Iron king isn't the real boss. The lava gap is the real boss
10/10 from soft plz nerf. Also i know from soft didnt make the game
ya nooooo shit!
I never fell in to the hple the only rezen i lost was because I walk of the edge
@@Rahnonymous From Soft did make the game though. Just a separate team within the company.
It’s not easy to resist the gravitational pull of the iron Kong’s hole
I loved how DS2 main game bosses were really easy so they said “Ok, check this out then” and released a DLC that wiped the floor with us.
I'm experiencing this suffering for the first time right now. Finally almost done, shit is no joke
@@slxdeprod I had to get to SL 180 for the first playthrough of DLC, I finished the main game at 110 though 😭
@@bobjoe2955 funny. I'm exactly 180 right now wrapping up the last DLC. Basically done with main game outside Darklurker and Throne of Want boss run
@@slxdeprod did you fight Sir Alonne? He’s definitely not the hardest but he’s top 3 bosses in DS2 IMO.
@@bobjoe2955 yeah I took care of him last night. I'm working through the frozen section now
Dark Souls Rolling Logic: You could survive a nuclear explosion, as long as you dodge at the right time.
Sea Hitler This logic actually works with old demon king's explosions. I dodged them by rolling into it more times than I got caught by it
Japan had low agility.
I'm really sorry i got a problem with dark jokes
emanuel stornello 😂😂😂😂😂 that's great
@@emanuelstornello8009 oh lorrrddd
Lingering hitboxes though
...you know, i'd honestly pay to see the Last Giant rip his own leg off and fight hopping.
How much?
nah rip both then spin like a bayblade
@@Thechasinator999942 even better, still how much though?
@@Thechasinator999942 lmaooo
Dude, there's an old kung-fu movie that reminds me of. This guy fights his way through tons of guys to kill this one guy he's truly wanting to kill. The guy he's trying to kill ends up being a no armed no legged guy who breaths fire. Saw this as a kid but man, I really wish I knew the name of it.
let's all get over it
the frigid outskirts is the hardest boss in the whole series
oh and the looking Glass Knights helmet if one of the best looking helmets
Alan Weed Person is that the place I like to call Reindeer Fuckland?
@@gravesidepoet5405 yes, the frigid outskirts is, indeed, Reindeer Fuckland.
@@gravesidepoet5405 thats what i call it too
have you fought Fume?
At first I couldn't remember who demon of song was and then I remembered I just know him as Semen of dong
Nateofnathan lmao bro saaaaaame

Hmm...I don't doubt Dukes Dear Freja's placement, but tip for anyone: in Sotfs, bring a torch...EVERY baby spider doesn't Agro onto you...just lil tip for anyone.
I was wondering if I was the only one thinking that...they make it SUPER obvious in the whole area leading up to her that torches scare spiders away. Not one of them so much as touched me during the boss fight. Breeze.
Same thing i was thinking...once that torch is in hand u could walk rite up to em...hell u could even go AFK
And since sotfs you can summon a army of NPCs for Freja.
Thank you so much
Torch + double phantoms = easy fight
_"Welcome to the boss fight that put Dylann Roof in jail."_
DAMN
The hardest boss in DS2 is fume knight while high as shit and constantly shoveling goldfish crackers into your mouth with your right hand, it that's just my opinion.
Beef Patrol I don't think I've ever played ds2 high as fuck but I used to play it drunk as fuck all the time and let me tell you, it's a lot funner when you're fucked up lmao.
I played Gael and Midir while stoned out of my mind. Every new flashy attack was like magic, and whenever the music signified a new change it was the coolest thing ever!
I would too but I could never beat anything.
Beef Patrol the first time I defeated him was on newgame plus
fume knight would be quite easy if he doesn't buff his fucking weapon
Quick tip: You can use Alluring Skulls in the Royal Rat Vanguard fight to distract them all while you thin the herd. You can also cut The Rotten's arms off so all he can do to hurt you is his AOE. You can also jump on top of Scorpioness Najka's back and she won't be able to hit you....Also, bring a torch to The Duke's Dear Freja, and the spiders leave you alone.
The rotten was one of my toughest fights in the game, however, the guy with the mirror was never a problem, first try and he was down. I guess difficulty depends on your build and your personal skills
Easiest boss is congregation and skeleton lords on account of the yearn - flame swathe combo making those fights trivial.
TheRagnus with congregation you can use dark fog and make them die in seconds such a joke
Commentary was outstanding
Hey man, actually hilarious. I was laughing my ass off while still enjoying and learning with the video. Subscribed!
