Really, I think they should have had more women flirting with Jamie in this series. He's too beautiful not to get a lot of flirts, even in those times. Just ask Sam, I'm sure he can't go to take a pee without a dozen side-glances, flirts and blown kisses all the time.😘 But Sam winks back😉, Jamie doesn't because he's is devotedly married.
Jamie's reaction, at the end, was what any parent would have had if someone you trusted, like young Ian, and your daughter's closest friend at the time, told you such a thing, and him being extremely temperamental and having the supposed man nearby , I didn't expect anything other than a final scene like this. The next episode will have multiple points of view for a good discussion. Can't wait for you to react 👌
Best reaction ever!! I never get tired of watching that reunion scene. Sam and Sophie played it perfectly. However, when I rewatch the episode I always fast forward through the beginning and shut it off before Roger gets his ass kicked. I don't need to revisit those moments. So much joy and so much pain in one episode.
Such control you have to only watch one episode at a time! When I first started watching, they were on season 3. I binged first 3 seasons in like 2 weeks!
"I loved this episode, BUT I hated it!" ~ Evie Painful Agony... Uncontainable Joy... Deep, Profound Sadness... Contented and Heartfelt Warmth... finally... Horrific Shock. Evie leapt up and dove down through all of these emotional extremes in an uncontrolled 'bree' (disturbance). There maybe a more heart-felt TV Episode reaction in the Patreon/YT universe, but it's more likely... not! THANK YOU EVIE for a TRULY GREAT REACT to one of THE GREAT OL EPISODES!
My favorite episode. My all time favorite scene is of Bree and Jamie meeting each other for the first time, immediately followed by Claire and Bree reuniting. The look on Claire's face when she sees Bree is priceless and then Jamie looking so proud. The book sections where Claire finds out Bree is pregnant are very entertaining and very sarcastic. They tried to do that here but not with the same success as the novel. Still my very favorite episode though. #1 is 409. Then 408, then 501, and 306, etc.....
@Melissa Bowers - I agree that 'The Birds and the Bees' MUST be a top episode, and CAN BE #1, but for me, it's got to be Dragonfly, then Freedom and Wiskey. (I think I am with you about Bree meeting Jamie as THE favorite scene - - - AND I don't think Evie could possibly disagree!!! After all, since Evie laid eyes on Bree in Dragonfly, she hasn't stopped saying that she couldn't wait for this moment to arrive!!!)
It's outlander will still have a lot more drama ahead. situations and problems are almost never resolved so easily. So many happy and heartbreaking things happen in this episode. I loved their reactions on every date Brianna had. Bree meeting Jamie first had a huge emotional impact. too cute, him calling her my baby and their hug was such a relief. for people who finally saw this father and daughter getting to know each other and yes like you Evie I saw the hug that Bree gave Jamie as a form of comfort seeking. now she has someone for her who loves her unconditionally and will protect her always. Bree finding Claire impossible not to cry. Bree meeting the family her father's cousin and godfather characters we already know and love. I loved seeing the whole family interact together despite Brianna not being fully present. all Jamie's scenes with Bree are precious and heart warming. Claire and Bree's conversation was devastating. Claire discovering that her little girl was the one abused and ended up pregnant by her ripper. plus the words and comfort that Claire as a mother brought to Bree was comforting. Having seen how Brianna's abuse happened and her state after it happened body, mind and emotional destroyed and found out that she may have ended up pregnant with Bonnet is killing it. but all the suffering for these characters is little and can always make what is already bad a little worse. Lizzie didn't go wrong in thinking it was Roger, anyone who saw what she saw would have done the same. she was doing it for Brianna who she has a loyalty to. I'm glad you're not mad at her Evie. Jamie reacted as any parent would have reacted in the presence of their abused daughter. omg Jamie spanked Roger. Roger got really worked up about it, he even said that's enough, being innocent. his ordeal is just beginning
So much drama here. I feel bad for Brianna of course but Roger couldn't deserve what happened to him less. And on top of that it being by Brianna's dad. Brutal lol
I think I've said it before, but I'll say it again.. I love that your reactions always come from the heart! So many emotions in this episode! And like for many other people here, Jamie meeting Brianna is one of my all time favourite scenes!!! There's a great line in the book (it's not exactly this but close..) Brianna is worried that there is NO chance it could be Roger's baby, and Clair says to her "as a Dr. there's a name I would use to refer to people who relied on the withdrawal method for birth control... parents." So, at least they leave us with that smidgen of doubt. 😊
I recommend the science fiction series "The Expanse", it's complete on Amazon video, a space movie, with political intrigue, space battles and drama. One of the best series of this decade. The first season is dense because it presents the political conflict between the different factions, terrestrial, Martian and that of the Jupiter belt, and there are also many characters, but from the second season it accelerates all the plot and action. Many call this series the Game of Thrones of space. All the best.
Yeah, that they might have faked their own deaths crossed my mind also. And, if i remember right, the newspaper didn't say claire's name, just jamie's wife. I never understood how frank or anyone could have been sure it was claire, and not laoghaire or someone else. As for the ending, this is outlander. Of course things get bad. :-)
Hi Evie, it’s been a while since I commented but that is because I don’t like Outlander when it’s in America at Frasers Ridge i much preferred it in my home country Scotland. Although I’ve kept up with the seasons it doesn’t grap my attention anymore. I do like this episode and I’m looking forward to your comments. Take care and stay safe 😘🏴
Putting winter tires on in February? You shoulda done that back in December. Now you're just going to take them off in a month and a half. Tsk, tsk. Be sure to check your fluids while you're at it. A girl's got to keep her car safe! Great reaction. Loved seeing you bounce in your chair when Bree was finding Jamie. When I saw this for the first time I was thinking "Ooh, Mama! This is what you went through time for? I agree with you, you HAD to come back!" LOL
And that's when she realized that only a man like that would make her mother go back in time 🥰💗🥺😭♥️♥️
I loved how Jamie showed Brianna his loyalty to Clare before knowing that he was actually talking to his daughter.

Well he saw pictures of her when claire showed him so thats why
Been waiting for this episode, my favorite Jamie meets his daughter for the first time always makes me smile.

I was never really into romantic movies or shows before I saw Outlander, but this show gives me hope for future love now haha.

Brianna recoils from every man who tries to touch her except Jaime for most of the season, it was such a small detail.

@@TerryYelmene Awesome points. Well said.
I like how Lizzie tells her the story and where Jamie is, and then runs over there with Bre, but then magically disappears. lol.

Nice to see tears of joy Evie, even though Brianna may or may not be carrying Bonnet's child.Lol💓

YESSSS I’ve been waiting all week for this!
I choked up reading about Brianna and Jamie’s meeting. They did a pretty good job here too!

You said the words i said the most this season 4 "poor Roger!"😅

@@eviereacts 🤭Oops, my bad. You're a good girl. 🥰😚

ugh....Lizzie being the problem, always. AND - Why is Briana scolding her for a light jog??? "It isn't lady like".
Right?! Like Briana of all people would care about that! (In the book she wanders around town in pants).
@@Adrienne1eh Just a weird choice.
Hello , you are really cute . Can you continue Lucifer please ?
