Loved making this! I have high porosity hair which constantly stays dry. However once I’ve started incorporating the DIY’s my hair has been so much softer and properly moisturized. I really appreciate the work you do to get these videos out here.
You are so welcome honey
Ooooo gurl that grease is bomb. One thing I appreciate about your videos is
1. Detailed DIY's duhhhh
2. Quality content
3. I can relate to you with living in the caribbean so it helps me to see how extra I gotta be with my hair when it comes to dealing with our humidity lol
Keep up the good work girl :)
The humidity is insane!
I live in West Africa with dew point in late 70s for what is supposed to be our dry season. And indoors having extremely high humidity. I don't know, i don't notice
This recipe is definitely a great replacement for regular hair grease !
Your hair is popping ! 😍💕
It really is! I have your gel lined up in my queue to watch next
@@SheReaDelSol Thank you !

It's the lecithin for me! I've always felt the lecithin in eggs was the real secret to egg/mayonnaise treatments. You're awesome and I love it! Blessings💕💕💕

I am sooooo impressed with you!! I have been following Tresses of Alexis and she mentions you a great deal! And now I see why! I am loving the DIY recipes! I Have been natural for almost 3 years and I am a product junkie ! 😂and let me say that I have spent a small fortune! And I was starting to think that I could make good products for my hair, I love to cook and bake and I’m like girl you can make something for your hair, but just didn’t know where or how to start and then boom here you are!!! You are awesome!! I can’t wait to make this and the leave in conditioner and the hair growth oil! I’m so excited!! Thank you so much!!

Wow I’m loving this grease 😍😍 u inspire me so much
Thank you so much 🤗
I am way too excited for this.
Thanks so much for watching
You are the DIY Queen!! Yess!!👸🏾
Awww thanks
Girrrl, you keep on talking about recipes, done made me hungry, fr, 🤣🤣🤣🤣, your hair have really grown and beautiful!!!
Thank you dear!
That lecithin was looking like honey 😋🍯 your pomade looks so good reminds me of one of my favs the nourish and shine but yours looks like it melts better when you applied it to your edges. Your hair was looking goodt girl! 😉
It definitely has the same consistency but it’s not sticky like honey. This grease is very much like nourish and shine for a fraction of the cost 🙃🙃
Could I use lanolin instead of beeswax?
@@wandak9607 lanolin has a very different texture/effect than beeswax. In terms of texture, lanolin is closer to a softened Shea butter+oil+glycerin mix. It goes on like a sticky pomade and is all about adding moisture/slowing moisture loss. If you were to substitute, I think it would be a bomb substitute for the lecithin (and up to 1/2 the beeswax) instead. But I’ve personally never used lecithin- mostly going off of what I’ve seen/what I know of its chemical properties
I’ve been looking for other ways to use the cocoa butter I use for baking. This looks like the perfect hair butter recipe to use the cocoa butter. I’ll definitely be trying this. Thanks so much for sharing 🌸🍃
Thanks for watching ❤️
The queen of DIYs strikes again! I wish I wasn’t sooooo lazy lol. But I might have to mess around and try to make this. 💕
😂😂😂 You not lol
Another great DIY I'll be making this product!! 💕
❤️❤️
Heyy SheaRea 👋🏽
Yess to keeping those bills paid. Skill share sounds amazing and you will be at 100K in no time. Yess I love oils on my scalp as well and a hair pomade on my strands. Hitting the bottom of that jar. Yess it's gonna be cold soon in NYC. I prefer 3 strand twist over 2 strand twist but 2 strand twist is much quicker for me. Yassss your results are a amazing with the shine and volume.
Watched in full and thanks so much for sharing this video!
Thanks for watching boo. I agree, three strand twists take forever that’s why I don’t do a whole bunch
@@SheReaDelSol You're so welcome ☺

I know im a new comer here.
I am a person who believes in gratitude. Alot of time, money and energy goes into the making of these videos, so if we can at least do one of the above, then its not just a way of saying thanks, it also helps her tells her that we really appreciate her.
I also adore the communication on here, the friendliness as well as the tips.
Awww thanks so much lovely
@@SheReaDelSol I believe very strongly in the world of Blackistan where no matter where we are in the world that we should try, support and lift one another!
I love the fact that you quite often see other UA-camrs on each others site...like your sisters showing support!
You've done this a while and I just believe your time has come!
Im waiting for my invitation to your party when you reach 100k! 😜🤗
Yass ms Sis! That shine is bomb 💣 I’ll try it soon!
I knowwwww
Its the informative, somehow entertaining, quality content for me 🥺
Thank you love
I made this adding my favorite ingredients and it was great
Yes!!! Love the Shine! Shine!! How well does it hold to high temperature climate?
The same way any grease does. You need a styler in high humidity
I’m going to try making this. I make a concoction for my daughter’s hair that includes Blue Magic & Sulfur 8 because she had itch scalp. But I think that if I use your recipe along with a little pepper it oil and tea tree oil, then I think her scalp will be good.
Let me know!
Luv luv your hair SheRea 💕💕.. DIY Queen ..girl you did it again 😊
Thank you so much doll
Girl you know I'm going to try this, it's getting cold in Maryland I need this 😍💃💃
It's going to be perfect

