Yes such things should be banning but banning won't change the mentality of people. If it is not people's choice to choose right things and instead authorities's order then we can't develop as society. Because we will abuse every tool, every mean , every technology onto which we can get our hands upon.

Children are taught in school about keeping their surroundings clean, but it is only textbook Gyan, no implementation. We are only concerned about keeping our house clean. Doesn't matter if there is a bucket full of trash lying infront of our house. 'outside trash is not my problem', we need to change this attitude of ours first.
One of the simple solutions is to install dustbins every few meters in roads and regularly collect garbage from them and install spitbins in every vehicle even in 2 wheeled vehicles.

She was very proud and said that this was "Indian efficiency." This shocked us! She has no shame or discipline. From her we see the self-righteousness of Indians.
Such a misery to hear this, I'm sorry that happened. Yes this is a huge problem with 60-70 percent of my fellow citizens. But believe me, some of us are trying to be better and influence our peers. Yes being youngsters, we can't teach the previous older generations as they don't accept it only and their sense of false entitlement too. Yet I have tried and successfully influenced people of my age and younger too , it works, and there's hope that the coming generation will grow to be much more aware and a change will be developed over time. Yes.. Listening music loudly in bus and trains should be stopped. I had been to Chennai before 7/8 months. My mother had been a cancer patient. She had been suffering from pain. We had been travelling in an AC train. In both our going and returning journey we found many people listening loudly their smartphones. My mother couldn't sleep properly because of such continuous noise. On our return journey, one person in the next compartment was listening to music so loudly, it was almost 1 am at night. I couldn't stand it anymore, I went swiftly to the compartment and shouted at him for his act. I scolded him and he just decreased the volume, though he could have kept his mobile silent. People are not civilized at all.
I'm glad you mentioned INDORE. But I also want to mention that, we YOUTH are willing to do this but the starting, the first voice is very hard to rise. As in my town, there is a holy river. But people bath or do religion things and never take it with them. Its becoming dirty. So whenever I go there, I always thought what if there was a community to clean this in a week, I would be willing to volunteer here. I also be happy to make a community, as we youth are willing to interact with others, cuz that's we're lacking. As a school student, how much I try to tell others there is always- koi toh kar nhi Raha h toh hum kyu kare..? No want wants to take first step, even tho they also want to. I know, writing this things doesn't change anything, but If I try to rise my voice in public, people start calling me, thodi education kya Li muh chalana lag gai. For me, it was the issues for individual, community based. By watching videos and like and share them doesn't do anything. It'll be worthless, we as a Indian, we are proud to be na? So why not we make it a better one, for ourselves, for our kids.

It's partially true. But I disagree about us not being good humans. School doesn't determine good or bad humans. That comes from various other factors.

How many schools have seen teach students how to clean your washroom or classroom. Almost none. How many schools imbibe the aspect of living in a community and working together with others in the community to make it a better place. How many schools out there encourage students to speak up for themselves? How many encourage students to think for themselves beyond the syllabus?

The service roads have become a mandatory parking place both for a layman tempo bus wala and to a bmw, harrier, kia wala. Be it a literate or any unpadh.. both hold the same status in showing off their uncivilized way in the society. Yes, i agree
Great list, would add sex education too
We should demand and sign petition to ban gutkha ... Also children in schools should first be given education of civics sense
Yes such things should be banning but banning won't change the mentality of people. If it is not people's choice to choose right things and instead authorities's order then we can't develop as society. Because we will abuse every tool, every mean , every technology onto which we can get our hands upon.
Kaha se milega? When priority is only on grade/ Mark's...mere town ke school children bus stand pe chocolate/ snack khakar wahi fenke chalejathe hai even there is a Dustbin just 10m away. Meanwhile japnese kids remove what others were thrown.
CENTRAL GOVT WILL NOT DO IT THEY WANT MONEY FROM THEM AND BRIBE IT WILL FILL THEIR POCKETS THEY DONT CARE FOR PUBLIC
Children are taught in school about keeping their surroundings clean, but it is only textbook Gyan, no implementation. We are only concerned about keeping our house clean. @anikdey8540And West Bengal is one of the most dirtiest place in India honestly I did not knew that even villages are that dirty in WB .But I find villages of Darjeeling and Kalimpong were clean but Town were Dirtiest .
You should see how tourists behave in Himachal Pradesh. They litter everywhere, catcall, jump queues and drive when high. They say that since Himachal Pradesh earns from tourism, it their right to litter. "Paise poore karne hai".
True. I'm from Himachal. And the natives at least have basic civic sense here. Way better than a place like dehli. I stayed in dehli for a month and saw a clear distinction b/w how the people behave as compared to Himachal.
@@suvratpandit5701i am seeing that civic sense going away i remember hor crean by nani ghar used to be before shops were opened. Himachal is now uttarakhand and uttarakhand is now kashmir
@@suvratpandit5701 As a teenage Delhite, I completely agree with you
People from Delhi don't have any sense. They urinate in public and dump trash in the road and drive in high speed.
And after that they have the audacity to say that the government is not doing anything.
At lease they can keep the trash till they find a trash can and not urinate in public. But the don't have any sense
@@suvratpandit5701 Even if the locals here have somewhat better civic sense than others, they too dispose their kitchen wastes in the nallahs, where even the freshwater flows.. I live in a village in Himachal btw.

