When he said “I don’t think I’m 100% sold on Solar yet” and you responded with “yeah, and you shouldn’t because you havnt gotten the information yet” PERFECT RESPONSE 🎉
Agree, and then counter. When you agree it lowers their guard, so they listen to your counter. And your counter should be more information that eases their doubts. However sometimes they dont clearly express their doubts so it's your job to figure out what they want to know based on how they're acting.
“I’m good too” 😂this man is a BEAST
This guy radiates positivity. I love it
For anyone watching this don’t knock a door without mentioning solar because when the closer returns and mentions solar in most cases they will be like “oh this is about solar no thank you” dont be scared to say solar
Very true. Ive sold over a megawatt of solar here in TX. You have to be upfront especially in Texas. Your job as a closer begins when you overcome a objection. The fastest way to bring out an objection is to mention the word, solar.
@@piocarrillo17they tell us to says it’s kinda like solar but better 😭😭
😂😅
I agree thought that was strange how he didn’t mention solar 😂
Closers fucking habit way to greet gravy all they do is just go to appointments all day. It’s so easy it’s ridiculous being a setter is for an idiot.
Jacob by far is my favorite person to see in action!! His easy going nature is how you do this job!!
I consult homeowners about utility usage, savings and complete independence from the utility companies.
This guy Jacob is a beast! so zen and chill on the doors
Bro he’s just like you and me. 1st and 2nd door was awesome. Great stuff, if you 18 jump in this shit!!!
You are crushing it bro 👊🏽
Dudes a beast. Great job all around man.
Such a beast! Great Video
hey man, im a recruiter could hook you up with a solar sales job this month if you want for free
It’s like watching Mark Wahlberg knock doors haha. Awesome infield gentlemen 🔥
I see more of a Brad Pitt in his tone and posture but that's just me lol
Do the job for the love of the product and money will come . Most people can’t sell because they don’t know their product enough and can’t overcome objectives .
Love it boss! Good work, I didn’t hear ya explain the tax incentive portion? Hope that wasn’t left out. That part is very important, although I know it’s just a cherry on top.
I usually start around 1 if I can’t around 1 definitely prime time 4-8
Awesome video, love the positive energy and amazing skills.
hey man, im a recruiter could hook you up with a solar sales job this month if you want for free
The ball kicks are my favorite to watch his comebacks🤣
Great content here. I’m actually surprised you’re not leaving door hangers behind when you’re out. Any reason you chose not to?
Love it when guys like this under sell folks. Then my squad goes in and sells them the other 3-5 kilowatts they needed to stop getting a bill.
how many $/watt?
14kw and roughly $15k…that’s insane commission😳😳
That’s how it is in CT
What company is this for? My commission off a 14kw in ct is 4k
@@TheRealAvanturist Sunrun, what company you work for? I’m assuming Trinity or posigen or sunova. If not one of the even smaller companies
Doing the Lord's work and learning from the best !
Did you make money on that coin?
Carlos can you make a video of why a lot of solar company’s get bought out or go out of business? As a roofing contractor I’ve been dealing with a solar company for detach of panels to do a reroof, and the company is so bad at communicating and have the worst reviews on the BBB.
It’s probably sunbility
Probably selling less than stellar panels, to get out of the 25 year warranty.
He wont tell you but its because most are ass and are scams I went to a interview for one and it was predatory scams targeting dumb old people. They dont tell them about the quality and theyre easy to lie about. and many times they dont put the panels up they hire someone to which leads to an issue where if its not done right its no repair person willing to help because they have bad customer service and the people who put it up wont be paid to repair it. The Warranty they tell you about is BS because no one actually will be willing to repair it. Theres not even a real office for many of them or theyre based way out of state.
They get sued for breach of contract or failure to perform. Like the guy who buys in this one, he's not getting what they say they're getting him and this video is exhibit A in court 🤣🤣
If you buy solar from these type of guys, record the conversation because they'll forget and say anything to get the money. Then you sue them for a refund, they're just brokers. They keep the sales profit, hand the rest to electricians, and on to the next one. The electricians they use are even scabbier because the home owner isn't the customer, the sales firm is so they just blow huge holes in walls and do scabby installs and tell the owner to get fucked when they hate the work. This model is the worst possible scenario for everyone involved.
Ya’ll don’t realize 90% of these people will cancel if you keep ASSUMING they want it. You need to post close. Not many know what that means.
When did they start PPA system in Florida!?
Recommended epc for independent sales?
Where did you get that zillow chart?
Making $1000 a day means the consumer is getting hosed. My neighbor just paid $50,000 for a solar system that they'll never be able to pay off. The solar co. was supposed to remove some trees as well and of course that never happened. I'm guessing not many of these salesmen have a conscience.
You sir have an excellent point but Asta have you heard of a PPA? No financing. Every system is case sensitive but there are salesman that “hose” people and there are salesman that help people. Like I said each system and deal is case sensitive. We can understand that and do research or we can always make a blanket statement like this.
As long as there payment is considerably lower than electric bill it will always be a win win, because them and there grand kids will pay electric bills for rest of their lives!!
@@Jason-uc5wkthat’s what I tell home owners. The only way this makes sense is if you pay lower.
Hey guys, how is knocking in Florida, do you need permits out there?
