The police are the establishment's enforcers. The establishment pays them way over the odds for their skills/qualifications to keep them loyal.

I was just thinking about watching some audits and here you are.
For one thing, you rock up on a scene that you know NOTHING about. Those guys may have been armed, so the police had a valid reason to keep you at a safe distance, but NO! You wanted to be in earshot of the police conversation, interfering like the busybody that you are, and making all sorts of assumptions on what you perceive to be going on.
And for another thing, you don't have a clue what Intel the police may have had on these characters, but you ASSUME, again, that it must be profiling, because the characters are BAME ( 📢))))) RACE 💳 CARD)
