  • Messianic Understanding Passover Matzah Holder, Mottel Baleston Teacher
A basic explanation and demonstration of the Jewish Passover Unleavened bread holder, the Matzah Tash, the three sheets of matzoh bread, and it's use in a traditional Passover Seder. Most importantly, we show how the three loaves, with the middle taken out and its body broken, is a foreshadowing of
the sacrifice of the greater Passover Lamb, Messiah Yeshua, Jesus of Nazareth
Speaking is Messianic Rabbi Mottel Baleston, who has served as spiritual leader of Messianic Jewish congregations and Fellowships in New Jersey for over 30 years. Evangelical Bible Teaching. Mottel Baleston was born into a Jewish home in New York City and attended Jewish and public schools there. He came to faith in Messiah Jesus after reading the Messianic prophecies in the Jewish Bible.
He is Director of the "MESSENGERS OF THE NEW COVENANT", communicating the Good News of Messiah to the Jewish community, discipling Jewish believers and educating Christians concerning the Jewish roots of their faith. He has served as Messianic Rabbi of a Congregation in New Jersey, as well as a Hebrew class instructor. His articles appear
in Ariel Magazine, and his teaching videos on several online venues.

As a Jewish believer…I was told by well meaning Religious Jews that I was no longer a Jew because I accepted Messiah or “him.” My response, “I’m more of a Jew today than ever!!!” He came to save Jew and Gentile!

    Matzah holder : symbolises Trinity
Middle matzah symbolises "the son" i,e. Jesus , M ddle mtzah holds the 1st nd the 3rd in unison.
Middle mrzah has stripes and pierced, which is broken ,jesus was pierced and broken .
Motzah is wrapped in cloth and burried . As was jesus.
The broken matzah was brought back from burial( resurrection of jesus on 3rd day)
Ohhh myyy myyy Rabbi Motell thank u i was absolutely had no idea of passover. Hallelujah Jesus.

Yes, the Lunar and Solar year are 11 days different overall each year, so a Leap Month is added occasionally on a complex 19 year schedule to keep the Spring Holy Days from sliding into Winter, and the Fall Holy Days from sliding into Summer. All the best, Mottel Baleston

I learned about this many years ago, and although I am not Jewish, this became the full meaning of the communion service for me. Jesus's explanation of this important meal, that every Jew knew by heart, has been so distorted over time so that the remembrance is all but lost. Paul knew what it meant when he told us to remember our savior through the breaking of the bread and the drinking of the cup.

Shalom and thank you from Australia.
I have heard of this tradition with the only difference being; when it is time to reveal the 'hidden' matzah, the task of finding the matzah was given to the children.
This adds to the joy and symbolism of the occasion as the innocents find that which is missing from their lives.
(I believe the practice of the easter egg hunt has its origins in this tradition)
All glory and praise to Yah for your wonderful teaching; in Yeshuah's name. Amein.🙏🌱

Just a few months ago I stumbled across some of your teachings from years ago with a different network. I am so glad that I have found this one. Both have taught me a great deal and have answered so many questions that I have been asking pastors for many many years. None of their answers satisfied me, but you have given such accurate truth. I only wish that I had stumbled across this sooner.
I have wanted to participate in the Passover Seder for a very long time. Alas we live in a location that has no such services available.
I will continue to follow you and have the rest of my questions answered I am sure. I so appreciate you gentle spirit, and your accurate teachings. I have shared your name with others and suggested that they listen to you. Thank you for all of your teachings. I really appreciate you. You were a suggestion that just randomly popped up on my you tube feed. It was an answer to prayer, because I had a great burden and needed to know some answers. HaShem has blessed me by leading me to your teachings. I only wish that I could sit under you. Bless you and may you have a blessed Passover.

Probably one of the oldest sermon on Pessach, still around today:
    Melito of Sardis’ On Pascha.
Melito of Sardis wrote this homily between A.D. 160-170. He was Bishop of Sardis, one of the cities addressed in St. John’s Revelation (Rev. 3:1). The text reveals that it was a liturgical poem preached during the Paschal celebration.

I thought the newest understanding was that Joseph was not so much older than Mary. Rather he was of a typical marrying age, which was probably a few years older than her.

    • @messengersmessianicjewisho1058
      @messengersmessianicjewisho1058  25 днів тому +1

Well, we can only speculate based on the scant info in the Scripture, and disregard church traditions invented hundreds of years later. The last appearance of Joseph in the text is when Yeshua was 12 yo. He could have been 3 years older than Miriam, maybe alot more. At the cross Miriam is still alive, but Joseph not as evidenced by John being told to ensure her welfare.
      be well, Mottel

    • @ArmyScoutMom
      @ArmyScoutMom 25 днів тому

@@messengersmessianicjewisho1058 I totally agree with you! Catholic "church" tradition claims that Joseph was much older than Mary. They claim he was a widower, and Jesus's brothers and sisters were from his first marriage. This is also very convenient for them to claim Mary remained a virgin for the remainder of her life and never had children with Joseph. As to Joseph's early demise... Death is no respecter of man, then or now. Joseph could have been taken by disease, injury / infection etc.
I do enjoy your teaching. 🙏

For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2Corinthians3:11-18