I love it when people complain about “long” boss fights when they’re like ten or fifteen minutes long.
*laughs in Monster Hunter”
@Luis Martinez OOOOOOOOOH.
You’ve obviously never played monster hunter before lmao. The monsters that are boring die super quickly and the ones that last forever are hair raising every second of the way. I’ve fought a boss where I didn’t relax for forty five minutes straight. It’s tough, and it tests your endurance and patience.
Monster hunter has long boss fight? -laughs in final fantasy- also monster hunter boss fights or only as long as you will let it be there just akward when you have to chase them across the map lol
@@songbird6414 Well, ya see, the thing with Monster Hunter hunts is that they're 20 - 45 minutes long, but they're SUPER interesting...
...but the final boss of Persona 3 is 2 hours of doing the same thing over and over again.
@@zeelyweely1590 yeah fair enough. I’ve never played the game so I can’t say I’m familiar with it but that sounds terrible.
Yeah, mh fights take like 30 minutes
I haven't seen sarcasm so scathing in a long, long time. if ever. have yourself a sub, good sir.
''Nothing they do is particularly dangerous, but if you get hit by small things with a previously drained Estus flask you might find yourself at 1 hp either finishing them off or getting ready to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour'' My god my life is complete. That sentence was flawless..
Advice about Giant ripping off its leg did aged well 😂
6:57 wait a minute, WAIT A GODDAMN MINUTE he has a onion knight helmet (the rotten)
I just beat every single boss in Dark Souls 2, and let me tell you, the Frigid Outskirts will forever traumatize me til the day I die
Thank you for putting blue smelter demon there! I remember getting crushed by him for waaay longer than I feel comfortable admitting which had me embarrassed considering how easy the red smelter demon was.
Just beat him Tn hardest boss I’ve fought out of all of dark souls 1 and dark souls 2 so far
I got invaded in Dark Souls 1 in 2017 more than once.
“You know that feeling when you throw your head on the ground and it explodes, then you dive back on top of it. Yeah high school was fun”

Should have tried the Gyrm Greatshield +10
"Call yourself a Mirror Knight, you pretentious tinfucker," - goddammit, I lost it XD

Welcome to the boss that put Dylann Roof in jail
That killed me 🤣🤣
you have some of the best commentary i've heard on youtube god damn you're so entertaining
Me v Royal rat authority: first time playing, bad adaptability (bad agility), got toxic and didn't kill all mini rats before big boi came, completely new to dark souls franchise, not over leveled.. "Yea, I did that on my first try"
(Sorry I just really wanted to brag)
Lololol a fucking Scooby Doo on Zombie Island reference?? Holy shit thats incredible.
TTD1313 witch's ghost not zombie island
You are correct. Lol
Dark souls 2 was my first souls game and it’s mad that the last giant took me AGES.. i thought “this game is just too hard.” After probably 2 hours of fighting him I beat him and never felt such relief and satisfaction from a game before... I felt great. Then I met the pursuer. That damn bastard also took me 2 hours. However after many hours put into the game I then realised how easy these bosses actually are and I got fairly good. Only now just got dark souls 3, so looking forward to getting deep into a souls game again.
I also struggled with last giant. Mostly because I didn't realize that he has multiple lock-on nodes. I was always staring at his feet and couldn't see his attacks lol.
surg23 yeah man cos he’s so tall you could rarely see it coming 😂 but it’s amazing how to a novice or a newbie how hard these bosses seem isn’t it.
@@ESKATEUK Definitely. I still have derpy moments where I die to noob bosses. I feel luck plays a pretty big part in the outcome of most boss fights. Like when bosses decide to spam the attack that leaves them wide open as opposed to spamming the tricky attacks.
I think it was because of luck that I got through Gargoyles and Sentinels. :S
You just got a sub all because of the commentary of the last giant.....had me fucking rolling.
damn, ive beat this game twice and there was at least 5 bosses on this list that I never even knew existed
Duude you are so funny, its almost a pity I just found you now! :D
The way you roasted these bosses just made my day
Sunburned albino deserves way more subs his jokes are amazing
Just got into dark souls and came across this vid. You cracked me up the entire time and you remind me of bo burnham my favorite comedian so i love you already
i enjoy how in every intro starts him with sounding like hes 20 feet away then gets gradually long
someone actually thinks the covetous demon isnt the weakest? you literally have to try to lose that fight.
also greatly surprised by how high up the list the ruin sentinels are
Rezuvious fuck the ruin sentials
The Sentinels really gave me trouble as a sorcerer. They were right at the point of the game where I started to get better at dodging and leveling my character and 3 bosses at once (I kept falling off the ledge) was too much for me. Took me at least 5 attempts.
