I live in an apartment block in Limerick. Do a weekly clean up of the area around the building. A number of residents continually throw cigarette butts out of windows, contributing to overflowing drains, usual debris thrown on the ground by passers by, non residents using the communal bins to offload electrical appliances (the odd fridge, microwaves and TV sets), non residents also use the communal bin area to offload their household refuse. It doesn't seem to matter if this is reported to authorities or to the management company of the building, the problem is continous. I gave up reporting the issue and just did the clean up every week. Thank you Aontu for highlighting this issue.
