    okay, i think i'm ready to share my experience doing this routine push up for the past 30 days,
    first of all, sometime i would only do them every other day (around 4-5 times a week) , but most of the time i would do this routine every day
    before
    single leg pushup - barely 10 reps
    wide pushup - barely 10 reps
    staggered pushup - 5 reps
    tricep pushup - 5 clean reps + 5 assisted tricep pushup
    side pushup - 5 - 6 reps
    after/now
    single leg pushup - 22 reps (today's new max)
    wide pushup - 18 reps
    staggered pushup - 15 reps (today's new max)
    tricep pushup - 10 clean reps + 5 assisted
    side pushup - 13 clean reps
    keep in mind that i sometime stop for 1-2 seconds during the 30 second workout window, but i still get the numbers and i make sure i maintain a perfect form in order to count it as a rep
    Trust me, it never gets easy with this routine despite doing it everyday
    for example, the staggered hand pushup - is really hard regardless how long i have done it.
    you just get better with ur ROM and rep count
    another big improvement i saw is from my side pushup, i always start with my non dominant hand, and it was always the hardest as i am a strong lefty, now i feel like my right arm strength is equally matched with my left whenever i do the side pushups
    i'm just randomly sharing my experience, it has been great so far, hope you guys will give it a try too

      Awesome man! Inspires more to get those results. You should do more variants of arm exercises, goes for any exercise, actually. If you get results with it, make it your routine every-other week arm work out. You just don't wanna overdo one set of exercises, or your results will tend to flatline over time.

      Ryan Howell thanks, I'm actually a recreational weightlifter, I'm just trying these body weight exercise because I thought maybe I really should incorporate some bodyweight training in order to train my body in a different way, I'm also at the same time trying to master the handstand push ups and the L sit while I'm doing this along with my gym routine, cheers

      Awesome man! Didn't mean to make it sound like you were uneducated in the workouts :) Just was saying in-case! I just started body weight after basically only lifting and doing cardio, and its great. I can already feel the extra strength. It's crazy how much endurance I have gained since starting daily body weight.

      No, I never took it that way, and yes, I do feel the same although I do need to step up on my cardio game for the summer along with a more sound nutrition, all the best

    On my 2nd round of FB Burn, and can I just say one thing? I despise you, Daniel. Today's upper body workout KILLED ME. My arms are limp noodles.
    Also, thank you for inspiring me to life heavier and move more slowly, rather than doing a ton of repetitions with a lower weight. I now have definition in my shoulders and arms for the first time since I was dancing every day in high school. I may feel weak as a kitten right this second, but I feel stronger overall than I have in more than a decade. You and Kelli are honestly part of the reason I get up and work out 5 day a week, and I hope you know that we (your viewers) appreciate all of the work that you do.

    I love your videos, thanks...question, on 4:43, you open your arms perpendicular to your body. I read that your arms should be at least 45 degrees to your body ( close to your sides) when doing push ups, to avoid problems with your rotational muscles, what's your opinion on this? thanks

      It actually has to do with your nervous system. Your body isn't used to the coordination. This is common for almost every exercise when you are relatively new.

      There is a reason for the phrase "no pain, no gain" you're doing it wrong if your arms aren't sore. The point of it is to get your muscles get sore, or scientifically break your muscle. And then let it heal, the healing process is how you get muscles back. The more you break your muscles, the more you can get bulked up.

    The Staggered Hand Push Up can be dangerous. I actually hurt my shoulder with it 4 years ago and haven't done it since. Just my two cents.

    • @phdgaming4137
      @phdgaming4137 11 років тому

      it makes sense why. it puts so much pressure on your joints, which is very bad and dangerous

    • @phdgaming4137
      @phdgaming4137 10 років тому

      it should still work. I would just avoid any exercises that can put a lot of pressure on ur joints.

    is it still working if i reduce the time for each exercise, or should i rather reduce the amount of pushups i do during the thirty seconds? Very grateful for the free information here. thanks!

    • @billcosby668
      @billcosby668 10 років тому

      If you absolutely must, reduce the amount of time you do it for. For example, from 30 to 25 secs. NEVER I repeat NEVER half ass your push ups or any workout.

      La Bintess Dosso im a girl and i did it, but half way through i had to modify the push-ups , so instead of pushing of my toes i pushed up of my knees. But if i work on it long enough i will be able to do it like this guys. Same goes for every girl. Just start out with some basic exercises to build up the strenght and move on from there...baby steps.
