It looks really nice until the battery dies then how much it is going to cost for replacement /repair and how long will it take to get it fixed. Where can you go to get a diagnostic in case of any problems /defects?
I bought a single speed version with 65 gear inches. Lucky thing is that I counted the chainring and rear sprocket and reckoned to be 70 gear inches. Corresponded with Hummingbird bike. It took couple of weeks to be rectified to the correct gear inches. It was a frustrated and inconvenient experience. Disappointed.
Someone could still take the entire bike even if they couldn't use it they might not know that and they might still steal it why no belt instead of a chain? GPS is a privacy issue but it could trace a stolen bike..
Hello, I'm interested in getting a Hummingbird e-bike. I live in NYC. Because this bike comes from the UK, there are regulations that limit speed. Is it true that in the UK, the law for a 250 watt motor maximizes at 15.5 mph pedal assisted? If you pedal faster than 15.5 mph, the motor cuts out? This is awful. The motor should stay on and if you pedal faster then you go faster. If the motor cuts out at 15.5 mph that's terrible. There's no way to make the bike go 30 mph. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Unfortunate rookie error there with the rear wheel spoking, being “almost” radial. My view is based on being a mechanical engineer for 40 years, and a bike wheel builder for 50 years, including e-bike wheels for the past 5. Even if you are using heavy gauge spokes, the mechanics of applying torque through radial spokes is just wrong. I see such disasters far too often! Also, what is the weight, to be the lightest folding e-bike in the world?
Four and a half grand,we'll call it near five grand ....the half just makesit sound cheaper than five... What a joke of a price ,where do they get there figures from ,people are struggling with fuel cost and cost of living at the moment, inorder to entice the working person to invest in one ,they should reasonably price it . I have seen e bikes at halfords in uk starting at around six hundred pounds onwards, there are some folding bikes which include all mud and chain guards ,all in with the price
These things would be lethal for a parachute type regiment...do 50k then yomp....lot of guys moving fast...nothing g the Japanese sussed that in ww2 but you could jump with these ...and yes I have seen the old mini motorbikes....but like drones these could change things....cos tanks have had their day clearly..
It's nice but! 50km range yet distance in the UK is in miles. Now I know cyclists use Km however for a (non cyclist) looking for an Ebike to commute or leisure you're not talking your potential customers language.
Nice backdrop to the video...
FOUR AND A HALF GRAND 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
30 mile range is impressive 🏴🇬🇧
Not a prayer
All-in-one hub motor, controller and battery... nice!

Roll the bike backward with 1 revolution of the crank to get a accurate gear ratio 🏴🇬🇧
Smart bike for a Dumb price tag!
It’s would be even better if you had anti burst tyres on the bike

I wish the chain was fully inclosed
That would be cool.
Yep, an enclosed chain or belt would not only look better, it would last longer too.
Sorry am I missed something. So if your phone battery 🔋 run out .does the bike lock 🔐 is self.
Let Sam Pilgrim test it out 👍🏼
Hilarious price 🤡
I'll stick to my Brompton and not overspend!
If you can’t work it out in your head its 30 miles.
Would like to try it out on my carbonfibre motor glider pleae
Can I get mud guards for the bicycle?
A necessity in the UK.
Small wheels, nightmare over potholes.
I can't see how it calls folding bike

Hello? Hummingbird? Are you there?
No mudguards nearly 4 grand. Jog on
£5k .... ouch!

On the look out for an eco drive bike. Love yours but whats with the cables.
Come on now!
Absolutely not necessary.
Cables are simplicity itself. I like the K.I.S.S. principle, a lot!

Ride your bike up to a tank and let us know how you get on…..
