Redricepudding you don’t even need to parry champion his attacks are so easy to predict and by that point in the game you do so much damage that he’s a cake walk
Minetoutong Wyverns have two legs and two wings. They use their wings as 2 other legs and walk with them. A dragon has 4 legs, like a cat, dog, horse etc and 2 wings. This means Wyverns have less mobility on ground due to them having to rely on their wings to move but more mobility in the air since there are 2 less legs go weigh them down. Hope this helped.
It probably has to do with his leveling telling by his weapon change from both clips he was dealing massive hits to gundyr making the fight equally as hard

For people wondering why Dragonslayer Armour is so low: he was the only boss in the game that I beat on my first attempt. Also, in case you didn't know, I'd transpose his soul for the Dragonslayer Greataxe if I were you.
+RealFolkTV lol I figured someone would say that but it's the only boss I beat on my first try in my first playthrough. The only reason I don't have it lower is that I know it's supposed to be more difficult than it was for me but for some reason the bosses like iudex Gundyr, champion gundyr, and Dragonslayer Armour just played into my strengths.
Oceiros was indeed a pain in the ass without a decent shield but I managed to beat him around 3 attempts. Nameless Kind and the princes, however, really cost me 2 controllers and a mental breakdown. Never. Again.
@@justanotherblackwhitemicke7817 yes of course you can dodge but using a shield against him is undoubtely easier since he's got imo some of the most annoying attack patterns (second phase mostly) in the game so learning their dodge timing is kinda tricky
@@graysonmullikin5750 Because I died about 10 times to Princes on my first run and only twice to Oceiros? Oceiros is just annoying to fight but he isn't difficult.
I actually beat the Dancer of the Boreal Valley on my second try. I was very surprised because I got stuck on it in an unfinished run. It felt awesome.
I finally appreciate someones reasoning for the Dancer being a subtle pushover. I always seem to know when she's going to grab based on the way she moves.
it's crazy how different people struggle with very different bosses, for me in the base game abyss watchers and pontiff sulyvahn were the only bosses who took me longer than an hour to beat, I beat basically every other boss in less than 5 attempts soul of cinder absolutely kicked my ass in NG+ though. took me about 4 attempts my first time and then took between 10-20 in NG+1. top 3 bosses here have always been really easy though, I have yet to die to oceiros a single time and both NK and twin princes took 5 attempts my first time and ever since I've been killling them in no more than 3
Thank you for honestly ranking the boss according to YOUR experience...i like the usual rankings...but most of them are predictable. Each playthrough is different and i like seeing that people struggled with other bosses than the usual Nameless King, Dancer, etc...for me Aldrich was probably the hardest for some reason, while i beat the Watchers on my second try.
My list after just finishing the game as my first souls game: 25: Ancient Wyvern 24: Deacons of the Deep 23: High Lord Wolnir 22: Champion Gravetender 21: Spears of the Church 20: Oceiros 19: Curse Rotted Greatwood 18: Yhorm the Giant 17: Dragonslayer Armour 16: Iudex Gundyr 15: Crystal Sage 14: Vordt of the Boreal Valley 13: Aldrich, Devourer of Gods 12: Abyss Watchers 11: Soul of Cinder 10: Twin Princes 9: Slave Knight Gael 8: Demon Prince 7: Old Demon King 6: Sister Friede 5: Dancer of the Boreal Valley 4: Darkeater Midir 3: Nameless King 2: Pontiff Sulyvahn 1: Champion Gundyr
Oceiros is really just an rng boss for me, I'll have times where he won't stop charging across the arena, and then the next fight he just lets me kill him so I know where you're coming from
@Sam CHRISTENSEN Sorry for this, but Hawkwood in Firelink Shrine talks about Aldrich as a he, just search for this dialogue "a right and proper cleric, only he developed a habit of devouring men". And Gwyndolin is a boy raised as a daughter but i believe he considers himself a man since Commander Captain Yorshka calls him her brother.
I actually get why you put the champion so low. the champion and nameless are two sides of the same coin: champion asks you to be a good reactionary player, nameless asks you to be a good methodic player
I think the fact that most of these bosses are in the order that you encounter them, says a lot about how well balanced the difficulty curve of this game is.
Soul of cinder was definitely the hardest boss in the game for me. I just think he does way to much damage for an endurance fight. Still haven’t beaten him
Omg commentary is great and hilarious. These are all personal opinions obviously but dragonslayer armor was about as easy as gundyr for me but Aldrich was a pain in the ass, that arrow attack can be quite annoying to dodge.
