I'm excited for and have high hopes for centur-ion. Not even the ocg had access to both calamity and the new support plus they can totally play shifter now so yeah
Ice barrier runick will be a solid runick variant lol. Without baronne they can toad on the 5th summon or herald of arc light on the 3rd summon. (While still being able to do the usual draw 4 combo with the ice barrier engine.)
I have a question, isn't Nemeses Corridor going to be jammed into lot''s of decks? 1 Card Collossus going first is just beyond insane isn't it? I've tested multiple lists and the requirement for having that 1 banished monster is met by almost every deck I tested as well. Would love to hear your opinion on that
Any deck that can play sp can meet the requirement But the decks that can play it have to already be highly consistent and get a banished card, so smth like mannadium which is basically a 3 card combo deck, lab that can't banish their own stuff or swoso who locks themselves into wyrms can't play it, just some examples
Runick Generaider is the only variant running around with access to an Omni now, yes? It's recyclable too, which is nice. The deck lost baronne but baronne wasn't really being made anymore iirc and losing baronne doesn't make the engine that could make it much worse in the deck besides dd sprite ig (Most lists I've seen only care about making ib after she got unbanned too)
Finally, a balanced C. Gives you a turn 1 chance but also gives ur opponent a chance to play around it. Combo decks have sth to fear but also a chance to win. This is gonna be so GOOD for the game
As a hero player. I agree that the deck is basically unchanged with a 3rd mali. But when it comes to Nib we can play around better not but does depend on when someone nibs. For the most part we can usually play around nib since we have so many extenders
The extra body allows the typical combo to end on Plasma/Angel along DPE DarkLaw Neos Wingman without needing AHL opening. But this is super greedy anyway. The big buff is playing through Nib much better, as well as allowing you to stack your deck with Denier and then use Liquid since there was only 1 body missing for that combo to allow you to "cheat a search" for Plasma. Additionally HERO traditionally plays very well into removal but can struggle with negates which also remove like Baronne.
hey bro i would like to ask you which deck is really a s tier in yu-gi-oh master duel right now with the new ban list is it still fire king snake eyes best? or is it purelly? which one is really best between this 2? i hope you will answer me thank you
If we're talking about releasing cards to use as generic packages, we should unban Drident at some point. Literally just ban Ratpier and you're fine to bring Drident and Barrage back to 3.
Where would Yubel be on the list? I could see it in either on the unsure/unchained or getting a slight win with the deck having to deal with less negates
As much as I want Shavara to be 2 or 3, it would be so strong when it comes to using it in a yubel deck as an engine. Being able to run a 50 card yubel that has so so many starters and extenders even after nib would be crazyyyy with Yubel. After Yubel gets phantom I think is when we will see Best Red Doggy back to 2 or 3 :praydge: 🙏
I'm curious if dragon link doesn't shift towards using more Dragunities synchro heavy builds, or rank 8 builds using Horus, Chaos, and maybe even the new Galaxy Tachyon cards
Kashtira defo is in the losers bracket they lost Barrone, summon limit and antispell all of which you'd go into in game 2 or 3 if you went first to play around board breakers
I don’t think Dragon Link is 100% dead, but I do think it’s going to change drastically. Losing its omnis means that it’s better to play the deck as a grindy midrange deck that makes Seals every turn and draws cards with Regained.
Honestly I think Exosister is a winner because the deck does enjoy having the sixth card and running board breakers which this allows more though it’s a loser cause Nib playrate goes up…
Josh I’m gonna have to say that I think centurion is more a winner then most, reason being yes calamity is still around but also, the new support allows it to pivot to a shifter shell as well. There’s a 2-card combo to calamity-lock under shifter. Any combination of Bonfire/Trudea/Emblea Oath/Pot of Prosperity + shifter is full combo.
I think my localss runs with Marincess have just gotten worse because now nib is a thing and I can't consistently put toad up in time... I wish they would've freed my boy red dog...
Mannadium isn't fully dead, I've been making chaos angel with a light and dark instead of baronne. My average end boards have been 3 mat apollousa, chaos angel, another lvl 10 synchro (prime-heart, dis pater, or chengying), mannadium reframing, and whatever non engine I draw.
