I love the demon prince fight because it's less like a normal gank fight and more like a tag team wrestling match where the tagged out wrestler is allowed to throw rocks at the guys in the ring
The old demon king is actually the last of the demon race after the bed of chaos was killed no more demons could be created. Which is why he may seem out of place great vid
But I never understood; if he‘s the last demon, then why didn’t he become the demon prince upon death, and why did there still exist 2 demons at firelink shrine eons later (Demon in pain and demon from below)? I never got this
@@zigsynx5364 Lore reason would likely be that the Demon Prince was presumed dead, killed by Lorian before he took on Lothic's curse. That also probably has something to do with the fact that the Demon got split into two weaker Demons. Real reason? The Demon Prince was a cut/unfinished boss from the base game. It was called Great Bat in the files and they reworked it into the DLC, which Fromsoft does alot for the DLC's in Souls Games.
Calling the old demon king forgettable was very surprising to me. His final stand before he gives up is legendary. It's also just a tragic fight. Idk. The ranking is fine, but still
I get it why he is ranked so low but i still kinda love this fight, fighting him with ultra greatsword makes him way more enjoyable and the ending scared the shit out of me.

Slave Knight Gael was around since the age of the Gods and have fought the most bleakest of battles. Years later Gael needed a new purpose. His next goal was to help the painted girl create a new world, which soon to be called "Ash" a cold, dark, and very gentle place. But the girl needed 2 things, one to see flame witch was completed during the fight between sister Freide. And other was the Dark soul of man to use the pigment for the canvas. Gael journey's through the ringed city and leaves messages for you to follow. Gael knew he would not have a safe return. So his plan was for him to find, kill and consume the Pygmys lords and every one that wields a piece of the Dark soul cause the dark soul splits and divides to many souls and to people. Gael needed to make the soul hole again and make the blood his own. Gael knew by leading you through the ringed city and you cracking the egg would take you to the end of time to take the soul from him and bringing it back to his lady. Cause he knew this task would take countless of years and by time the he would have the Dark soul everyone will be dead. So he wants the Ashen one to take the Dark soul back to his lady cause the Ashen one can just travel back in time through the bonfires. In the fight once the player injures Gael, Gael's blood drips on his sword. Gael realizes it's not red but black. Witch shows that the player was the only one strong enough to wound him in countless eons. Once Gael realizes that he's completed his noble goal to resemble the Dark soul he hollows and the 2nd phase he stands for the first time in who nos how long. One thing I find overlooked in Gael’s battle theme is that in phase 3, you can hear a leitmotif of the title screen! It’s much faster, and the lead choir has only one voice which sounds much more desolate, but it is there. What an excellent final boss for the entirety of dark souls. Not a god, not a dragon, just a man who never stopped pursuing his goal.

I love the duality of the fact, and on top of that, you can also double parry the boss (the phantom and then him) making it so satisfying if you pull it off.
Oh man! I've never attempted the double parry, but once did dodge the phantom move and then nail a backwards parry on the real one for the kill. That felt amazing.

The absolute worst part of the Nameless King is the camera. The stupid dragon zipping around makes this fight tedious and the camera just makes it unfair.

well, fighting bosses in different ways could lead to bias and extremely different outcomes. like imagine if i only used magic against the crystal sage, where its extremely resistant to magic? not fun. So thats why i chose to be a basic knight with a sword to give the boss the most unbaised, objective ranking.
Holy shit your editing is amazing for a channel of this size! Hope you keep making videos in this style. A video like this for Bloodborne would be sick.
I personally really really really love the dragonslayer armor, of what ive played (ive played most of all of the game) hes my 3rd favorite boss. And in my head canon, the dragonslayer armor is the real Ornstein, but after the gods left Anor Londo, he was sent to Lothric castle to protect the twin princes, and act as a sentinel to the grand archives.