I'll have u know that this filthy casul (me) died from covetous demon from his fat rolls ;).
they are really hard if you face them early
It's funny that you talk like this isn't a completely subjective experience.
22:36
Looks like Sunburned Albino's IWAE hasn't been perfected yet
Damage type means A LOT. I usually go for the Blacksmiths hammer, upgrade it 2 times, make it raw and it can crack open any plate armor type enemy.
The way he just explained the old dragonslayer is 100% how I feel about it and it's actually kinda creepy. He is my favorite boss in ds2 just cuz it's a fun fight
I just finished dark souls 2 , and even though , i did not encounter darklurker or the twin alva tigers , i outta say i am proud to have SOLO , the blue smelter demon as the hardest boss in DS2
Your ancient dragon strat is terrible.
Just stick to his claws, but not under him. Punch them, but keep some stamina to dodge when he stomps. When he flies up, run towards the shadow of his tail to not get hit. Use Flash Sweat and keep it up so you'll easily survive the fire when you fail. Then it's just patience, but not as much.
This is hilarious. Thanks for keeping me entertained while I grind out my 30 bell covenant kills for hidden weapon.
I fucking lost my mind on the Iron King wtf...died like 10 times
Mr D was it cuz of the lava pool?
Mr D Lava is the hardest boss in Dark Souls 2
the lava pit is the real boss
fuck that lava man
Mr D hes easy its just that his arena is bullshit
Pretty good list. The hardest boss for me was Sinh. he kept breaking my weapons and honestly I just wasn't prepared for that.
The old dragon slayer ISNT Smough. un sub
Shoot, I took the bait
i throw my face on the floor and dive down to scoop it up again every morning. i love your sense of humour
I know I'm late, but in the Scholar of the First Sin you can bring a torch to get rid of the spider problem
FuZiion_DragonSlayer I’m later so don’t worry
Sorry but how exactly is the rotten easier than the dragon slayer? The slayer is one of the first bosses in the game and I thought the rotten was quite difficult he killed me like atleast 4 times
his list is bad thats why
rotten is very predictable
Rotten can be pretty fucking annoying with the tricks he pulls.
Dragonslayer is kinda predictable at the end of the day. A 100% physical shield absolutely neuters any attack that ain't the ass crash.
Rotten would be #1 if thise little tiki statues in his arena shot poison just like the ones outside.
I'm not kidding. My first playthrough, The Last Giant is probably top 5 death counts of all the bosses I encountered.
Blue smelter demon was definitely my hardest boss.
I preordered the game and everything. I also bought SOTFS. I am just now doing the last two DLC's. Was loving the Brume tower ( I think it's called that) I finally got to Blue Smelter Demon, I had prepared myself knowing the hate around the boss, the runup is so obnoxious. It doesn't help that the boss itself has obnoxious hitboxes. I was really enjoying that DLC, but it ended up ruining my mood for my 100% run of DS2.
"clip his toenails" had me rolling
You don'T actually need a shield for chariot at all. Roll through the wheel spikes to dodge them or do the alternative kill by using a bow the whole time.
10:36 WTF THEY LITERALLY WERE SINGING THAT IN THE MOVIE WHEN YOU SAID THAT
Smelter demon tip buy charcoal pine resin and use that you would think he would resist it but it works
I thought Fume Knight would be impossible with my bulky build, until I saw the light of adaptability. Leveled it up a few times and Fume Knight was a breeze (and every boss after it). Dodging apparently helps.
I never focused on adaptability but still beat every boss. *painstakingly.*
Loading screen hints be like: "things without blood dont bleed."
Or
"Knights who died being burned are weak to fire"
Vendtick IS an old man on life support
Good stuff man
What’s that curved blade left hand weapon you have paired with the Rapier?
That's one of the boss weapons from the Flexile Sentry. You take its boss soul to Straid and then boom, Warped Sword.
Zombie Vendrick has my number, pretty much every time, especially if I don't have all 5 giant souls. He jumps backward a lot, and the arena is kinda small, so when he gets you into a corner, it's best to just wait til he's done... =/
Looking Glass Knight is usually considered one of the easier bosses, from what I have heard. The Ancient Dragon is a war, lolz
I don't want to be a party pooper, but Demon Souls and Dark Souls 2 has the easiest bosses in the series..
Ds1 DLC and DS3 DLC is where its at..
Thanks to this, my hope against Raime is renewed.
