Yes but I like to kick it up a notch, add some slippery elm, marshmallow root powder, and I use sodium lactate instead of glycerin. Only I use mine as a leave in because I refuse to rinse out our such goodness. Fenugreek will remain as leave on in my hair. With some hibiscus tea baby the moisture and slip is bomb diggiity bomb 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

SheRea DelSol lol 😂 gurl I like to go all the way. I add a little butterscotch fragrance to it if I can. Maybe because I use the seeds fenugreek has that maple syrup or curry type scent

C S sodium lactate is similar to glycerin but better. It holds more moisture than glycerin 🙌🏾 and it’s great for people who are glycerin sensitive

I tried this and added hibiscus to mine. I loved the slip, how my hair looked and felt after rinsing it out, I just loved it! But I used it as a prepoo so as soon as I washed my hair with shampoo I regretted it instantly. All the softness and goodness was stripped off🙁. Next time I will use it as my deep conditioner instead. Thanks for sharing this DIY recipe.

I started my hair journey last year. I have been really getting into Ayurveda and I have been doing fenugreek and amla tea rinses on wash day. I tried this 2 weeks ago and wow. I really really enjoy it as an overnight pre-poo. Started another batch today for tomorrow night. Love this recipe. Thanks and keep them coming. Love ‘em. Doing the Ayurvedic oil next.

Great recipe. Fenugreek works wonders. I use fenugreek seeds infused in and aloe vera juice as a refresher spray, I have little to no shedding and my hair stays hydrated

@@mzprettyeyez74 I take about 1/2 cup of fenugreek seeds and put them into a mason jar and then add about 1 1/2 cup of aloe vera juice and pour over seeds and let them sit overnight. I then strain it into a spray bottle. This will last me for about a week or two and I use this to refresh my hair. I've noticed that I have way less shedding and breakage.

So I made this yesterday without guar gum because I couldn't find any and y'all even after I finished deep conditioning, my hair was still defined and stayed detangled. Thank God I made alot.
My next DIY would be the hair growth oil. *Can't thank you enough!!.
By the way I used the actual aloe Vera plant and it turned out just right.

I had everything but aloe vera powder and guar gum BUT I made it work. I substituted the AV powder for moringa powder and added everything else. Doing this as a pre poo and leaving the rest for a deep conditioner. My hair, right now, feels so soft with the pre poo in it. Thanks for the mixture

Tried this recipe yesterday. Best hair wash day ever. I made it too thick but no problems. It went on easily and i left it in for 8 hours. Washed it out and my hair felt amazing. Just made Shampooing much easier. Thank you.

Got mine ready for tomorrow’s wash day. I used amla & aloe vera though. I also made some cleaning bars out of zizyphus and I’ll probably use different DCs from Soultanicals or Honey’s Handmade throughout my next few week’s wash days. I purchased their chebe almond milk conditioner I need to see what that’s about.

I know this is a few months old but I'm going to try this as a deep conditioner and sit under my heating cap for an hour (if no one bothers me). I love that you try to answer every one who leaves a comment. Not many youtubers bother with answering us. Maybe going forward in your DIY videos you can mention how long the mixture will last in the fridge, and what you can replace an ingredient with, as I've seen these questions asked repeatedly and you answered each one! The patience of a Saint! Lol

I use fenugreek with aloe vera and then also add rosemary tea with a bit of oil mix coconut, castor, olive and rosemary. I use it as my daily moisturiser.

Just tried this after taking out 2 month old twists🤦🏿♀️ This stuff is great and made my hair so soft and hydrated. Also used that Soultanicals detox and when i washed both out my hair was softer than when I rinsed out my DC. Will continue to use this. 5 stars from me!

I made it. My first diy hair product. I also added a tablespoon of raw unfiltered honey. The slip is great. Detangling was a breeze. It was easy to apply. Con: My hair smells like a Grenadian market (I'm grenadian so ...). I'll see if my hair products can mask the smell. Hoping so. Otherwise, great stuff.

I used fenugreek powder on my hair before and I loved it, but the syrup smell is so strong that people said they smelled pancakes every time I came around them lol. I want to get back into using it though.

Baby, that prepoo looked scrumptious, I'm making this ASAP!😍 I made a fenugreek deep conditioner last week and I loved it. I got the recipe from another UA-camr by the name of NowIAmNappy, check out her channel if you haven't already. I don't care for the scent of fenugreek, but the benefits outweigh the scent. The same goes for neem oil, it's smells so bad but it's a great herb. I see them nails sis, nice!👍👀
