I find it incredible that our road taxes seem to be going on shoveling chippings into a hole in the road, 2 or 3 times before any form of permanent fix is achieved. What a waste of money. Fix it correctly - first time, every time.
The roads of Limerick are a disgrace and not up to scratch to withstand the heavy load that has increased over the years. Yesterday’s methods are not keeping up with today’s demands.
We are becoming a patchwork city of ill-fitting speed ramps, sunken roads, and potholed estates. Even a road that was newly laid, by St. Patrick’s School, is already ‘potholing’.
Rat-run areas like Rhebogue are suffering worst of all. Additional population and heavy development in the area have for sure, exacerbated the issue without the Council giving priority to the infrastructure.

At least you are discussing local issues, which is more than most candidates for local elections do. Might see you around canvassing and will certainly be interested in what Aontu has to say. 👍
