As a 47 y/o woman I fully understand what you’re going thru. Life can be hard in several ways at the exact same time. One thing I’ve learned is all we can do is make our best decisions one at a time and not worry about things that may never come to pass. It’s such a waste of energy and time from our kids. Just do your best and take it day by day. Don’t let it consume you. We all think the world of you girl and if you need time off, take it! We’ve all been there!
Moving is hard. It's like watching your life's recap in slow-mo while doing power lifting and planing a wedding. Wishing you, the kitties, and the kiddies, a quick and easy re-acclimatization ❤
I believe the Cross is made of wicker. A fun inside info is that this cross & the huge stag statue last season were made by Sam Heughan's'( Jamie) uncle.
"This is going to be the only happy episode." You are definitely not wrong. LOL. Everyone loves the fiery cross scene. Did you catch that the soundtrack is a theme we haven't heard since season 2, at the height of the Jacobite rebellion? It's such a beautiful track. I have it pop up on my shuffle sometimes. And if you look at other reactions of this episode on youtube, 11:55 everyone has the same reaction to the lovestruck look on Lord John's face. It's a quick shot, and we don't see him at any time in the rest of the scene. Lord John often commands the room of pretty much any scene he is in, so I love that the show made a point to show that he's present, but he's just silently watching in awe as Jamie takes command.😍 (He was not in this scene in the book. In fact, he wasn't in book 5 at all. Just letters.) By the way, this is Marsali and Fergus' THIRD pregnancy. The second child was born in between seasons/books. Her name is Joan, after Marsali's sister. Timing-wise, it would mean that Marsali was at least a couple months pregnant when we last saw her when she was driving the get-away carriage when they busted Murtagh out of jail. I don't know if I've mentioned before that in the books/seasons after they've arrived in America, seasons 4-7, it can be kind of hard to keep track of how time goes by because it may appear that an episode only takes place across a few hours or days, but it actually takes place across several months, and there are several-month time jumps between episodes. The easiest way to keep track of it is the pregnancies. We were following Bree's pregnancy pretty closely last season. Marsali's pregnancies are generally more in the background, but the number of children she has, along with how old they are, is the best indication of time passing because it's not often we get a year actually posted in a subtitle on screen. I think the last one we saw was 1770 when they arrived at Shadow Lake to rescue Roger. Since that was many many months ago, we're probably in 1771 now.
Yes, moving is stressful!... not just the moving, but figuring out your new space, saying goodbye to a part of your life, the unknown of the next chapter of life. Hope you are settling in now!
Love to see you each time you release a reaction to outlander and always so excited to watch it❤. But can I please ask of you to do something about the sound? I can barely hear anything :(
I hear about your stress and anxiety and I feel for you, I really do. I grabbed my cat and rocked and petted her for you, in your honor. She sent some good kitty vibes purring to heaven for you. Is that too silly? Likely. 🤗🤭 Myself, I'm a strong person. I never stress and I'm frequently in people's faces (in a good way, I hope. I never intend to be a downer to anyone unless they greatly deserve it.) I'm the person in the race who pauses to pick up the ones that trip, I'm the one who takes home the lost puppies and kittens (sometimes the human ones). I wish I could be there to shove my way in between you and those who are giving you such stress. I would pick you up under the armpits and stand you on your feet and send you to put away the dishes in the new cupboard while I ordered around the people bringing in the furniture. Sorry I couldn't be there to do that for you, but next time you feel that way think of me, the old fuzzy and warm Grandma lady with a broom in her hand, using one end to dust you off and make you all better and the other end to whack at those who don't treat you kindly. Maybe my image can make you feel stronger.

Jocosta is a flawed woman but that was a good move testing Roger like that. Can't hurt anything.
I hope you feel better And you deserve to relax with your family

When Jamie calls on Fergus to pledge allegiance it's such an awesome scene.