You know the deck is good when Josh says says he doesn’t like the deck and also that good players can still make the deck do work. Crossout designator is now essential though
Nibiru still hurts though, that only guards your synchros, you still lose a lot of your end board and you can’t make appo quickly especially if you want to cross sheep, at best this deck will be rogue but honestly it’s not looking good, especially with protos and colossus back, (note I’m not saying those will be everywhere but them being legal at all is still a big problem for this deck, colossus especially)
@@Saixjacketwe need an actual line to work with though, the simple fact is nibiru is gonna hurt a lot more now, before if you had any extender you almost diddnt care and or could just negate it, now though they can hold nibiru way longer because making apo takes a lot of commitment , at best I can see maybe chaos Angel, a second level 10, and reframing, and that’s just not good
With Nibiru becoming so popular, won't the adventure decks really make a comeback in the meta? After all, they really don't care much about Nib. I'm honestly thinking on it pretty positively as of right now.
Real question: Even if Branded has no hits on TCG and can play this unidimensional strategy, why don't they learn a bit from the Master Duel version and diversify a little? It blows my mind that in MD the deck can do so much without accessing or resolving Branded Fusion, while in TCG the deck lives or dies by it.
No the deck is plenty capable of playing through ash on brafus, he means stuff like d barrier, which absolutely murders the deck because they only use fusion(unless you are N3sh but Brandedless isn't a good variant at the moment).
Labrynth main gimmick is catching your opponent off-guard (since it is literally a trap deck), that's why it is incredibly strong in MD. But in a BO3, siding against them is the easiest thing ever, evenly matched, feather duster, cosmic cyclone, lightning storm, twin twisters, hell even MST will win you the game. And labyrinth is one of those decks that loses badly to ash (à la branded fusion) and has a don't play the game card in royal decree. Labyrinth is basically like mystic mine, it is a shitty ass deck to be against and frustrating as hell if it catches you off guard, but if it bcmes playable at any time and players respect its precense, it is basically a draw the out situation where you will win if u draw one of your blowouts.
@@centurion2396I wouldn’t say that, if anything labrynth is a deck that beats board breakers pretty well The main issue with labrynth is that the engine itself isn’t strong enough to compete what current decks do no matter how many new toys it gets, not to mention that most of the time the deck is losing to random low impact hand traps
Labrynth literaly won Ycs's that's not "barely doing anything", the problem is that it is just like Branded, the moment people respect it the side deck kills it, also "gets an unlimited number of custom cards" , bro wtf do you mean you must be talking about branded beacuse i know you are not calling Arias a custom card 💀💀
@@centurion2396 I wish these were Labrynth's issues. With Rollback, Duster and Storm can be hard punished. Evenly post-side where EEV is also sided in just makes me call spells during BP and leave a Daruma set while banishing Arianna with Lady safely in hand. Cosmic is indeed good but fair since it trades 1 card for another and unless you catch it before Clock is used it only hurts the grind. Royal Decree and Jinzo are useless while Big-W exists. Labrynth is a very healthy deck design, promoting interaction and being really well made for making going first/second less impactful. The only issue it has are some degenerate lingering floodgates that should have been addressed long ago in the banlist. IMO Dbarrier > DDG >>>>>> EEV Having a weakness to Ash Belle and SP are all good countermeasures so it won't ever be the undisputed best deck. But still it doesn't lose badly to Ash if you just play Uchained. The technical plays it has will always make the better player win, if you get enough experience playing/facing it you can observe the difference between a good and a bad pilot are night and day. Meanwhile performing a typical snake combo is trivial despite also being skill involved in playing around stuff. Midrange decks by design punish over-extension and or mis-sequenced plays.
Orcust has tops from last format, now that we have better ratios, we can try and play it again. Horus, Horus bystial, and Horus adventure are all acceptable

Centurion also just has the ability to play a lot of ignorant cards that don’t hinder its gameplan at all, due to the support they’re getting, I understand this list is for post banlist(and for Raleigh and such) but especially after LEDE the deck benefits heavily from the state of the game
I'm trying to get into the TCG and I have no clue what deck to try starting with in this format, especially with how expensive I find certain staples like S:P and Thrust are right now
Its kind of crazy that ONE card like Nibiru can impact the whole format and be the difference between a meta deck and a rogue one
Tbh with Protos being unbanned, it's probably gonna be even harder for Vanquish to play agaisnt certain matchup. Now they just gonna get the stray shot of Protos calling Fire and there goes your Razen and Jialong
I think the uptick in Nib use is gonna be really exploitable in the coming YCS's for low to the ground decks that dont play into it and decks that can make Appo on summon 5
Would love to hear your opinion on that
It's been a thing in both Masterduel, and OCG forever and sees 0 play. It is not good.