"Aava is a easy and fun" the cap police arrested the man a few seconds later
I disagree with the list in some places, but anyway great commentary! :D
So you do think that old iron king is easier than couventous demon? And royal rat vanguad? This dood have some serious problems in the game.
The real boss of DS2 is adapting to the clunky controls after playing all of the other souls games and then this one. To be fair the controls are clunky on all of them except maybe Sekiro. But DS2 control just feels weird. Funny thing though. Dragon Rider is the only boss I have died to up until Royal Rat Authority :D he knocked my ass off
Darklurker does very little damage if your dark resistance is over 800. That guy doesn't inflict physical damage, just magical and mostly dark
The two smelters we're pretty much the same for me, cuz I use a shield build.
Are you John mulaney, no seriously, your voice, your jokes, your delivery. Did I miss something, is this John mulaney?
I don’t know how to feel about this list after learning you struggle with the royal rat vanguard
To be honest I had trouble with royal rat vanguard but not with any of the dlc bosses except fume knight and the blue smelter demon
I've fought the looking glass knight twice on separate playthroughs and killed him first try on both. I used maybe 4 estus across both fights. He felt ridiculously easy to me.
I will say though that I used firewall settings to prevent ds2 from connecting to the internet so I could play offline without disconnecting steam so that probably helped. But still I never noticed lingering hitboxes being a major issue for me
I agree with wierdo gargoyles I keep time running everywhere thinking one of them will just go or something
I'm on level 13 for giant lord to farm souls right now. I messed up and ng+Ed before beating all the bosses and now they are super hard!!!!! ALL I have left is fume knight, blue smelter (fuck iron passage), sir whats his face, and the 2 pets (that I haven't even been able to reach yet), and the old ivory king
The run back to Smelter Demon is way harder than smelter demon
This is totally messed up. Chariot is piece of cake. Also skeleton lords. While Old Iron King isn't.
LOL....did i hear " Welcome to the boss that put Dylan Roof in jail . " ? ? ? LMFAO
Yep
The giant lord IS the last giant
How could Belfry Gargoyles be easier then Ancient Dragon? No way.
Freya fight is best done with torch in hand. Torch makes all small ones docile, just freya to worry about. If u are caster, then totally easy
"skeletons do not bleed" they should, bones are what make the blood.
great game. Hope that the developers will create new version of Run 3 Unblocked on 88kgames
ok i agree that some bosses have their own way of playing like if u get a crossbow to the bell gargoyles they'll be way easier but putting Fume knight no THE Fume Knight at number 36 is disrespectful man i died 32 times to that thing and lost all my human effigies cuz i challenged myself to stay human all time while i died less than 10 times to darklurker
23:36 had to laugh so hard xD
i only died from vendtic once cause i didnt expect a boss and had 2% health with no magic
but even got him all the way down to 20% with a broken controller
wow... i think im proud of my self for beating medusa w/o removing the toxic water, not knowing i could have drained it....

took me around 30 tries though.. lol.
I killed looking glass knight and fume knight on my 1st attempt but I'm kinda embarrassed to admit that i beat covetus demon on my 3rd attempt
He really does stream a lot
Most DS2 boss attacks are "slow and predictable". It's the dumbass hitboxes that fuck you up
Man really had Looking Glass Knight over Fume Knight and Belfry Gargoyles 😂
It’s called: His opinion (Also he did beat the game)
Lemmon Boy Evans it’s his opinion (and almost all of the communities opinion) that fume knight is way harder than a weak mirror boi
@@trippyspec1759 There has never been a Souls game where the boss fight was ever harder than the way to the fight. If you want to barebones win every fight, roll - hit once - repeat. Thats why I agree multi boss fights are the hardest. Fume Knight is at the same level as Looking Glass.
@@ZhivagoBowieMifune Fought Twin Pursuers a couple of days ago. I know they're not really a boss fight, but that almost made me go hollow IRL. Fume Knight and Sir Alonne have nothing on them. Took me over an hour. Ganking is indeed the hardest to deal.

Honestly I fully understand why Cool Ranch Smelter is his hardest. He has varying attack timings, a ton of hp, he hits like a truck, and to even get there ya gotta go through Gank city
I didn't know Irythill was a part of DS2.
Iron passage was far worse than Irrithyll could hope to be
Christian Townsend True. I'm just joking at how bad the gank factor for PvP is in Irythill. Thanks From for ruining the most fun online activity in the franchise.
I sat on the opposite side of the room from Mountain Dew Voltage Smelter and shot him with a bow while the 10,000 HP NPC summons distracted him for the entire fight. So that was fun.