@@dout3716 i don't remember off the top of my head but you may be able to get great deep soul for oceirus, hes manageable at the very least. The real issue is champion gundyr. Phase two attacks wayyyy too fast for casters to be able to take him on well, only thing i can think of working would be the fast magic sword spell. Its especially hard since he goes for attacks as soon as he notices you preparing a spell
@@dout3716 oh, and when you get to dlc 2, great soul dregs is really good if you end up with spare points to put in faith. Its very close to where you first enter the dlc. Its also suprisingly good in pve, since everyone in the souls pvp community sleeps on casters. Pestilent fog (or whatever the mist of percentage health damage is called) can be used to cheese quite a few bosses as well. Brilliant infusion caestus is probably one of the better offhands you can get, as its just a nice QoL to have mana regen, and you can still try parrying with it. Yhorm is actually just a regular, non gimmic boss with casters, as it appears that he takes normal damage on his head, so just target there for maximum damage. For sister friede phase 2, you can use soul stream to shred their healthbars at the start of the phase, as they will be lined up for you The large horizontal magic sword sweep and the small fast one are both amazing to have depending on situation, with the smaller one even being both extremely mana efficient and good dps, at the penalty of very short range
Another little tidbit of lore that I also find really cool is that this entire game is Prince Lothrics fault because he was a wuss and didn’t wanna link the fire, and as such didn’t, causing the resurrection of the old lords As such, they’re technically not Lords of Cinder, only carry blood worthy to be Cinders, which is why they at no point get any new fire attacks or that embered aesthetic the other Lords get (yes Lorians sword is on fire but that’s due to the Chaos flame eternally scorching the sword after he slew the Demon Prince, not the First Flame)
I’m a bit late to this video, but I just wanted to let you know how good this is. Super well paced and the editing is fast and eye catching. Just followed 🙏

If you talk to the handmaiden in dark firelink shrine first the one in your firelink will recognize you. Confirming without a doubt that its in the past
It’s kinda sad really. He expected to become the literal champion but then he was forced to become just a judge for whoever
@@amirferdhany3177 bro thought he was him
@@Goatdir what? I genuinely don’t understand
this is a very well made video, i hope you see some success from it, you deserve it.
thanks man!
Awesome video, and dude, I really need your background loop
The absolute worst part of the Nameless King is the camera. The stupid dragon zipping around makes this fight tedious and the camera just makes it unfair.
The dragon itself last 20 seconds and then the camera for nameless king is fine
@@Slaughter_Hill I finally beat him. Once you beat him once, it is actually kinda easy lol. Just take your time and count your hits. Made him my bitch with the reinforced club
Yeah the camera is pretty bad but after you learn to lock onto nameless king and not the dragon, the phase 1 becomes a lot better
Skill issue... Its a part of the fight to learn when to lock on and when to lock off
man, how do you have so small amount of subs? your montage is so good with humour, definitely deserve more.
thank you!
This is the ranking of a new dark souls 3 player that doesn't fought bosses in different ways
well, fighting bosses in different ways could lead to bias and extremely different outcomes. like imagine if i only used magic against the crystal sage, where its extremely resistant to magic? not fun. So thats why i chose to be a basic knight with a sword to give the boss the most unbaised, objective ranking.
Bro decided to have the best editing for a small Chanel good job dude wild
Absolutely wild that you only have 500 subs, was expecting 100k off your editing and formatting. Great work man!
Your editing is on point bro! Excited to see more from you in the future 🔥
thanks! :D
Holy shit your editing is amazing for a channel of this size! Hope you keep making videos in this style. A video like this for Bloodborne would be sick.
most interesting dark souls boss ranking i’ve seen, you’re editing is great, I really enjoy your style of editing.
thank you man!
Yr'ouer*
You certainly have not enough subscribers for the quality of editing and overall entertainment. Keep up the great work!
the quality is so good, love it!
thanks :D
I personally really really really love the dragonslayer armor, of what ive played (ive played most of all of the game) hes my 3rd favorite boss. And in my head canon, the dragonslayer armor is the real Ornstein, but after the gods left Anor Londo, he was sent to Lothric castle to protect the twin princes, and act as a sentinel to the grand archives.

