I came here to comment that something you don't often Haelian say about Hades.
But Dan, have you ever tried doing a dash only speedrun?
I always have so much fun with Dan’s videos. He gives me new ideas for ways to challenge myself in Hades, and now with Hades 2 confirmed to be otw I am sooooo ready to watch Dan dominate a new game hahaha. Keep up the awesome work my guy!

another fun build for dash-only run is Ares' dash and a bunch of his complementary boons. with the right amount of luck, you can litter almost the whole screen with spinning blade. lol
This makes me want to try a no dash speedrun. Can you win without the dash button

I think that Achilles aspect spear would be good for that
I have at least one video on here without dashing (it's not too difficult).
I primarily use aegis and barely dash- bull rush keeps me covered and gets me where I want to go quickly, especially with the Daedalus upgrade that makes it charge up quicker

i managed to get sea storm on a supersoaker run and by god the styx tunnels never stood a chance

Hey could you do a "boonless" challenge run? Like trying to not get any boons and essentially playing around the keepsake that increases dmg if its not increased by any god?

Do you have any tips for getting sub-10 with Hestia? I've been speedrunning it the past few days and my best time is 10:42. I usually go for Aphro attack, Artemis PP, as many chaos attack boons I can get, and Rush Delivery. For hammers I think Ricochet Fire and Piercing Fire are best since they add some crowd control. Sometimes I'll try to get splash dash also for clearing smaller enemies.
Am I on the right track? I'm not sure if I need to just keep doing runs until I get lucky boons/rooms/spawns or if I need to try a different build.

Is there a reason to take zues call instead of special? Doesn't it open up more call boons that you don't want?

he uses only dash and it's doing more dmg than me using everything in my kit.
Did you manage to get fresh durian or was it frozen?
Also funnily most of my life I could only tolerate durian-flavoured things and not the fruit itself
what do you think about poseidon railgun attack with seastorm. i tried it, seemed to not scale so bueno. i even had doublestrike
It's pretty good if you have the right support boons. Razor Shoals is a must if you're doing Poseidon attack on rail. Wave Pounding is also necessary for bosses as well. I've done it a few times on Eric and on Lucifer and I found that it seems to scale better on Lucifer, though I personally don't like using that aspect.

Why your ingame clock stops on shop and on my runs clock only stop during boons choice screen?
Timer only stops for mid-shop, not end-shop.

And what about Tanatos room? In my runs while I am fighting with him, stoper doesn't pause like on Healion videos. Is it normal mode foult?
The in game timer does not pause in shops, only in event rooms like Bouldy, Eurydice and Patty. Also pauses when making boon selections and Thanatos room. I am running the game normally.

Interesting that ruthless reflex wasn’t used to give 50% more damage and protection on the dash build even though you lose one of your 4 dashes.
