This is why Amber was unlikely diagnosed or being treated for BPD by her normal treating psychologist/psychiatrist. She has to be willing to divulge everything to be assessed properly and that only occured under court order bc of her claim of PTSD due to JD, so it opened the door to a compulsory medical evaluation. This disorder requires insight that is typically very difficult for sufferers to have due to the cluster of beliefs they hold about themselves and others.. Not that she's delusional, but she exists in a world where she believes she is right and if she's hearing otherwise, she's blames others or minimises what is wrong with her. She isn't accepting any of this with her face here, she has built a brick wall of denial and superiority.

It is common for people with autism to first be misdiagnosed with borderline and other disorders, even take medication when it's all wrong for them. Not saying that's the case here. But it's possible.

If you ever needed a split screen the entire duration of an expert witness showing Ambers behaviour while having those behaviour patterns explained so articulately, this was it. It's not about demonising Borderline Personality Disorder (or the other one she was diagnosed with), but to simply demonstrate in real time the way she is manifestly unable to change her facial expressions at times to mask how she really feels (superior, always right) and just as unable to portray the feelings one would expect to find during other parts of this trial (sadness, vulnerability). During the administered tests, she was found to be feigning 19 of the 20 measures for PTSD AND in addition was found to have the 2 personality disorders. It's a high standard of proof to get medical evaluations done and her claim of PTSD met that, Johnny made no such claim against Amber so he wasn't compelled to go through a compulsory medical evaluation.

AH is a very messed up person. I’ve thought since the trial started that she acted weird. Her looks, the way she looks up then down and looking right to left. Today I tried to look in her eyes as I did I could see darknesses. I also have concern about the little baby as others have expressed.
And she now has a kid....hope that the right people check in on the poor thing.
Hopefully this is a wake up call for AH and her loved ones that she needs to take a personal inventory on her method of operation on how she lives her life and manages relationships. Johhny you too need to learn lessons here so you never end up with a partner with a destructive personality.

Unfortunately people with personality disorders are not capable of Change- Personality disorders are NOT mental illness like for example , bipolar disorder. Personality disorders are ingrained in their formation / their personality. She will forever struggle with relationship issues. Ppl need to educate themselves about personality disorders or this ppl will ruin your life.

BPD is one of those disorders that can be worked actually, it doesnt qualify as true evilness like for example a sociophat, but comes from the lack of control of overflowing emotions

And, this psychologist quoted some old research. On the behalf of the psych field, I apologize for the demonization of your disorder. I know a lot is misunderstood. I know it's hard to get help. I know it's a struggle to be with your favorite person. But, don't give up getting help, keep up with your care team, and your self care. There's really good research supporting Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness meditation.
I took medicine for over 30 years. within a year of cbt and learning mindfulness I'm off meds for over two years and am finally happy at 42 years old. talk therapy and COPING SKILLS are essential!! Thank you for speaking out ♥️

My problem with this, is that she has a very public stage and her words are framed in a very hurtful tone, they demonize, and I think there's a way she could have acknowledged these points, but also acknowledged that, this isn't usually something that spurs from nothing. To answer your question, which is a good one; could you clarify if you mean for those still in, those looking to get out, or those recovering and trying to pick up the pieces?

Do you really think no lawyer is supposed to ask any questions? Learn the basics or keep your thoughts to yourself, just because you want him to get off doesn’t mean a proper trial shouldn’t be held.