what a great video!! truly needs to be shared as much as possible
We need a Ministry of Civic Sense at both the national and state levels. Civic sense should be a subject taught in schools from the primary level. Also gutka, ban that shit.
Rather than a ministry inculcating moral values since childhood is the basic like how Japanese schools do
Ministry is waste
Both things should happen
Dear Mohak.. very nice of you to bring up this topic. I am a core Punekar. And I love my city and it has grownup enormous. It is my daily level of frustration and stress while going to office and taking my child to her class and back. I see people spitting, urinating, littering everywhere. People don't follow traffic rules, they with their might hold vehicles on the slightly visible zebra crossings, break signals and put others life in danger. The service roads have become a mandatory parking place both for a layman tempo bus wala and to a bmw, harrier, kia wala. Be it a literate or any unpadh.. both hold the same status in showing off their uncivilized way in the society. I everyday stop or point out the person to follow traffic rules, not to spit and litter. My daughter is affraid, she says mumma some day someone might hurt you for teaching them. Leave it now. What to say I don't know as I have no solution. Then in your video I saw a glimse of some tedx mask man. I googled and found the Ugly Indian. Simple steps done from own side will bring change. Thank you for your awareness and content. Shared it with all my contacts. 👍👍👍
when i was back in pune i used to think pune has no sense of driving but then i shifted to solapur and now i think pune is far much better
I am in Delhi ncr and feel the same way. Whenever I go to pick my kid from school, I try to get back at my home Asap because there's so much Chaos outside and people have no civic sense. It increases my stress and anxiety whenever I leave my house. Same situation is in kids parks and roads while driving.
When I go outside literally I get in a fight with people who don't follow rules, throw garbage from the car, smoke in the car . Sometimes I feel why I am the only one who gets bothered ,why everyone tolerates
If everyone speaks up definitely 0.5% people will change
Pune is narakwaas
@@solo.108 I am saying this very respectfully.. You can please leave for your good home town if Pune has been that much pain to you. Pune is absorbing everyone and everyone is getting benefits living in here. Everyone has upgraded their lifestyles staying in Pune. They are building their lives.. homes and family. One should be respectful, thankful and responsible to make and accept the change. We Punekars are happy that our core and originally highly cultured, educationally top and way ahead of its time Pune city is changing itself with everyone who joins it. People coming here from other parts of our country India and talking literal wrong is foolish to accept by anyone who pays respect towards this place which has given immense job opportunities and a safe place for their families to enjoy. Not to forget India is everyone's home and our constitution gives this great right to settle down in any corner of it. Bheed hum hi karte hai.. gandagi hum hi failate hai..khud ki itni jyada gaadiya use karte hai and public transport ko gaali deke traffic explosion hum se hi hota hai. There’s my neighbour (a lady) who does tuitions for school students. She makes the tuition students( even young girls) urinate outside her home in the open near a park and not let them use the bathroom in her house. It’s not about lack of education, or even infrastructure, just entitlement.
this is stain in name of teacher. Bhai, if I I was in your place then I would post a notice in front of house saying that she does that. Will she fight with you ? Yes but should you do it, also Yes. Some things are worth fighting for. Let the world know what she does
Then all neighbours should complaint about her to the police.... otherwise she won't understand!!
Next time she does it, make a video on it & post it on social media including tagging her (and more details like your area, city etc). Let it reach out to people. This lady should learn a lesson.