Look at those memes! Not really, he probably had a different experience with both of the bosses than you. That's kind of the beauty of the Souls games.
what I like about these videos is that they aren't dumb rage videos. You appreciate and highlight details of the boss fights instead of just bitching about the boss fights. Its a lot of fun to watch!
Great list Albino! I agree with most of your boss placements and it is was very entertaining but I do have a couple of nitpicks. First of all, I heavily disagree with champion gundyr being so low down on the list, he was by far my hardest challenge in the game and also the best boss. Also, with ocerios, I will admit he's very annoying and boring but using a even moderate shield completely renders his charge useless and makes him pathetically easy, even though imo he is regardless.
+Terra Gamer I agree so much, to me Champion Gundyr is easily the hardest boss in the game. I'm in New Game +3 right now, I one or two shoted all the bosses, and I'm stuck on him since like 10 tries ! And I never died to Oceiros or Lorian, that's funny how people perceive the bosses so differently :-)
idk personally I died to iudex gundyr like 15 times or some crazy shit because of the unpredictability of his seco d form. Champion gundyr, on the other hand, was really easy for me, I killed him first try
Its really nice seeing these videos still hold up after all these years, still never got how Sunlight's videos got more attention, but aint nothing like the Stream of Consciousness 💫
Why is everybody complaining about Crystal Sage being put above Champion Gundyr? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Champ, but I really don't see how that 5 minute trip to parry-land some call a fight could ever be considered harder than Crystal Sage
@@shockgames02 idk? For second phase, if you stick behind him theres not much he can do except his tail whip which is super telegraphed. I thought he was one of the easiest bosses in the game.
Unless this comment you put is a joke you don't understand the fact that everyone is different and no one is the exact same, not even identical twins are the exact same in every aspect
Just goes to show everyone has their own different hardest/easiest bosses! My personal list would be: 19: Ancient Wyvern 18: Deacons of the deep 17: Iudex Gundyr 16: Vordt of the boreal valley 15: Yhorm the giant 14: Old demon king 13: Oceiros the consumed king 12: Curse rotted greatwood 11: Crystal Sage 10: Dragonslayer Armour 9: High Lord Wolnir 8: Champion Gundyr 7: Abyss Watchers 6: Aldritch, devourer of gods 5: Lorian Elder prince and Lothric Younger prince 4: Soul of Cinder 3: Dancer of the boreal valley 2: Pontiff Sulyvahn 1: King of storm/Nameless King
+CoNoRmAcC this is what I love about dark souls. difficulty of the game is based mostly on each person's build and playstyle. the way different people play is very varied in this game from what i've seen
+Reflex Corruptzzz Exactly. I nearly fell out of my seat when this guy said Ocieros was his hardest boss, but then I realised that mabye it's just his playstyle that made that boss such a pain for him. I can see him being annoying if you fight him shieldless since I just blocked whenever he did his charge.
+Kurtx771 true man . for m all th bosses were easy exept the dancer . hell even i defeated the final boss with only a shield on the second try ...bloodborne was much harder every boss took me a week
+looks-like-kristoff I killed dancer on the first try with two estus, but I dont agree with this game being easier than bb. I died about 40 times to aldhric, 30 times to twin princes, and the storm king seems hard. In bb I killed every boss within 5 deaths, and last three bosses were so easy I beated them all in one try.
My List would be: 5. The Twins I don't like Bosses with can hit you with a sword and cast spells at the same time. And the Healing Spell for Lorian was a dumas idea^^ 4. Sulyvahn Two Words: Like Darklurker. Sure, Darklurker had more spells and such tricks, but Sulyvahn was similar to it with his shadow. 3. Soul of Cinder Very creative weapon shifting and new patterns. And the fuckin hard combo attack in Gwyn-Form... I liked the endfight! 2. Aldrich Spells, Home Masses, Fire und Melee Attacks. Wonderful! But I hate him, because he ate the coolest boss in DS1... 1. The Nameless King Damn Sick Badass! I hate him so much. He is so powerful, his dragon is painful as hell and at the same time he is the coolest looking dude. And don't forget his awesome Fly to the boss arena :)
i have done a few sl1 runs and ociros is hardest by far. with aldrich you just stay next to him and he just trys to shank you. the twins are easy if you dont lock on and fight them a certain way. nameless is hard but he is way overrated.
I am surprised and not surprised at once that Ocieros was your hardest boss. I remember dying to Taurus demon the most in DS1, but he seems to be nothing to anyone else. It's fascinating how to some bosses are "one-and-done" to some, and Mt. Everest to others.