Any deck that can play sp can meet the requirement
But the decks that can play it have to already be highly consistent and get a banished card, so smth like mannadium which is basically a 3 card combo deck, lab that can't banish their own stuff or swoso who locks themselves into wyrms can't play it, just some examples
also if you dont play cupid you’re essentially wasting an ED slot because there’s no other way to search it.
also a meta that everyone is playing imperm + veiler your colossus isnt that good
@@B-slug veiler does nothing to colossus
Runick Generaider is the only variant running around with access to an Omni now, yes?
It's recyclable too, which is nice. The deck lost baronne but baronne wasn't really being made anymore iirc and losing baronne doesn't make the engine that could make it much worse in the deck besides dd sprite ig
(Most lists I've seen only care about making ib after she got unbanned too)
No there is still plants and voiceless running around
Raidraptor goes crazy rn. We love a board breaker format. And now we can colossus and or Protos as well with 2-3 4k towers
Yeah evenly does nothing we still have a tower
Runick White Woods can turbo out Calamity and Crystal Clear Wing Synchro. Baronne is not a big deal
hey bro i would like to ask you which deck is really a s tier in yu-gi-oh master duel right now with the new ban list is it still fire king snake eyes best? or is it purelly? which one is really best between this 2? i hope you will answer me thank you
Fire king support isn’t in master duel so that version of snake eyes doesn’t exist lol
The pure SE version with omega loop 2 and Dispater/ Flamberge IP seems very strong
My mannadiums are dead and idk what to do to bring them back tbh :(. Baronne is truly one of the hardest nerfs to this deck konami could have done...
What do you guys think of now VS playing Protos? I was kinda juggling the idea of playing Eschatos already but now that Protos is back, I wonder
I think R-ace might be a winner because it doesn't loses hard to colossus which may became relevant in this format.
Accel synchro can play under nib. Rev synchron is great too makes monster negate on 5
If we're talking about releasing cards to use as generic packages, we should unban Drident at some point.
Literally just ban Ratpier and you're fine to bring Drident and Barrage back to 3.
Where would Yubel be on the list? I could see it in either on the unsure/unchained or getting a slight win with the deck having to deal with less negates
Now that Dragons lost their Omni, maybe give us back Elpy, I promise we or Tenpai won’t abuse it 🤗
Tenpai defo wont. Who needs that bs, when you can just win quicker.
@@mulldrifterz6469 so you’re going to tell me that going first, Tenpai couldn’t build a better board with Elpy
If you’re playing a board breaker deck do you side hand traps for branded??
As much as I want Shavara to be 2 or 3, it would be so strong when it comes to using it in a yubel deck as an engine. Being able to run a 50 card yubel that has so so many starters and extenders even after nib would be crazyyyy with Yubel. After Yubel gets phantom I think is when we will see Best Red Doggy back to 2 or 3 :praydge: 🙏
Additional Delicious is actually massive. Pretty much guarantees noir and OTK consistency.
I'm curious if dragon link doesn't shift towards using more Dragunities synchro heavy builds, or rank 8 builds using Horus, Chaos, and maybe even the new Galaxy Tachyon cards
Thunder Dragons 🐉 let’s go!!!
I think he's underestimating thunder at minimum as an engine. It can do more than just make colossus
I just spent $250 to finish my mannadium deck the day before the new ban list hit to realize it just died.
Heroes can now make a more powerful endboard. Dark Law + DPE + Shining Neos Wingman + Plasma
Nah their endboard's gonna be Primal Being Token
@@jerobasangan3386 that's what I'm saying, a stronger token = stronger endboard
@@jerobasangan3386 You still live in 2021? As soon as DPE was made HERO stopped auto-losing to Nib. And with Infernal Rage this got even better.
Runick bystial can still go into dragoon in
Honestly I think Exosister is a winner because the deck does enjoy having the sixth card and running board breakers which this allows more though it’s a loser cause Nib playrate goes up…
so this video hit me hard that sharvara is still hit and gods that sucks like for the future of a deck that i am absolutely hyped for.
