Furthermore, to solve the mystery, and if I recall correctly, we recorded it live off the floor and had to overdub the vocals because the cymbal bleed from the drums. That being said, the end of each phrase, "pole, crocodile, and stunk" was the vocal take we used 😏

My favorite band! I'm older and love rock, saw this video and was hooked on Small Town Titans :-)
STT is amazing! Their lead singer is a vocal coach himself. The band never does what you expect and their original music is ah-mazing! For the level of variety, listen to Dragonfly (written by the lead singer for his mom), Halleleujah, Devil's Choir has a gorgeous fugue in the middle, their new CD The Ride is on replay most days. Oh, check out their cover of Sex & Candy (which I didn't particularly love the original, but their version is ... stanky in the best possible way. ;) And Behind The Moon starts with accapella harmony. Crazy good and my absolute favorite band. I love seeing people discover them for the first time - especially those who can speak in an educated way about the myriad techniques used. Enjoy!

Phil (singer is so awesome) the way he sing this versión is like a meta version on how we read a book to our kids, trying to make voices to make the story experience awesome

It's great to see someone else appreciating Small Town Titans' vocal talent. The guy is awesome. Great range and style. Do have a listen to the acoustic version of The Grinch they published. The vocal audio is a little better in the acoustic version video.

My guy. Love your videos. But do more metal/punk/rock. You know what you’re talking about and people in this genre are underserved. “Screaming kills your voice, look at Steven tyler” is what we hear. I’ve watched a few more of your videos, but I’m not a Disney or Broadway fan. Get some Metallica, korn, Green Day, avenged sevenfold, panic at the disco, disturbed. Gimme some reacts and tips to nasal forward American rock sounds lmao
Hey Dana, thanks for the comment! I’m definitely gonna lean into more metal in the future, I think it’s easily one of the hardest vocal styles out there, and I love hearing all the wee intricacies from one singer to the next.
