      My wife and I spontaniously quote some part of his sandwich making vid when it applies to whatever we are doing at the time.. This happens pretty much every week since we cook a lot from our own garden....ya know, "grown locally".

    Cherish the great man while we still have him as he's a relic to a time of broadcasting genius and wonder. Every Gael had their lives enhanced by this man at some stage. Simply the best.

    Not only a fantastic commentator of the games (indeed the best) but also a fantastic commentator on the games, the culture surrounding them and of the people involved. Wonderful story teller too, which obviously lends well to a role as a commentator. And he could read a shopping list and hold your attention with his beautiful voice and perfect delivery.
    What a man! Thank you for the entertainment Mícheál.

      We call it soccer over here and I have never watched a match or even played the game, but I feel the same way. I love his voice and also the fact that he is so very passionate about what he does. He loves this game!

    He's right when he talks about Sean purcell, Michael o hare said the same thing Sean purcell was the best ever, Michael o hare and Michael o muircheartaigh would know because they would have seen alot of great players in there time, sean purcell was the best

      Try this - a funny patch in the middle of the clip when a streaker comes onto the field and he incorporates it into his commentary - say what you see as he said himself

    I was excited to watch this, but then I noticed the yellow blips at the bottom.
    14 ads?? I'm all for you being able to monetize, but when the video is broken up by that many advertisements, it just isn't worth watching.
    I'll have to skip this one.

      If you have or purchase a Google Chromecast Dongle, put it into your T.V and watch your videos or videos like these without the repetitive ads interrupting your enjoyment. I find they have just 5 seconds ones at best and even none at all most of the time.
      Hope this helps 👍🏻

    i will buy some good ham from the market to boil at home and then make the perfect ham sandwich as demonstrated and perfected by Micheal. i will not settle for cheap ham available in packets resembling razor blades.