dude your content is so insanely good for having 2 thousand subs. actually crazy more people dont know ur name
Great video man!! Surprised to find you in all the amounts of dark souls videos out there but I’m loving it and love how you also rank their phases and soundtracks. Now I wanna see you do one for Bloodborne hopefully
sorry i have no clue about anything related to bloodborne, but i am currently making one for elden ring rn. :D
This video is very high quality, definetly a surprise from a small youtuber.
Man I love the effort put in with the editing and overall commentary of this video! Can you do a video like this one for ds1 and ds2?
thanks. i was thinking about that since this video did so well!
@@critterfarts7018 you better ... 🔪🔪🔪
Not gonna lie, some pretty fun, semi-hot takes here. Always love to see Halflight and Aldrich slander! Great editing, too, by the way. Loved the video! Personally I would have put Champion's Gravetender MUCH closer to the bottom and I will always be a believer in High Lord Wolnir being a very underrated boss.
Thank you! And yeah, wolnir can definitely be fun and underrated at times. Not a lot of people mention that lol
I just completed ringed city with my brother. It's absolutely my favorite part of the game both for the cinematics and the still strong community presence. I will never forget me, my brother, a complete random that I fought Midir with the day before and Great Door Shield Smough going into battle against Slave Knight Gael. One of my hypest video games moments of all time
Someone has to tell me where y’all got these door shields lol dark souls 3 was my first dark souls been playing it since and I can’t figure it out
I agree, it's amazing
This was very entertaining and pretty informative! Also your editing is *SMOOTH*
Pretty sure champion gundyr is in the past because if you kill the shrine maiden there, when you return to firelink ahe says something along the lines of remembering you and then charges you more souls to buy things.
yeah i guess i made a mistake there lol
@@critterfarts7018 nah not a mistake, there's so much to these games it's hard to know all the things, still a very enjoyable watch and great list!
thanks!@@SomeBadBadger
Dude your production value is insane, keep it up! :D
keep going man this was a great video
For this level of editing i'd say you're criminaly underrated
thank you so much man!
@@critterfarts7018 looking forward for new videos !
I also love how Gael yells and grunts it makes it seem like he has more to lose
503 subscribers is not fair considering how high quality this video is. Great job dude!
I will watch the top 10 later bc I have to go now, but I am amazed!! High quality throughout 37 minutes, actually funny jokes, such good editing. Definitely subscribed, you deserve to blow up man
This video is extremely high quality, im surprised you don't have more subscribers
Love seeing this shit. 100subs the video quality is that of a much bigger UA-camr. Keep it up dude
Thank you so much! :D
something i always thought was interesting about the gael fight is that it’s essentially 2 nobodies duking it out at the end of the world
edit: i wrote this comment before he literally said the same exact thing in the video 💀
haha lol
But he isn't! Wth he literally gains the title of the red hood. Well know and feared by the pilgrims. "Nobody" lol
I personally think that Aldrich is one of the best mage/sorcerer type bosses. He is not that easy and also uses some interesting close range attacks.
Tbf he feels like he exists as an anti-mage due to his insane magic resist. Very, VERY not fun due to that for me, who played a pure caster build
same bro im doing beating dark souls only with magic challenge video and is so terrible aldrich and oceiros is so bad
rn im suffering in lothric and lorian basically u need to kill lorian 4 times to kill lothric cuz i only can attack him 3 times @@sythrus
For sister friede phase 2, you can use soul stream to shred their healthbars at the start of the phase, as they will be lined up for you
The large horizontal magic sword sweep and the small fast one are both amazing to have depending on situation, with the smaller one even being both extremely mana efficient and good dps, at the penalty of very short range
hello man already finished the challenge @@sythrus
This editing was superb!! Hope you keep making these bangers for me and the boy's to enjoy ! :D
Give it to me. You know what daddy wants. :steamhappy: :D
This guy's editing deserves more credit. You need more subs my brother.
thanks :D
Dude the bosses in the second half of this game are phenomenal.
Another little tidbit of lore that I also find really cool is that this entire game is Prince Lothrics fault because he was a wuss and didn’t wanna link the fire, and as such didn’t, causing the resurrection of the old lords
As such, they’re technically not Lords of Cinder, only carry blood worthy to be Cinders, which is why they at no point get any new fire attacks or that embered aesthetic the other Lords get (yes Lorians sword is on fire but that’s due to the Chaos flame eternally scorching the sword after he slew the Demon Prince, not the First Flame)
pontiff becomes more passive when he summons his phantom which is pretty nice
I never thought I would see a Dark Souls video with Hi-Fi Rush music in the background
Your editing is absolutely amazing. Easiest sub of my life
I loved this video, the bad rats part was gold lmao. Keep it up!
Something you missed that i love is, the Soul of Cinder's death animation is literally Gwyn's.
How does this chanel just have 300 subs? this is just way to good
thanks :D
Probably the most unique tier list I've ever seen, great editing too!
Is anyone else surprised how high the deacons of the deep ranked? Wasn't high, but higher than I was expecting
This vid is really good honestly, it's a shame you're not making more videos
Im currently making an elden ring one right now, sorry it's taking so long lol
this man only has 400 subscribers yet this is the best editing I've seen in a ds3 vid
thank you! lol
dark souls 3 is the perfect example why quality > quantity
your editing is incredible
thanks haha
I’m a bit late to this video, but I just wanted to let you know how good this is. Super well paced and the editing is fast and eye catching. Just followed 🙏
bro ur editing and commentary is that of a channel with like a million subs but ur not popular somehow!? what a great video i’m praying for ur success so u can make bank 🙏

