Lyric Meaning Below:
Beyond being about the facts with some forces of nature like hurricanes, as well as other unstoppable forces, this lyric was inspired by elite athlete Rob Gronkowski who played TE (tight end) for the New England Patriots. The way that he would pound through opposing players reminded of what a hurricane does. Players in many sports have special qualities. Neither critiques nor praises affect their nature, change what they are, or how they work. The non-effect of critiques and opinions seems pointless and somewhat funny to me. They simply do what they do while seeming like superheroes at times.
For a song lyric, “force of nature” didn’t sound as impactful as “freak of nature.” The sound of the “ka” in “hurricane” was more similar to “freak" than say, “tornado.” It is sound that put the two together. Like all the lyrics on the album, they can be interpreted by the listener.

I first used smartphone to listen this and it was mistake because speakers could not bring out drums enough clearly and guitar was too prominent in the mix. With headphones everything was incredibly clear. I would have thrown backwards toward wall if had blasted this from proper HIFI speakers.
There was things i wanted to hear Mangini to play that sounded fresh. Enough to keep the song as a song and to want to listen more.
Mangini is still proper Heavy Metal drummer like in Annihilator days if he wants.
For some reason reminded of Skid Row that i never liked but singer and the whole song was like just what Skid Row would have needed to impress me.
Man, I'm SO glad you made a "normal" music album instead of the instrumental route that guys at your level usually choose. The kind of music everyone can enjoy, regardless of context. And the songs you released so far are AMAZING! I'm really blown away by how much I like them, I keep listening to them time and time again.

Drums are sounding killer on this, Mike. Love how this is very musical, melodic and not necessarily only beat/drum oriented. Really cool stuff! Lovely to see your creative side outside of drumming!

This is a perfect 1st release for him. The vocal hook is very catchy over a killer riff, the drums (via headphones) are really effective using stereo imaging to match the music and key changes, the solo has sick runs only he would come up with and the lead voice is raspy, nailed with no auto tune or too many effects and it is different. I’ll bet that he has a jaw dropper coming for the 2nd release.

God I can't wait for the rest of the this. This tom/guitar unisons in the solo are mind blowing. Love the vibes too, driving metal with some fun and funk on top. Super fun listen, lots of replay value in the drumming and other instrumentation as well as in the vocal melodies. Great stuff Mike.

Wow, that was somewhat unexpected. But the breaks and details from 2:40 is just astonishing. Love the drumming the vibe of the song (even thoug ot was totally not in the genre I expected). You’ll hear small clusters of them on a lot of the solo sections on this album, like are buried in this F.O.N. solo, as well as spread out over a couple of the songs’ main sections. With the solo sections, you have to slow them way down to hear them. There are two very fast N : 5 ones for example. “N” means a number you have to find : ) There are odd clusters all over the place, but this album was harder to write and keep the impression of 4/4 for average listeners than cannot handle time changes.
