@@jq8974 I've actually never been to Nazareth. My family is from Nazareth and I have extended family that stayed and became Israeli citizens after 1948. But my dad was one of those who were duped into leaving out of fear of getting massacred; which was an Arab propaganda. So I was born in Kuwait and now I live in the US. But yeah I would love to visit someday when I can find the time.

Christopher and I was able to watch this from the live stream on Passover 2022. Our church is in Warrensburg Missouri. I learned so much, and it affected me in such a positive way. I have watched this explanation of how Passover and the Last Supper merge several times. I am moved each time to consider the historical Jesus and the disciples. I am sharing this video this week with my Christian meditation group as part of our Lenten reflections. I love how the seder begins with a woman lighting the candles and reciting the prayer. It affirms for me that Mary Magdalene was also present although she has been all but written out of much of the literature around Jesus. She had to be there to light the candles and to say the prayer! Thank you Rabbi for this important lesson in Christian and Jewish faith.

I found the type of bread in a grocery in the US when I was looking something to eat in NY city where I was spending the day. Did not know its name and did not know it was Jewish. Strange how things go because after a long journey I finally learning a ton of things about the traditions and learn about the real Jesus that not many and especially not the catholic like me have no idea about. @@vannahaddadif you do a bit of research, Isaiah 52:13-ch 53 has traditionally been referred by the Jews to be the Messiah (until the 11th century), who suffers and dies as the ultimate atonement (kaparrah) for the sins of Israel and the world. Ten reasons why these verses are about Messiah not Israel:
1.Consistent use of singular pronouns (him, his) not plural.
2. Israel cannot die for Israel's sins.
3.Israel never died unlike the Suffering Servant.
4. Messiah suffers for the sins of others, so they do not need to suffer for their own sins.
5.The Suffering Servant "sprinkles" many nations (Gentiles). Israel's blood was never offered on behalf of others for cleansing.
6.The Suffering Servant is depicted as innocent. Not true for Israel who is in captivity because of her own sins.
7.The Suffering Servant suffers for others sins, Israel suffered for her own sins.
8.If Israel were the righteous servant it would have been impossible for her to suffer and die.
9. If the Suffering Servant is Israel who bore the sins of the people (Gentiles), then the Gentiles would not need to be punished for their sins, but they were.
10.The "Arm of the L-RD" (Isaiah 53:1) in the Tenakh always acts on behalf of Israel, it is not Israel.

Not so fast! For, it is pathetic how men will NEVER turn to God to learn from Him alone. It is pathetic how men continue to live and think according to their sinful, accursed & perishing flesh - even Lofty Truths concerning God! This, despite the fact that God had since of old revealed how the Two are immeasurably separate - eg. Isa 55:8-9. For, if one were to turn to God they would learn that God's holy Sacrifice for the perfect atonement for the sins of the world was demonstrated at the very beginning itself - when God created the female and in the particular manner thereof! Gen 2:21-22. For in the same way she was created and symbolically BROUGHT FORTH FROM OUT OF THE MALE, by the Breaking of the Body, the Shedding of the Blood and the Entering into the Sleep of Death briefly, God proclaimed how He would Himself thus BRING FORTH HIS PEOPLE, THE REDEEMED, FROM OUT OF THE FALLEN HUMAN RACE. And, God continued to reiterate the same - eg. Next, ever since, all symbolic sacrifices not only proclaimed the First Coming of the Lord but also reiterated His Purpose. For eg., the very symbolic and therefore acceptable sacrifice made by Abel - whereby he witnessed and honored the Lord as the Firstborn over all creations - Gen 4:4. This is exactly what the then priest of God, king Melchizedek, proclaimed and reiterated when he brought to Abraham the symbolic offering of 'Bread & Wine' - Gen 14:18. Hence, only such a priesthood is called the 'Eternal Order of Priesthood' - Ps 110:4, Heb 5:6, 7:17 & 21. Just as the Lord has Himself testified - eg. Matt 26:29. And, typically, when a slow-to-understanding Abraham failed to understand the same, God had Himself taught him on the regions of Moriah that the Atonement for the sins of the world is NOT POSSIBLE by the Unholy, Accursed, Imperfect & Dead Sacrifice of the son born of the cursed seed of the Fallen Man, but ONLY POSSIBLE by the Holy, Blessed, Perfect & Living Sacrifice of the Son whom God will Himself provide and who since then is also hence symbolically called the 'Lamb of God' - Gen 22:13-14, Mic 6:7, Ps 49:7-9, Mal 1:12-14.. I have a question that has been on my mind for a long while now that has never been answered to my satisfaction. Yeshua was sacrificed on Passover, crucified at 9am, the time of the morning temple sacrifice. Correct? He died at the time of the evening temple sacrifice, 3pm. Correct? What I do not and never could understand is how did He and His disciples celebrate Passover the evening before? It was the day previous to Passover, correct? I really appreciate this - I'm a Christian in Canada and we've celebrated the Passover for over 20 years the night before Good Friday - as it has always enriched our observance of the cross. Your teaching has helped our celebration. One question, please. Could you explain your statement that the first 9 plagues did not fall no Goshen? From my reading, the first 3 did (the blood, frogs and gnats) because the Lord says in Ex 8:22 22 “‘But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the Lord, am in this land. 23 I will make a distinction[b] between my people and your people. This sign will occur tomorrow.’” He does not distinguish between them before that time. That's why He makes the statement. It's a line in the sand. Or do you see something I missed? With affection, J