Yes queen!!!! Thank you 💖
Your hair looks amazing!!! I look forward to making the Grease/Pomade, once I use up my stash. I used Aunt Jackie's Quench Leave-In, Oyin Handmade Whipped Pudding and the Mousse Def ---and styled in 2 strand twist last night. Looking forward to the take down tomorrow.
I hope it’s bomb boo
You got me at " I'm from the Caribbean" SOLD! Great content.
Thank you love
2 a.m. when I got home from work and I was like yes it's about time she posted this!!! Thanks love!!!
I’m only one person 😩
This is just marvelous!! What would you recommend be used to wash it out? Does it wash out easy? Thank you for such great content!
It does. I've been using it for months
This definition and shine though omg 😍😍 I would definitely make this if I wasn't so lazy 😂
You and everyone else lol
Lovely as always.
Thank you love
Luv Luv your content you have a beautiful personality I am never bored and always learn something from you especially when you go against the grain there are no rules thanks 🙏
Thank you so much!!
First, your editing is BOMB. Second, I guess I need to try some DIY cause this turned out soo good
Thank you darling
Finally send some to Antigua..👍🏽❤ shine and definition looks great.
❤️
Come through skill share! Me and hubby signed up after your last collab and he uses it more than me haha
Yay!! Glad yall enjoying it
Very informative
No problem
Great video and thank you for the recipe. I also like to apply a growth oil to my scalp. However, I would think that since the grease is only going on the strands, do all those ayurvedic herbs make a difference if you left it out of the recipe? The scalp needs the herbs the most.
I also didn't think that you could put anything else on top of the grease sealant. Could you put the mousse before the sealant and still get good results?
❤️❤️❤️ will be trying this and tfs
TFW!
You’ve done it again!! Have you tried added btms to hair grease? I’ve added btms (in leave in concentrations) to my hair butters/grease and it changed the game
I haven’t! I do plan to try a curling cream with beeswax, btms and water but the simpler diys do better on my channel
SheRea DelSol that’s def true, I more so meant on the side, strangely the btms grease mixture are good at refreshing my ends included perm rodded ends so you should def look into it, love the content girl!
@@FuturistJae Thanks for that encouragement. I'll try it. You got a recipe?
What's a btm?
What percentage do you put in?
Thanks so much for your help.where can I buy the lecithin please
Thanks
Your hair is the bomb. I am sure going to try this out since I am not a fan of Grease. That shine is dope. I am not so good at 3 strand twist yet but will keep learning 🙈🙈🙈
They’re easy once you get the hang of it
Lady, I'm from St.Croix and your accent drew me to you. Your content keeps me subscribed! I have a question: Do you use any oils or 'grease' on your scalp?
I use oil on my scalp. I have a video on my hair growth oil
Awesome recipe! Thank you 🥰❤️
Would I be able to whip this or would the wax make it harder to whip?
I've never tried it, but I doubt it. You'd have to use less beeswax
Curls were popping girl. Im such a lazy natural but I wanna try this.
It's literally so easy
YAAAAAYYYY!!!! MUAH! 😘😘 Thanks Hunty! ❤️
Always welcome!
My favorite Diy cousin at it again..lol tfs
TFW!
Loved it!!! How often you use it?
You can use as often as you like. 1-2 times a week for me
Beautiful!
Thanks!
I’m definitely gonna try this ❤️ love it 😍
I have locs and have been looking for something to retwist with that’s gonna hold but not too too hard.
I think I might try it with avocado or murumuru butter though - I’m also low porosity but when I was loose natural, both cocoa and Shea butters were way heavy on my hairs.
And I think I’m gonna try an alternative to the beeswax - olive wax I think 🤔
Let me know how it goes!
Omg finally thank you!
No problem ❤️
Your hair is flourishing! Great twist out. My transitioning hair does not like 3 strand twists. Or maybe its my technique. I cannot get uniformity within the individual lock of hair.
I only did braid outs when I transitioned from heat damage
Oh ok. I did 2 strand twist outs initially. My 1st braid out was a fail!! 🤦🏾♀️ My friend who is a natural OG encouraged me to try again and I did eventually. I have been getting better results recently.
Can I use Shea butter and mango butter ?
Can lecithin be used on the scalp? I should ask can your hair grease be used on the scalp? You and your family stay blessed and healthy
Yes, it can but I usually use on the hair
God Bless u Doll. U have an extremely attractive spirit.... beware of the vampires. I’m almost sure that you are very aware of that bittersweet gift. People like you remind others that we indeed have a higher power by your kindness & fairness despite the circumstances. I truly see myself within you. However, I am still happily under construction so you are an inspiration to me. Blessings to you, beloved. You are so appreciated!!

Woooow! At this rate, will I need to purchase hair products anymore!!!? Godsend 🙌🏾
I really have shown every step in the wash day lol
You did that!
I’ve been LOVING 3 strands twists! I’m actually getting better at them 🤗😉
They're the best!
@@SheReaDelSol Yours came out beautiful! I’m going to try less twists this weekend too, lol

Love this DIY!! Do you share with those of us state side where to find the ingredients? I have to cocoa butter but need to know where to find the rest. Gorgeous twist out!! Too cute!!😊🙂❤💗

Would shea butter work in place of the coco butter?