I think barrier is like the most evil floodgates it says no to your deck. I hope that shit get’s troughn into the trash nest banlist.

Gimmick puppet players: "oh no, anyway..."
I dont have a sound for some reason xD
Man so 3rd Malicious is INSANE in Hero. Josh talk to more Hero players. Happy to open some dialogue here.
I like this video style.
is this tierlist tuesday
sky striker runick heavily benefits from this banlist list
The fact that Water decks don't have the power to make it on these tier lists is just so sad to me :(
Mannadium isn't fully dead, I've been making chaos angel with a light and dark instead of baronne. My average end boards have been 3 mat apollousa, chaos angel, another lvl 10 synchro (prime-heart, dis pater, or chengying), mannadium reframing, and whatever non engine I draw.
How early can you make appo?
You know the deck is good when Josh says says he doesn’t like the deck and also that good players can still make the deck do work. Crossout designator is now essential though
@@AdroNiernot early enough to play around nib
Nibiru still hurts though, that only guards your synchros, you still lose a lot of your end board and you can’t make appo quickly especially if you want to cross sheep, at best this deck will be rogue but honestly it’s not looking good, especially with protos and colossus back, (note I’m not saying those will be everywhere but them being legal at all is still a big problem for this deck, colossus especially)
@@Saixjacketwe need an actual line to work with though, the simple fact is nibiru is gonna hurt a lot more now, before if you had any extender you almost diddnt care and or could just negate it, now though they can hold nibiru way longer because making apo takes a lot of commitment , at best I can see maybe chaos Angel, a second level 10, and reframing, and that’s just not good
Yes, I am on the yellow middle side, ehich is a good thing for some of us.
13:24 Hope the new lightsworn main deck cards are not to expensive wanna play it with runick
mill go brr
With Nibiru becoming so popular, won't the adventure decks really make a comeback in the meta? After all, they really don't care much about Nib.
I'm honestly thinking on it pretty positively as of right now.
What about Traptrix? I barely touch YGO, but still like to keep up with everything.
Salamangreat has been playing through nib since the new support dropped
It has been a good run with Dragon Link o7.
Salad plays through nib perfectly fine if you play the right build. If you lose to nib you either had a bad hand or played wrong
What do you think about the new Galaxy/tachyon support
Real question: Even if Branded has no hits on TCG and can play this unidimensional strategy, why don't they learn a bit from the Master Duel version and diversify a little?
It blows my mind that in MD the deck can do so much without accessing or resolving Branded Fusion, while in TCG the deck lives or dies by it.
No the deck is plenty capable of playing through ash on brafus, he means stuff like d barrier, which absolutely murders the deck because they only use fusion(unless you are N3sh but Brandedless isn't a good variant at the moment).
@@e-tan3911 So, it is the fact that Master Duel has no side deck that makes Branded more powerful there then.
@@Rofy_TVyeah, since dbrarrier is basically never a card you main since it's only good for going 1st in specific matchups
Josh here gaming the tier list content
What do you think of the adventure package for this format?
I think it has potential to be relevant again. Gryphon could be a way to replace Baronne in combo style decks
What do you think about thunder dragon?
Labrynth literally gets an unlimited number of custom cards and is never even touched on the banlist and it still can barely do anything
Labrynth is ass
@@centurion2396I wouldn’t say that, if anything labrynth is a deck that beats board breakers pretty well
The main issue with labrynth is that the engine itself isn’t strong enough to compete what current decks do no matter how many new toys it gets, not to mention that most of the time the deck is losing to random low impact hand traps
IMO Dbarrier > DDG >>>>>> EEV
Having a weakness to Ash Belle and SP are all good countermeasures so it won't ever be the undisputed best deck.
Plants is going to benefit from a more board breaker focused meta
Orcust has tops from last format, now that we have better ratios, we can try and play it again. Horus, Horus bystial, and Horus adventure are all acceptable
Runick orcust also gets better now and had tops in full power fire format
I'd say Horus Striker Orcust is better than the bystial build atm. The striker cards are just really good and Orcust can work great with them.
Thundra not even being here depressing as a Thundra player. I mean come on it at least can do work with Branded, adding titan and Colossus to the deck is at least an option you have with it.
