if you change the oil yourself, where are you allowed to dump the oil afterward? can't imagine you can just dump it down the drain.
if in the UK take it to local recycling centre they all have the facilities to dispose or recycle waste oils it is free but not for commercial use only for private people doing there own or a friends car, just ask the staff for waste oil disposal they will be happy to direct you.
Not all people can 'concentrate" with music in the background; is the music entirely necessary? A good video is a video that explains your point or instruction and makes it easy for everyone to follow without distracting music for those with Misophonia and other concentrating issues. Please make it CLEAR and EASY for everyone!
nice to see i am not alone, it can be very distracting so i second that.
lolwut
This is one thing that should be taught in driver's Ed.
Interesting. Now I know more about the ten things every car owner should know about car maintenance.
Thanks very much for the methods
Blady speaker woice?
Great video! Does anyone know the name of the background song?
Awesome 👏 my family will like 👍
I'm glad to know things of this about my car
U forgot headlights & taillights brakes and rotors
Thanks. I can do most of them, except changing tires and windscreen wiper. 😂
9/10 for me

I wanted to know that is there a difference between putting water and coolant do you need both of them
when topping up or changing coolant you should use the right mix of coolant and water, if you are unsure on how much or what mix there are plenty of guides just type in the make and model of your car what cc the car is or go to one of the many big auto parts supplier sites and type in your car registration number and select coolant they will show you the right types, and mixes, if you use just water it will not work as well and in cold climate or times of year you rist the water freezing and damaging your engine beyond economical repair so this is one thing to make sure of it is cheap and easy, at a stretch you can get coolant concentrate from many places and they give a rough guide to amounts so with a little maths you can work out the mix and that will do the job. but having learned the hard way many years ago i know first hand just how vital coolant is.