Watch Lobos SL1 run of DS 3, where he was raped by Oceiros, and you will realise, why he is a problem. His instant charge is just the worst thing ever. Also, Gwyn was frustrating? Gwyn was overwhelming? My friend is bad at Dark Souls, and even he killed Gwyn in 30 seconds first try.
+icecubeinferno Its weird tho. Like this dude is a veteran. And he cant beat Ocerios? I mean im average at best, and I always run a dex/str melee build similar to Sunburn. And I beat him on my 2nd try. The strategy is to literally just stay under him. It's the same shit with Vordt, Dark Beast Paarl, and any other boss like them. Cant believe Sunburned finds him so hard.
I'm sure you don't read these anymore but I've discovered that standing directly under oceiros is a good way to avoid everything. once he goes into 2nd phase, stand right under him and roll when he does anything and you should be fine.
I somehow have more deaths on ancient wyvern than I do on the twin princes. Fought both bosses exactly twice, once from timing the plunging attack for the wyvern, no deaths for twin princes
Just finished my first blind playthrough of the game and must say I agree with most of the list. Had no idea what I was doing for most of Oceiros' fight.
40% of the comments: champion is harder than crystal sage

How do we differentiate a Wyvern from Dragon?
Minetoutong
Wyverns have two legs and two wings.

+Dylan Viljoen yup you've got me all figured out bud 🙃
Dancer 8th wtf
I see that no one contested the 6th place for the Old Demon King '_'
"Fuck this stupid Bloodborne squid-backed parental guardian moose."
- Sunburned Albino, 2016
Oceiros was indeed a pain in the ass without a decent shield but I managed to beat him around 3 attempts. Nameless Kind and the princes, however, really cost me 2 controllers and a mental breakdown. Never. Again.
Shield? You have to dodge Oceiros and to be honest, I only use the shield to feel confident to dodge when facing Nameless
@@justanotherblackwhitemicke7817 yes of course you can dodge but using a shield against him is undoubtely easier since he's got imo some of the most annoying attack patterns (second phase mostly) in the game so learning their dodge timing is kinda tricky
@@brent8407 I believe he becomes easier as hell once you fight Midir, his second phase is just a smaller version of him
Bront how, HOW is princes harder than oceiros. Fucking HOW.
I always seem to know when she's going to grab based on the way she moves.
iceiros rage insults literally had me crying with laughter. brilliant :)
I like how you don’t care what others thing and this is completely personal list
it's crazy how different people struggle with very different bosses, for me in the base game abyss watchers and pontiff sulyvahn were the only bosses who took me longer than an hour to beat, I beat basically every other boss in less than 5 attempts
soul of cinder absolutely kicked my ass in NG+ though. took me about 4 attempts my first time and then took between 10-20 in NG+1. top 3 bosses here have always been really easy though, I have yet to die to oceiros a single time and both NK and twin princes took 5 attempts my first time and ever since I've been killling them in no more than 3
Thank you for honestly ranking the boss according to YOUR experience...i like the usual rankings...but most of them are predictable. Each playthrough is different and i like seeing that people struggled with other bosses than the usual Nameless King, Dancer, etc...for me Aldrich was probably the hardest for some reason, while i beat the Watchers on my second try.
My list after just finishing the game as my first souls game:
25: Ancient Wyvern
24: Deacons of the Deep
23: High Lord Wolnir
22: Champion Gravetender
21: Spears of the Church
20: Oceiros
19: Curse Rotted Greatwood
18: Yhorm the Giant
17: Dragonslayer Armour
16: Iudex Gundyr
15: Crystal Sage

7: Old Demon King
6: Sister Friede

3: Nameless King
2: Pontiff Sulyvahn
1: Champion Gundyr
Nah
How is Champion hard
Are you a caster
@@are3287 champion is hard on a low vigor build but no he isn't the hardest
You can just parry him to death. In what world is the hardest?
SoC, Pontiff, Twin Princes, AND Forgotten King easier than Oceiros?
What are you smoking?!
In aldrich's fight, I heard that it ate gwyndolin alive, and half of gwyndolin is the "Chick Wearing a Veil".
Oceiros is really just an rng boss for me, I'll have times where he won't stop charging across the arena, and then the next fight he just lets me kill him so I know where you're coming from
Did you just assume Aldrich's gender?!
