@@TheAdventuresofTNT I have to admit, and this is hard for me to admit but I kind a like the Jim Carrey version better. Although both of them are good in the original will always have a place in my heart. I actually like how they humanize the who is a little bit and took you into his home and gave him a backstory. I found that to be very interesting. And whether or not you like the movie maybe you can at least admit that the make up was spot on :-) :-)
Fun fact: The Grinch guy with the deep voice had an unusual name. His name was Thurl Ravenscroft. He was also the original voice of Tony the Tiger. He died in 2005 at age 91.
Love STT! It's fun to watch people discover them for the first time. They do have some amazing covers (Halleleujah, Sex & Candy - both entirely unexpected), but their original music is definitely the best! They do everything from high energy hard rock (try The Man, Devil's Choir, 'Me, Myself & Monster' to songs written for parents that passed away ... Dragonfly, written by the lead singer and Pops written by the guitarist. Empowerment for women (Junkie For You), just ... something for everyone. They don't live in a box. Go enjoy!
Best version ever! This group can pull you into a rabbit hole like you've never experienced. Most of their videos have a background to them under the video. They do many covers that are awesome as well as their own originals that far too few ever hear. Phil is also a vocal coach/instructor. He wrote his song "Dragonfly" after his mother lost a long battle with cancer. He explains it in the video l8nk.
Really enjoyed your reaction. For a little more Small Town Titans, you might want to give a listen to their covers of Fat Bottom Girls and Folsom Prison Blues.
If you liked the bass voice, check out Elvira from Oak Ridge Boys ft, Homefree, there's one particular note that would bottom out a set of 12' subs... Disclaimer, its an ol country song, but this is a recent recording, and nobody loses their wife, truck or dog...
I know it's late but the best Christmas songs from rock bands for me are: Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody Wizard - I Wish it Could be Christmas Everyday Corey Taylor - X-M@s Beatallica - Hella Day For Holiday
Hey if you want another STT song try their cover of Fat Bottom Girls by Queen. For a great bass voice try Voice Play's Oogie Boogie Song from the nightmare before christmas.
Not a huge fan of covers as a general rule, but Small Town Titans made me eat those words. Spoonman by Sound Garden and Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen both are fantastic! My favorite original work from them is "Behind The Moon" some of their songs I enjoy more than others but have YET to hear a bad tune from them, cover or original they are hard to beat.
Thank you both so much! 🙏 Merry Christmas to you and your family! This was really fun to watch 😄 ~ Phil (The Singer)
Awwwww..... Shit!!!!!
You guys are AMAZING!!!
Check out Hunger Strike, they really do it justice
Wow that’s really awsome to see the band actually reply to this as well

And thank you for liking the name too! Came up with it in middle school many moons ago 🤣 ~ Phil

Thurl was a classic.
Best version of this song I've ever heard. Great reaction Y'all. Respect.
My favorite song they do, that shows his vocal range, and some harmonies is Hallelujah ....
Totally agree that it's incredible!
Those boys know what they're doing, for sure! And that Phil, he swallowed a bar of gold and it lodged! Only way to explain it!
I've played it every year around Christmas since they released it a few years ago . Their other music is just as good .
this band actually just released an acoustic version of this song....it's different this this one enough to watch it again...lol
March and i still rock to this!!

This is far better than the original. It's almost an Avenged Sevenfold cover. The singer's high notes sound very similar to M Shadows
any song that generate that kinda FUNK FACE is DA BOMB!!!!
HO. LEE. SHIT. That singer is AWESOME.
I saw this band live, they are great. Check out their original music, and their cover of Folsom Prison Blues
Joseph Howard, what???
@Joseph Howard oh, I thought you meant STT played the original which was really confusing
very cool twist on a twisted classic
This song is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
All of STT's music is awesome. For another great cover check out their version of Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls".
Great reaction! I discovered this video a couple weeks ago and it is just amazing!!
It really is!
This is my favorite version
Badass. Check out Rufflin Feathers.
