Loved seeing this as a mom! Nice work boys. Lots of stress taking those exam. My son (11th) got 2 5’s AP LANG & APUSH, 4 is Physics and 3 In German.
He took AP CHEM as 9th grader and that was a big mistake (with Covid and only being 14) so is shying away from majoring in Chem/Biology or Science in college. Although he really liked those classes and had great grades.

Your son is so overthinking, its actually ridiculous to not want to major in Chem or Biology because of an AP Score. If the truly wants to do it then he shouldnt shy away from it. I took calculus 1 three times, calculus 2 three times, chemistry 111 twice, and next in the fall next year im graduating college as a Comp Sci major. I took those classes those many times because i kept doing bad, I wasnt dedicating as much time to the classes and the course material was really hard for me. I literally failed chemistry 111 the first time i took it. The 2nd time i took chem111 and actually studied i only missed 4 questions the entire semster. And in my calculus classes i eventually passed all of them with A and B's but that took a lot of time and effort.
At my university u can only attempt a class 3 times before you cant take it anymore, most students change their major before they get to that point or say its not for them because they arnt smart enough or its too hard. Dont let some stupid letter grade prevent you from accomplishing and doing the things you enjoy or else you will be stuck doing some dumb major that you dont enjoy but is easy enough for you to get a good grade in. Just to later in life regret the major you choose.
It seems like he may benefit from the Dual Enrollment alternative.

@@sulaimanmahmood6170 hey! in my opinion, it was the easiest out of the exams that i took. there's a fair amount of vocab and concepts to know, but in terms of complexity the course is one of the simplest. if you study, the mcqs are pretty breezy, and as long as you know your terminology and ideas for the frq answers, you'll be fine.

Took physics C last year and my professor literally didn’t show up for 75% of first semester and then didn’t do any teaching for second semester. Managed to stumble out with a 3 which I was so proud of ngl as well as my 4 in ap lang

More APs doesn't necessarily mean better. A good deal of 1 to 2 APs gets the job done just as well. Shows that you were willing to undertake a schedule of high rigor

I didn't do AP Bio and I did AP Chem my sophomore year. Going to be Sophomore, I would recommend APES for business or AP Physics if you are just generally interested in a Science

Depends on the AP exam. For harder exams like calculus you only like a 65%, but for easier exams like CSP, you need about 90%

It was my first and only AP I took during freshman year of high-school, and I was somewhat slacking off that year, so I kinda threw and got a 3. To be fair, AP social science classes I tend to struggle with because I find the MCQ subjective and hard, as well as tricky FRQs.

The Bible says that no one on this earth is good. Not one person who has ever walked this earth is good (except Jesus). In fact, “If we say we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8 NASB). Therefore we, being bound by the Ten Commandments, have broken them. “You shall not steal”, “You shall not lie”, “You shall not covet”, and “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain” are some commandments to name. We have violated at least one of these, if not most, and consequently, we must face God’s justice: death and hell. How can we be saved from that? There is only one explanation, and that is Jesus Christ. 2,000 years ago, God was merciful enough to send His Son to suffer the wrath of God (the Bible says He became sin for us). Just before He died, He cried out, “It is finished.” That means He paid the fine so we could be free. No longer are we condemned when we trust that what God did on the cross was sufficient for our salvation, nor are there any more charges held against us for our sins. There are two things you must do to be saved: you must repent (that is, confess and forsake your sins and perpetually turn from them), and trust alone in Jesus for your salvation (accept the free gift of eternal life and don’t trust that your own good works can save you from what you’re guilty of). You could die tonight or in the next hour, so please, with loving consideration, please turn to God. He is willing nobody should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Constant self-hate needs to be balanced with a little bit of self-love and respect
Quick proof that God is real: if there is a building that you see, but you don’t know who built it, then the logical sense is to assume that a builder built it, and it didn’t just show up out of nowhere. If there is painting, then that’s proof that there’s a painter who made that painting even if they have passed away a long time ago. So, if we have creation- Earth, the sky, grass, flowers, animals, us, etc, then isn’t the logical sense to assume there is a creator?
Have you ever used God’s name in vain-like a cuss word, lied, stolen, hated someone, gossiped, lusted, etc(see more in the 10 commandments)? This is called sin and we’ve all done at least one of these. Now, sin is basically doing something against God’s will. Now because we have done something against His will, it’s good to note that He is Just. A JUST judge wouldn’t look at a guilty criminal and give them a non-guilty verdict for what they’ve done. And if the Judge is Just, they wouldn’t let the criminal go if they had said that they had done something Good. Our actions are way more serious and cannot be paid off of just because I did something Good. (So good works cannot save us) This is exactly How God is! He’s so just that He looks at us, and He has to send us to hell. Scary right? But HERE’S THE GOOD NEWS!! Usually, there is bail- a payment that someone can do for a guilty criminal so that they can be set free- legally. Now here’s JESUS, who is GOD and takes our place for us THROUGH DYING ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS- to basically pay off the price that sin created. See Romans 6:23, but here’s what Jesus did: John 3:16, Romans 4:25, 2 Corinthians 5:21 AND
Romans 10:9-10
If we believe in Jesus and repent (turn away from sin) then we will be saved from our punishment. But we must continue this relationship with Jesus!
How do you know that the specific creator was Jesus and not some other god we haven't discovered yet?

Physics 1 had the worst pass rate this year I think, and APUSH just has tough essays. It's still a passing grade, but consider taking less challenging APs to not stress yourself too much