MTob Aldrich was a man before he turned into that slug thing from devouring so many humans
I fuk
No he assumed Gwyndolin's gender, and got it somewhat wrong...In the measure Gwyndolin has a definite gender. lol
Yes
@Sam CHRISTENSEN Sorry for this, but Hawkwood in Firelink Shrine talks about Aldrich as a he, just search for this dialogue "a right and proper cleric, only he developed a habit of devouring men". And Gwyndolin is a boy raised as a daughter but i believe he considers himself a man since Commander Captain Yorshka calls him her brother.
"Aldrich is just some chick stuck in a slug"
Aldrich - Did you just assume my GENDER?!
Damn, I beat Oceiros first try. I’m so happy I got past him without having to suffer at his hand.
I actually get why you put the champion so low. the champion and nameless are two sides of the same coin: champion asks you to be a good reactionary player, nameless asks you to be a good methodic player
The Oceiros rant had me fucking CRYINGGGG
I think the fact that most of these bosses are in the order that you encounter them, says a lot about how well balanced the difficulty curve of this game is.

These boss ranking videos are great fun to watch. Description and laughs in equal measure.
My favourite video by my favourite youtuber. Watched it back in the day and still watching it now. I love every single bit of your content ❤
Soul of cinder was definitely the hardest boss in the game for me. I just think he does way to much damage for an endurance fight. Still haven’t beaten him
have u beaten him yet
Omg commentary is great and hilarious. These are all personal opinions obviously but dragonslayer armor was about as easy as gundyr for me but Aldrich was a pain in the ass, that arrow attack can be quite annoying to dodge.
Crystal Sage harder than Champion Gundyr, are you mental?
Look at those memes! Not really, he probably had a different experience with both of the bosses than you. That's kind of the beauty of the Souls games.
Champion gundyr is easy
Yes
Look at those memes! But the sage was harder
@@connorstaggs1691 But on SL1...... Champion Gundyr is almost definitely one of the three hardest bosses in the base game.
what I like about these videos is that they aren't dumb rage videos. You appreciate and highlight details of the boss fights instead of just bitching about the boss fights. Its a lot of fun to watch!
very witty and eloquently spoken as well as being informative. subscribed
Aldrich is a dude not a girl lol
Michael Mulligan Aldrich doesn't have a gender due to eating/absorbing women and men

+roarface1993 you died 15 times to iudex gundyr?! I'm sorry but that is atrocious for a tutorial boss.
+Terra Gamer nice opinions, man
I can hear the dark souls fanboys when he called gwydelon a girl lol
Its really nice seeing these videos still hold up after all these years, still never got how Sunlight's videos got more attention, but aint nothing like the Stream of Consciousness 💫
definitely didn’t bean ocieros first try 😬 your the goat man keep putting in work
I'm surprised you put champion Gundyr so low.
Was at least top 5 for me
You forgot the hardest boss of all, the camera.
Why is everybody complaining about Crystal Sage being put above Champion Gundyr? Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Champ, but I really don't see how that 5 minute trip to parry-land some call a fight could ever be considered harder than Crystal Sage
Try to fight him without parrying and you'll understand why people complain
This is gem on UA-cam; how have I never watched your videos before! Fantastic content my man keep it up
The dancer took me 14 hours to beat, Orsiris, 20 minutes
Oceiros was by far one of the easiest bosses I fought in DS3
I don’t get how people found him easy?
@@shockgames02 idk? For second phase, if you stick behind him theres not much he can do except his tail whip which is super telegraphed. I thought he was one of the easiest bosses in the game.
Ancient wyvern just left the chat lol
Skyrim: I took an arrow to the knee, so my adventure is over
Dark souls: That's cute
Craig Wright Filthy meme stealer
arrow to the knee means marriage
Champion Gundyr is wayyyyy harder than crystal sage
Nah
Lol champion gundyrs even easier than iudex
Mason Rose nah hes easy
Get yourself a pair of Caestus and spend about an hour learning Champion Gundyr. Then parry him. You will find that Gundyr is very fucking easy.
@@dawsonwiens4260 Are you serious? And if you are....... I don't even know what to say.
I killed Pontiff on my first try. However, it took me exactly 27 tries in Aldrich before i summoned my friend to beat her. Tough shit.
Pontiff kicked my ass. Died 13 times. Did Aldrich on my first try :D
Napkin just saying... she is a he. he is a trap (aldrich)
I didn't die more than 5 times to any boss in the game, I killed all of them. I died 5 times to Pontiff, 3 times to Aldrich.
EDIT: Beaten Pontiff on my third try in NG+ while Aldrich took me 5. Funny how things turn out..
The bosses you rank hardest by far have the best jokes accompanying them.
You know Aldritch is a man right. That's Gwyndolin from Dark Souls 1.
