Beginner's Pilates side lying for Back pain Gluteus Medius 15 minutes . Tighten and tone your butt!

  • Hello Pilates Lovers, welcome back to my channel. This video is focusing on the Gluteus Medius muscle ,which is one of your buttock muscles that help with your posture, balance and stability If this muscle is strengthen, it will eventually help low back pain.
    Side lying position is a great alternative if lying on your back causes pain and discomfort.
    4 simple exercises in this video are :
    heel slides, reverse heel slides, side lying leg circles and clam shell.
    Quality is very important than quantity and I do believe performing 4 at a time is great way to master all the Pilates exercises in order to prevent injury.

    After 14 days of doing this excellent video I am able to walk without pain!!!!So many thanks to you Annie. I will continue on your next progression. My original injury 3 years ago was overdoing the bike riding in spin class every day. Going nuts on the bikes to the wild music. My hip muscles were blown out with no accompanying strength building exercises at that time. Horrible pain for so long and I ended up sitting a lot. Discouraged..went to 3 chiropractors and one PT. No one identified the cause of my pain. But you Annie knew what I had to do and you explained it so well..Thanks so much. I was able to run a bit yesterday painless.
