You can buy an electric motorcycle for same amount. The price is ridiculous.
DMNC sure is expensive.
You cant lift a motorcycle over your head or fold it up and bring it into the office, train or your home. I wouldn't pay what they're asking but its a premium product with a niche.
So what. Its a completely different product, dont be silly. You cannot take an electric motorcycle on the train, it requires a motorcycle license, has parking restrictions, you cannot take an electric motorcycle into your house to charge, etc. etc. the list goes on and on, might as well compare it to a banana.
If it costs over $6,000 Canadian . I could buy a nice Vespa gasoline scooter for less

I have 3 cars I paid less for... combined...
My Honda Civic cost me £500. I've had it for 3+ years now with minimal maintenance. My carbon Giant bike cost me £1,600 12 years ago and a set of carbon wheels £500. To get a similar thrill from driving a car would cost me significantly more than £2,100 however.
I couldn't bring myself to spend £4,500 on this electric bike.

Far to expensive for most but maybe nice for eco-aware rich people.
For £300 you can convert any cheap bicycle in to electric bike. That is what I did to my 2 bicycles.
Omg the price is ridiculous. I think the price should be $2,500 to $3,500 max.
The price actually isn't that bad for an almost full carbon fibre bicycle
It may be the lightest e-bike, but that price is definitely not the lightest 😅.

What i miss these Reviews is what maxload capacity these e-bikes have because i weigh 115kg most e-bikes i researched that don´t need a licence plate and insurance here in europe can´t handle this much

One Fifth the price of a basic Model 3. Buy ONE Basic Model 3 OR - Five of these bikes.In context, the bikes are affordably priced. Like a Tesla, the Hummingbird bristles with technology - ALL out of sight. Folding - Big. Actual Light Weight - important. Controlling features with pedals - very natural. Fitting one in a hall closest - OK, but just folded in the hallway - the BEST. BTW, charge it with a Tesla? Will it fit in the Frunk? Tesla and the Hummingbird are natural companions...

Hello, I'm interested in getting a Hummingbird e-bike. I live in NYC. Because this bike comes from the UK, there are regulations that limit speed. Is it true that in the UK, the law for a 250 watt motor maximizes at 15.5 mph pedal assisted? If you pedal faster than 15.5 mph, the motor cuts out? This is awful. The motor should stay on and if you pedal faster then you go faster. If the motor cuts out at 15.5 mph that's terrible. There's no way to make the bike go 30 mph. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, I'm sure his girlfriend likes it, but there are other much more reasonably priced folders, with gears to get you up the hills, and of a similar weight, on the market. Bicycles are already a very efficient way of getting around cities, without complicating them with electric motors and batteries. This bike would probably be at least 10 lbs lighter if it was just a single-speed or three-speed.
Also...carbon-fibre is not environmentally friendly. Steel and aluminium are much better.

The price kills this bike! He never really says what you would use this bike for… Other than the designer that built it wanted to make it for his girlfriend to go on the train! Sorry I’ll take the battery out of my fold sport And I’ll take it anywhere!! I guess something unique?

Lovely bike, exactly what I am looking for. A light weight, good looking, foldable ebike for communting. I don't mind spending a chunk of money, but unfortunately that price point doesn't compare well to getting a black cab...every day.