Wait wait wait...you consider the Champ easy but get destroyed by Oceiros?
What?
Unless this comment you put is a joke you don't understand the fact that everyone is different and no one is the exact same, not even identical twins are the exact same in every aspect
Just goes to show everyone has their own different hardest/easiest bosses! My personal list would be:
19: Ancient Wyvern
18: Deacons of the deep
17: Iudex Gundyr
16: Vordt of the boreal valley
15: Yhorm the giant
14: Old demon king
13: Oceiros the consumed king
12: Curse rotted greatwood
11: Crystal Sage
10: Dragonslayer Armour
9: High Lord Wolnir
8: Champion Gundyr
7: Abyss Watchers
6: Aldritch, devourer of gods
5: Lorian Elder prince and Lothric Younger prince
4: Soul of Cinder
3: Dancer of the boreal valley
2: Pontiff Sulyvahn
1: King of storm/Nameless King
Agree with #1 and 2
+CoNoRmAcC this is what I love about dark souls. difficulty of the game is based mostly on each person's build and playstyle. the way different people play is very varied in this game from what i've seen
I really don't understand why you put Wolnir as 9th. He is almost no challenge at all.
@@steampunkastronaut7081 Depending on dps and Wolnir rng, the boss is either stupid easy or a pain in the ass. Also that damn fog
Subscribed right after the proactive commercial... Dope vid, made me laugh the whole way through
Your Oceiros rant speaks to my very soul.
I completely agree but I would switch #19 with the dancer of the boreal valley.
Dancer is definitely not the hardest.
Honestly almost all the bosses in dark souls 3 are pretty easy.
+Aleksi Nuutila Bb dlc on ng+ is brutal as all hell
champion gundyr is much harder than crystal sage, curse-rotted greatwood or the old demonking
My List would be:
5. The Twins
I don't like Bosses with can hit you with a sword and cast spells at the same time. And the Healing Spell for Lorian was a dumas idea^^
4. Sulyvahn
Two Words: Like Darklurker. Sure, Darklurker had more spells and such tricks, but Sulyvahn was similar to it with his shadow.
3. Soul of Cinder
Very creative weapon shifting and new patterns. And the fuckin hard combo attack in Gwyn-Form... I liked the endfight!
2. Aldrich
Spells, Home Masses, Fire und Melee Attacks. Wonderful! But I hate him, because he ate the coolest boss in DS1...
1. The Nameless King
Damn Sick Badass! I hate him so much. He is so powerful, his dragon is painful as hell and at the same time he is the coolest looking dude. And don't forget his awesome Fly to the boss arena :)
You mad? Twins, Aldrich and nameless are piss easy
@@aresgodofwar0422 I am quite sure that SL1 would like to have a word with you.
i have done a few sl1 runs and ociros is hardest by far. with aldrich you just stay next to him and he just trys to shank you. the twins are easy if you dont lock on and fight them a certain way. nameless is hard but he is way overrated.
Im with u on oceiros. He pissed me off to no belief. But i finally got his attack style down and beat him my first try on my second play threw
I am surprised and not surprised at once that Ocieros was your hardest boss. I remember dying to Taurus demon the most in DS1, but he seems to be nothing to anyone else. It's fascinating how to some bosses are "one-and-done" to some, and Mt. Everest to others.
I found the knights outside Oceiros’s room harder than him. No really.
Really.
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU PUT OCEIROS IN FRONT OF NAMELESS KING AND WHY IS NO ONE IN THE COMMENTS COMPLAINING ABOUT IT
Its his opinion
+icecubeinferno Its weird tho. Like this dude is a veteran. And he cant beat Ocerios? I mean im average at best, and I always run a dex/str melee build similar to Sunburn. And I beat him on my 2nd try. The strategy is to literally just stay under him. It's the same shit with Vordt, Dark Beast Paarl, and any other boss like them. Cant believe Sunburned finds him so hard.
oliver c that's what I'm asking
hacklol everyone complained about it do your research next time
God tier smack talk against Oceiros
I'm sure you don't read these anymore but I've discovered that standing directly under oceiros is a good way to avoid everything. once he goes into 2nd phase, stand right under him and roll when he does anything and you should be fine.
oceiros really?
Yes because
Difficulty is Subjective
fking champion gundyr below tree and kistall ... wtf just wtf
OCEROS? really? ahahahaha
Thank you for calling out all the bullshit on Oceirus
I somehow have more deaths on ancient wyvern than I do on the twin princes. Fought both bosses exactly twice, once from timing the plunging attack for the wyvern, no deaths for twin princes
