    I use a very similar recipe that I use as a prepoo and it is the truth, I add flax seeds and it's a bomb combo. I also leave my prepoo overnight and even after using clarifying shampoo my hair stay extremely soft and manageable.

    I halved the recipe and used this as a pre-poo! Added honey(instead of glycerin cause that's what I had) Ashwaganda and Amla Powder and Avocado Oil. This was amazing and set the tone for the wash day. Thank you for sharing and shared with my friends.

    Great recipe, and one I have all the ingredients for. Here's a tip for freezing. Freeze in an ice cube tray, then put in freezer bags, so you only have to take out what you need weekly! I can't wait to make some!

    This was amazing I just did it and my curls were so soft and defined I didn’t use coconut oil I didn’t have any I used hibiscus oil and Palm Christi oil. It was sooo good like I was shooketh even when my hair air dried it was so soft and defined! Love love love it thank you so much. I purchased stuff from your Amazon links so you can get some coins. I now feel confident to make your fenugreek aloe prepoo now.

    You can also blend the oats before adding liquid and it will be a smooth soft powder. Blended oats is what Mary Kay face mask began with.

      There is, colloidal doesn’t have the kernel (which is harder to grind up nice and smooth), and many company mix mineral oil with their colloidal oatmeal-so don’t consume it.

      @@SheReaDelSol you can put a banana and add a penetrating oil to make it a deep conditioner. Olive oil is the cheapest penetration oil where I live.

      Coconut oil is a penetrating oil too. This is a mask but I just used it in the shower. It doesn’t need banana but of course, more ingredients take it up a level

    I do a very similar recipe but I add amla and I use hot water to blend the oats and amla. I wait until it cools completely to strain it and it’s that same thick texture that you get at the end 😊

      @@SheReaDelSol yes for some blenders it may not be good. But as long as the blender’s big enough and isn’t filled to the brim it’s ok and there’s less risk of it causing pressure to build. Plus I don’t use boiling hot water, just hot enough for the oats to expand. Remember, people purée hot soups and sauces all the time

    I lowkey want to eat your diy 😂but your hair looks good! & this past wash day I didn’t use a denman brush, I used my hands like you do to detangle and I noticed a difference. Less shedding and more clumping 🤩

    I am surprised it took you this long to try oatmeal. It's amazing. Great recipe by the way I gone have to try it someday. If anyone here doesn't like DIY's (like me) then you should try Asha+Miel Etsy Shop. They have Jamaican Black Castor oil and Marshmallow Root 4 in 1 detangling conditioner + styling cream that has Oat Water in it as the 5th ingredient and the slip and moisture is great. You can use it multiple ways and a little goes a long way. The only reason I am not doing this DIY is because I need to use up everything in my stash first including my Black Friday Haul that hasn't arrived yet.
