March 2024 Digital SAT, 4 Score Reactions (we got cooked)

- March 2024, First Digital SAT scores are out. And well as the video says, we got cooked… Thanks again to Mr. Zhang and anonymous for joining us in reacting to our SAT scores. The digital SAT will be available in May and June which we will all probably take. Let us know how your first Digital SAT went and if you’re planning to take more.

The second part of that math section was crazy though. I was getting 800s in the practice tests and got a 670 on the real thing 💀

You guys did really well. Also guys remember the sat dosent define you. I got a shitty score but still had many colleges offers scholarships.

@@YoungMinistry351 I was part of the school government. I was the school secretary, I also made an instrgram page decicated to studying, I had a 3.7 gpa I believe and I got someone to write me great recommendations. The scholarship I got was the for new Institute of technology ( I don't really remember the college name) but I couldn't go? Cuz the tuition price killed me and it was too far of a commute😭. So I end up going to a college where aid fully covers me.

First SAT I got a 1210. I got a full ride to a competitive school with that in October going test optional. I retook the SAT and got a 1500 in October too even though I had already applied to all my schools LOL. Anyways those scores are pretty freaking good no matter what and the SAT doesn't define anyone's success! Obviously keep pushing and going for what you want but don't let it affect how you view yourself!

I gave my SAT on December 2nd with like a month of prep 1h each day ☠️ (international) . Only needed to do for English so it worked out. Got 790M and 750E = 1540 while the marks in my practise tests ranged from 1480 to 1510 lolol

@@beavercollection2.029 for math I didn't do anything, like literally nothing, for English I first checked random youtube videos for the topics of sat and how to do those things as in India we don't have that stuff. Then I just used khan academy for rest of the things and gave the college board practice tests

glad I got it over with during the paper. 1570 in the bag and don't have to worry about all the digital BS since I know I suck at digital tests.

Damn. I still haven't received my score, though it should be available within 5 days. (I took it March 26)
I had the misfortune of taking their trial of the DSAT overseas last year; it crashed 3 times. I got a 1420 because my focus was completely ruined and digital tests are harder to mark and skim through. Took it on paper the last time it was being offered in November and got a 1560. I feel bad for all the students who have to put up with College Board's complete and total digital incompetence for all future tests.
The first one is literally same with mine including Math and Reading and Writing Scores too xD.

Took the march SAT and got a 1210, retook again June 1st and got a 1400 just from watching YT videos and doing math section practice tests. Yall are impressive getting over 700 for math

Practice using CollegeBoards practice tests on BlueBook, use KhanAcademy, learn to pace yourself

Dudeee I got that exact same score (700 EBRW and 790 math) when I took my SAT as a junior... Don't worry dude you'll get that 1510+ if you give it another try. I took it again and got a 1540 and I've got no doubt you'll get there or even higher than I did. Keep up the good work 👍.

I got 1510 on my first try on the october international DSAT, I used to get 780+ in practice tests but 760 on the actual thing ( i got cooked on the second part) and somehow I managed to pull a fast one in english and score 750

I used SAT Bootcamp under CollegeBoard, but I heard DSAT Practice Tests and Khan Academy are good as well.

Just download blue book and take practice exams, its free all you need is a college board account

They most likely will be. No certainty though
Bro you have zero reason to retake it (unless your trying to get into harvard or something.) A 1540 is like top 5 percent in the world. The only schools that wont accept it immediately are gonna be ivy leagues
@@orange_turtle3412 thanks bro but I am aiming for an Ivy League or a top 10-20 school, and I’m sure I can do better on the SAT(I ran out of time for 3 questions on English and one on math, and I did better on practice tests). Regardless I won’t take a test after this next one.
@@tootyg944 If your sure you can do better, I guess it doesnt hurt to try again. I personally wouldnt because the idea of giving such a disgusting company even one cent more than I have to isnt one I particularly like. But good for you if you can do better!

Im actually the opposite of you guys. So im a junior and i took 3 sat paper tests. My reading was always better than my math. I think for my first one i got a 740 reading 710 math. Which i wasnt happy with. I then took it again and got 740 reading but went down to 670 math 😭. Funally the last one i got 760 reading 770 math which was the first time i ever got higher math than reading. Then i soon felt like shit when i realized my 1530 was the lowest score in my whole friend group. 2 mfers got 1600s 💀

1530 is more than good for any college. id say 1450 and above really if you wanna go to a "prestigious" school for whatever reason

How many can you get wrong to get a 660 on the English section? I think I got -5/6 for Module 1 and -8 on Module 2.

Hello Mr ap I am a sophomore, upcoming junior, and my school is allowing some sophomores to take the sat in june, so given that I got a 1460 750 in math 710 in English on the psat in October, what should I be aiming for score wise
it's all up to you and which schools you want to attend. 1460 is already really good!

Hey, can u pls help me out idk what to do. I gave my sat on march 9 2024, and it has been 6 weeks now i havent received my result yet. Colleg board emailed me that my test went for audit testing and that they would reach out to me after 3 weeks but they never did. What do i do
I hv emailed them called them but they r not answering.

how do you prepare for SAT? I'm an immigrant so it's hard to get a good score like you. Are there any sites or books that can help me with studying?
Khan Academy is a good resource, as well as practice SATs online on Bluebook

Nah it was kind of hard. A lot of people found the Math section impossible and English is always hard lmao
Reading is so easy its actually kinda sad. Math section 1 is fine. Math section 2 tho, if you did good enough on section 1 to get the "hard" version, is likely gonna be the hardest test youve ever taken by a long shot. Its unfairly difficult and has been getting a fuckton of backlash. Prepare yourself.

@@Mr.AP5 They shortened the passages and half the questions are these weird note taking things that you can answer in 2 seconds without even reading the passage. The only thing there is to struggle with is vocabulary, but even a blind guess has a 1 in 4 chance of being right. It’s objectively much simpler than the math part.

What are the best things I can do to study and what resources should I use? I took it once so far at got a 1350, but I’m aiming for a 1450-1500
just practice, practice, practice. Make sure to do the bluebook mocks and khan academy isn't bad either

Everything. Practice everything, watch for mistakes, learn from mistakes, and make school your top most priority

Usually 2 weeks, but if it was managed by your school it can take longer
that isint too bad like a 1550+ would be good but still atleast it isint lower than a 1300

what does super score mean
Let's say you get 1500 (760 Reading and 740 Math) on one SAT. Several months later, you take another one and get 1490 (690 Reading, 800 Math). Most colleges allow for superscore, which is your highest category from each combined. In this case, Math 800 and Reading 760 -> 1560 SAT superscore
I got 1480, if I superscore I get 1500 ( My goal score) 🎉
I went from 660 to 730 English just by going from paper to digital lol