I’m knocking in California don’t really need permits out here
You need one I think
Hey thought you guys were releasing a training platform for purchase
Training is in the field knocking doors
What I’m recognizing by watching this video is the need of the sales representative to be “in the moment” in the conversation. Mentally emotionally and physically engaged. Like when the gentleman said, “I don’t know what you’re selling,” the sales rep said “because I haven’t given information yet”, and then warmly laughed and joked. That’s being in the moment. I think that’s what makes certain sales representative stand out above the rest.
I have a question. As a sales person in solar how much following up with the homeowner, if any, is there after you have made your commission and for how long out after you made your commission are you following up with the homeowner and what about? Thanks!
I work for Sunrun direct to home, so I do door knocking, appointment setting, and closing my self, but even after we get paid for the install, we are technically account managers so if they ever need anything, they can contact us, and we can either solve the issue or get the right person to solve an issue/answer a question customer may have. I always follow up right after install and after their first bill.
@@8ight6ix0z 🔥🔥
@@8ight6ix0z do you work in Florida?
@@kellyreed2841 I work in Connecticut bro why?
Bro always follow up with them, especially the ones you like! They would love to hand you business from their friend/family!
Bro I had a lady stick a burnt spoon in my face cursing me out cause she was like Do you work with f%#ng Duke Energy then starts cursing me out sticking a spoon in my face saying it’s a no soliciting neighborhood(btw only have worked a week in solar) but at least I got my first sale in my first week😂
What was the commission? I’m
Starting here in a little bit
@@Tharvey9421 I got ripped off actually when I started that job so just make sure your working for a good company it should be close to 1k commission per sale in Solar tho I have a video on how to have a great start in sales make sure to check it out‼️
cancelations are by far the most annoying thing us reps have to deal with in solar..
My man Brad Pitt out here knockin doors let’s gooo hahah 👏👏
Sounds n looks like 😂😂😂
I knew someone else would notice that hahah
Guy looked like a young Robert Blake!
Smooth Salesman
Are these lower and fixed income neighborhoods the best areas to knock???
Legitimate question, I’m interested in why he’s not in a better neighborhood
That's just Florida bro 🤣🤣
It's all about solar will change the way people think about energy
Pretty sleezy that you don’t mention solar. Like save by doing what???
What do you send him that has videos and shit about the solar program
Lol seeing this is ironic 😂 just got the boot 👢 from my solar sales job today. Didn’t get enough appointments/demos.
Go work for Sunrun. I work for them rn. What state do you live in?
@@8ight6ix0z I’m in CT, i got an interview with them on monday
@@mambaclaud9800 no way bro what town? Trying to pyo. I work for Sunrun d2h in CT out of the Hartford office. If you want, I can get you a meeting.
@@8ight6ix0z I’m in stamford CT. I have a meet with someone for the ct office. How’s your time in sunrun been so far.
Just opened up an office here in San Antonio Tx it’s going more than great! Ask me for any questions of if someone think they have what it takes to make 10k your first month get at me!
congrats man, need help with recruiting?
What time do you start knocking?
hey man, im a recruiter could hook you up with a solar sales job this month if you want for free
Did u explain he won’t get the tax credit ?
Or that it doesn’t add $5,000 a kw in equity
Or that criminal history has absolutely nothing to do with the tax credit
He didn’t seem to be thinking about a tax credit in the video otherwise he might’ve asked
Any way I could chat with someone? I currently work for a solar company and would like to chat with someone who works for this company about this company if that is okay?
Fill out the link in the description!
@@RealSalesDynamics Hey, I just did! Check it out.
How is he knowing the homeowners name prior to knocking on the door?
It’s all public information. There’s apps like Regrid etc that provide the info

35 panels for $279 a month? How?!?
Lots of different types of panels and inverters. And also they choose their commission.
Ketchup blackman will be missed

Poor guy at the end is about to pay double for electricity for 25 years. Hope he canceled. Y'all are lower than dirt for taking advantage of him.
Says someone who clearly doesn’t understand how solar works commenting on a solar sales page lol 😂
It helps that he sounds and looks like Brad Pitt
100.1% offset definitely isn’t enough. He will get a true up bill and end up having a bad taste. You talked about people screwing others over and ruining the industry but went on to do the same.
And you know that old man is not going to pay 19 grand in taxes year 1. So his bill will go up to 390.00.
@@duesing6 exactly. Losing respect for this channel
After this video definitely would never want to work for this company
Wth you talking about lol.
279 even if he didn’t get the tax credit it probably would go to 350-370ish. Which is still less then the power company and the utilities just keeps going up lmao
@@SkymanV1I ran the numbers 390.00 was correct.
Ketchup Blackman lmfao
84k agreement, such a scam
Oh and also… btw.. it’s 60,000$
Close your eyes and listen to the video, it sounds like Brad Pitt lol.
This guy sounds like Brad Pitt 🤔
think sometimes they just tell you they are renting to not talk to you, If I were you I wouldnt turn the back that quickly, maybe you get them into a conversation and it turns he said that because he got scammed before. is that a possibility?
Tf. Did he just call a Mexican shine the Illuminati?
Get them all excited that they qualify etc it’s misleading, it’s skirting the truth for a sale, just be honest of what your trying to sale and be personable it will go just as far except you can look in the mirror
He’s trying to “sell” cheaper electricity
They already pay for electricity monthly, but now they can pay less for it than they currently pay which is what he’s telling them
How to keep them away: “I rent the property”
Solar sales door to door is scummy stuff.
I'm so glad that nobody in our company behaves this way. It's embarrassing and straight out rude.
Dial back the testosterone.
And try to care about people.
