Thank you , would not imagine they are available at the moment especially to ship to the UK in Cornwall but it’s a great idea
Nice review!
Brilliant review. I think you are the only one who understands that a longer, flat fold is much more suitable for tight, standing room only buses and rail cars.
I have always been curious about Hummingbirgd nike. I bet its nice quick commuter
Excellent product very useful to traveling
I love this bike i want it for my bday
Meu sonho!
Será que o pneu não acaba?
This is so cool the only douw side of it or iwill said is the tayer is two slim fro the rest is very nice
I was thinking, why haven't I heard of this bicycle before.
I was thinking of making similar diy brompton like frame. I wonder the reason they didn't fold the frame...?
This must be one of the most expensive bike I ve seen. Is it even economically viable to produce this.
This bike is also produced by Prodrive. Like WRC Prodrive
How can you review the bike and not mention the ludicrous price?!
Go watch Ferrari Lambo reviews no prices are mentioned usually
If you have to ask you cant afford it. Thats pocket change for Rich people who its aimed at. Technology will come down to cheaper bikes in the future, like you get with Formula1 Car Technology.
@@itsfahys this is nonsense, a lot of people can afford 3-5 grand, especially if it's their main mode of transportation.
It's still important to ask the price as some bikes are cheaper and offer more features.
Millionaire or homeless , everyone still wants value for money. Price will help with comparisons with other bikes.
This quote is b.s i
The reviewer don't dare to mention the price as it is the major downside of this bike.
Just get a TERN VERGE X11 and stop messing around
Is is good at climbing?on rough asphalt?
Why this color?? Are there any other options?
Why is it I can't find any pics of this anywhere that show the thickness of the bike when folded?
Exactly! I want to know the dimensions when folded.
Wait did I miss the price or did you not say?
$5,500 LOL
I can understand the need for stiffness and therefore no hinge on the frame, but what's the point of a folding bike if it doesn't fold SMALL?
It folds effectively just as small (if not smaller) than any Tern or Dahon bike because it is so flat.
@@nycewheels What are the dimensions of the folded bike?
Great weight - that's what I'm looking for; lightness to reduce shoulder strain. However, it is too long folded to fit in that gap next to a London tube carriage door or a London commuter train door.
What's the wheel size?
Imagine putting a BBS02 on this.
Oh man I might do it .
it will fit the hummingbird 16" wheel?
@@vortex_711 The bbso2 goes on the bottom bracket. It's a mid drive motor.
@@TheAgentAssassin how it will fit with the belt drive ?
it will fit with belt drive
the gocycle is the ebike to beat.
But it is not the lightest folding bike in the world. The A-bike City weighs just 13.5lbs, with 8 inch wheels. I have two of them and there is only one big issue: The rear wheel bearings do not last long. Otherwise, it folds to about 28 x 15 x 8 inches with a very easy fold and fits in a duffle bag. The A-bike is by no means a performance bicycle and so I wish Hummingbird or someone would come up with a truly light weight and compact compromise that would use smaller wheels (no need for huge 16 inch wheels on a folding bike), carbon fiber, and a superb ride.
No need for 16 inch wheels? What is the point of a bike being tiny if its hell to ride on bumpy roads and slower than a pregnant slug? Even 16 inch wheels are no good in pot hole city where I live..
@@fender1000100 I agree with you, it was 4 years ago when I wrote that and my A-bike is no more. My current bike is Savadeck 14" carbon frame folding bike at about 1300 bucks now, but I got mine for about 900, so lots cheaper than the Humingbird at over $4000. I think the Humingbird is fantastic but expensive and I wish either of them had preferable belt drive for lower maintenance. The Savadeck is smooth riding and responsive, but not as good as the Hbird.
Nice folding bike but I think that I would rather have a Counterfeit version or a knockoff version.
how about long distance range and going up hill
Forget it. Bikes only good on flats for a few miles. On steep hill it will kill you.
I’ll keep my 6 speed Brompton 😃.
I'll stick with brompton it's practical folds smaller than this
£3,945.00 😁 😁
so $5225 for the bike. so the decision is to buy a used compact car or this bike
$6183.24 (electric)
foldable but not affordable, lightest but not thinnest (like if move)
At British pound £1= $1.73 Canadian Hummingbird will cost over $6,000in Canada 🇨🇦. I could buy a used Vespa motor scooter for less
What a load. Brompton for mr thanks
$3500 = No Thanks. I will Wait for something that will also-allow me to Eat & Pay Rent.
Not the lightest in the world. You can customize even an aluminum-alloy Fnhon Freedom to weigh sub 6Kg.
Not very light for a small bike
no mud guards, you just asking for a wet ass. I dont like the thought of removing those peddles it just opens the possibilities of losing them when your carrying the bike around, this design is not a patch on the Brompton
The perfect bike is never really made. If this folded exactly like a Brompton then we might just be close. Why on Earth that folding mechanism
Overpriced for the price of this bike you can do a lot better
it's lIgHt
I hate when people make comments like that without giving examples. Got anything to add to that?
Brompton @@canadianroot
@@thedexterbros Brompton is also pretty expensive. The e-version is super pricey. What makes a Brommie better, in your opinion?
@@canadianroot Brompton is the same price as or less than hummingbird depending on the model. They are a few pounds heavier but they're still in the top three or 4 for lightest folders, and they fold up smaller, are proven to not lose much value, and are apparently some of the sturdiest bikes that exist including non foldable bikes.
Overpriced
🤣😂🤣 £4000 for a BIKE , you can get a fantastic cargo bike for that price
dumbest comment I've read in a long time. What does a cargo bike have to do with a light weight public transport friendly folding bike? Thats like saying 'you can get fantastic air conditioner for that price'.
For the price of a Hummingbird, I can take Uber for the whole year. What’s the point? Good riddance. It’s a flunk.
Blah blah blah