The Holy Eucharist the transformed New Covenant Passover meal. Jesus drinks the 4th cup on the cross, consummating the New Covenant Passover meal.....the Blessed Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

Also I want to mention that Jewish Rabbis day where is JESUS in the Old Testament but if you see JESUS is the LORD. How many times LORD is mentioned in the Old Testament. JESUS has been there from the time of Abraham. JESUS is the one who writes with his finger , the 10 commandments and Jesus is the one who writes with his finger at the palace of Babylon king and JESUS is the one who writes with his finger on the sand when a woman was caught in Adultry. JESUS said that I AM the LORD of the SABBATH and also I AM before Moses, when Pharisees asked him who are you JESUS literally fulfilled all the prophecies physically . Emmanuel ( GOD with us) and unto us a son is given and HE will be called Wonderful councillor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting father and prince of peace, that ONLY JESUS fulfilled.
His 3 yrs ministry changed the history of the world and his own resurrection from death is the proof that Jesus was not just an ordinary man but literally GOD in flesh, who even being son of GOD humbled himself and became Son of man to save the entire human race so we ( Son of man ) can become sons and daughters of GOD through the blood of Jesus and covered in the robe of his righteous so we all can be heirs to his kingdom for ever and ever.

The passover was fulfilled in the 40 years of Israel's deliverance from Egypt when the reproach of Egypt was rolled away and Israel ate the fruit of the Lamb. That is also when Joshua saw the "Angel of God" removed his shoes because he stood on holy ground. In other words, he saw the Lord. This is the type of the 2nd exodus found in the NT, where Christ dies as the Passover, removes the leaven of sin, and returns in glory after 40 years when the old temple was destroyed to usher the church into the new heavens and earth. It's all fulfilled in 70AD, Lk. 21:20-22, Matt. 24:34. There should be no more waiting for Christ.

Then, should we celebrate Passover, such a holy day, with customs invented by the rabbis and added to scripture?
Your referral to the indication not to add to scripture is taken out of context. That scripture was written for that book - revelations. Written by John. Remember we are not to write ourselves into the books written. We are to be holy redeemed by the blood of the lamb but we live in grace. The scriptures are already written.
So are all Messianic Jews Catholic, then?

Ive been watching your shows. And thought you mite be interested in helping women in south africa. Im one of these women I and a couple of women are brought up in childrens home there for have no family and got married to bad man and left abused financially physically and emotionally. The courts are being paid to assist them and to let papers disappear. How is it deception to meet someone where they are at in hopes of leading them to the Truth which is Jesus Christ. The Passover meal has nothing to with Jesus. The Lamb's blood had nothing to do with sacrifice nor blood Atonement. In the Tenakh blood sacrifices were for UNINTENTIONAL SINS. See Leviticus!
That is NOT the Ark of the Testament. The Ark made under the supervision of Moses is guarded by the angels of God in a cave (under the escarpment) outside the walls of Old Jerusalem. The blood of Jesus of Nazareth is on the top of the Ark -- as proof of payment for the sins of anyone that believe in His sacrifice. And now, as High Priest, Jesus is interceding for repentant sinners before God the Father.