8. Friede (really good gank and amazing third phase)
9. Nameless king (first phase 💩 second phase 🔥)

14. Dancer (slightly less fun but really cool)
15. Grave tender (cool and good soundtrack)
16. Old demon king (really cool boss and area)
17. Oceiros (annoying but good lore and decent fight)
18. Crystal sage (one of the best caster fights)
19. Vordt (solid intro boss)
20. Halflight (amazing soundtrack, that’s about it)
21. Aldrich (decent caster boss)
22. Deacons (fun to chop)
23. Wyvern (boring but cool)
24. Wolnir (terrifying but lackluster)
25. Greatwood (cool my first playthrough, but the fight is ass)
Insanely well edited video!! Hope this channel blows up soon, good luck 🫶
I really like the editing on this video
Aint no way my mans using Hi-Fi Rush music in a dark souls 3 vid. I absolutely love both games
sameee
I love Halflight, the room the soundtrack and the situation
This is some of the best editing I’ve seen. ❤
thank you
bruh how do you only have 250 subs? the video quality is super good
Soul Of Cinder & Slave Night Gael are just THEM. They are the only bosses to make me open my mouth in awe.
that intro is amazing
I love your editing style
thnaks man :D
Damn bro your editing is incredible, keep it up!
INSANE video editing for 122 subs haha, hoping for more!
Thanks so much man!
though i personally disagree with most of the list, your editing is amazing, and this video is beautifully made, im imcredibly surprised you only bave 450 subs
Curse rotted greatwood being placed as high as it was is actually crazy
great editing my dude! ranking these game bosses is hard because except for the wyvern and greatwood, i enjoyed so hard the other fights. Even if i dont completely agree with the ranking, as i said, this game makes it so hard and almost every ranking is valid. keep it up
Forget the bosses bro put his soul into the video while editing, great video
Your editing is hilarious bro
0:48 You got my Sub with the Gran Turismo SFX i fucking love you
I love the editing here, keep up the good work!
thanks!
When i saw that you ( at the time of me writing this ) have so low subs i expected this video to be low tier but holy cow. What an amazing video about amazing game. One of the best videos about ranking DS3 bosses. Also please remember me when you get famous 👏.
lol thank you
curse-rotted greatwood being higher than aldrich is wild to me... this guy really seems to hate any bosses with ranged attacks
lol you are right i despise bosses that only spam ranged attacks
insanely underrated channel
thanks
this game is truly amazing. Even the Rotted Greatwood has some pros to it
woooow the old demon king wasn’t great but the worst actual boss in the game is still interesting. The attacks are telegraphed, the boss arena is a cool callback to ds1 demons and it can offer a challenge without feeling unfair to me.
edit: I’m honestly shocked the Greatwood made it as high as it did
edit: the nameless king gave me so much difficulty that am of the variety to say it’s the hardest in the base game. Phase 3 Friede gave me more trouble tho overall