Im from indore and yes in starting almost all of us gave fine for not having 2 dustbins in home 😅 but now it's so general that all household have 2 dustbins, we have lots of dustbins on roads and street vendors are also very disciplined. Fines did work as well as recognition to all workers were also important. We also pay waste management fees. Vehicles who collect waste not only have 2 partitions but also two more bins for sanitary napkins and plastics. People feel shame to throw garbage on roads. Still many things like roads drainage system and sewage plans make the city look bad and also some extraordinary People with gutkas and paan make city unclean, I hope this would also change with time.

Excellent video Mohak. I am getting so many ideas right now. I am from Delhi, and love my city to bits. However it does pain me to see it's condition quite often. I have been a cleanliness and organizing freak since my teenage and have been trained since young not to throw trash on the road, save electricity and water immediately when not in use, clean up after myself, speak respectfully to everyone, be polite in public places, etc. by my parents and some of my teachers. So I hope to contribute in some way towards my city, country, and planet as well...just like Indore and Surat ❤
Absolutely the most needed video to all the indians 💯💯
"Humare desh k log k paas degree to he but education nhi" Mohak that line just sent shivers down my spine! So damn true 😢
As a teacher I truly believe that this should be inculcated in schools desperately. It’s the need of the hour ..
Which school teacher u are from? And state
As the quiet kid in the class, I'm so sorry for the behaviour of my species. Despite the fact you people should get respect, students give as much respect as a grain of sand on the West Coast.
I'm happy to say that my school had inculcated these values in me. It's a school run by Anglo Indians and cleanliness and civic values are taught everyday. Makes me appreciate it more now, since we practice what we learn and I've always done those habits as a habitual routine. Wish we all can become better and make our country a better place.

As a proud brown indian wit a giant red pimple on forehead🇮🇳 im disappointed about our people and country😭😭💔💔. Our india 🇮🇳 is the 4th strongest military and 8th strongest economy, and look at our cities, streets, road, and houses 🏠. Its undeveloped and poor like Africas poorest town. Look at Singapore Taiwan and korea, they arent in the list of these caterories but their cities are clean, developed, and futuristic. Most of us are uneducated and we need to fix that. Our people think our India 🇳🇪 is the best perfect country with no problem and that is #1 in everything. We think india 🇮🇳 is superior than other countries and we dont admit our problems or the truth. when people talk about our problems, we get angry, blame pakistan 🇵🇰, assume everyone who talk negativ about india are pakistanis, make fun of other countries, and other religions 😒🌍 and start explaining how the world isnt complete witout india. We also act like our India is the only country that invented stuff. Usa 🇺🇸, china 🇨🇳, and japan 🇯🇵 is a very developed, modern, futuristic, clean with insane 2050 futuristic cities 🏙️ and well educated country but they dont brag about their country being developed and advanced. Instead, they focus on their studies and countries and wish other countries to do well in the future. We indians are complete opposite. We brag about our inventions, india 🇳🇪 being 2nd in having worlds hardest exam, 4th strongest military, having 2nd biggest UA-camr, basically everything 💀 we get so jealous other countries success. Its sad 😢 we will never change wah🥺

A friend of mine from Australia came to visit India. He visited several times and I felt ashamed when he directly said to me that people have no civics sense. Garbage thrown anywhere. People pissing and spitting gutka in the wall corners.
He said every open place in India is a license to shit, spit and whatever you like. You people worship Ganges but when he went to Haridwar, he was astonished to see the condition of the river - full of filth and pollution.
It's all true and a shame.
I mean we also worship women; looking at their plight, he should have connected the dots way earlier.

Problem is not in India but in many Indians there is a massive difference
India is its people, as for any other country on this planet.
What's the point of saying this? So you can claim India is all good, but it's just the people that are doing bad things? Another excuse to not have to accept that your country can do something wrong.
