Is this how you would swap art as well? Like if I want my hands to be posed as a fist, point, etc. would I swap them up using these bones or is there a better way? Thank you!
I was yelling at the screen "Scroll the timeline!!!!!" at the last part after setting up the Vbones. Now I need to do it myself to know what happens u_u Edit: ok I watched the other more complete tutorial on Vbones and know I understand thanks!
It can do that, but it's also much deeper. In a Vitruvian group you can have entire chains of bones, even entire rigs, with all their properties and contraints such as dynamics, control, target, etc. For more information, you can check this tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/oChwMaSq0go/v-deo.html
Thank you, I just purchased Moho 14 pro a couple days ago. I think 14 is huge upgrade from the previous version. Hopefully the update will come soon to fix the minor bugs. @@mohoanimation
Never got around to using that feature if I need different poses I either turn layers on or off or make smart bone that turns layers on and off like for rotation head body turns but also you could make smart bone that does this to in thorey just something I have not needed to use yet .
@@mohoanimation I have the debut version, but the Vitruvian bones tool is in the tools menu. I haven't tried to click it yet. is it just a limited version of the pro Vitruvian bones?
It some cases it can work similar to Switch layers, but with Vitruvian bones you can switch not only the artwork, but also entire bone chains, so you can also use them to rig deeper more powerful characters in ways that are simply not possible with Switch layers. You can check some of the options in this tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/oChwMaSq0go/v-deo.html
I just find it easier to turn on and off layers in the time line to change arms poses o what ever or am I Missing something Anyway I had trouble getting vitruvian bones to work seemed simpler to do it my way maybe I'm missing something.
So, this was a great tutorial (Chad is awesome), however, probably not the best example... you would use vitruvian bones in cases where you wanted a radically changed perspective of the limb, like foreshortening. I would youtube search other vitruvian bone examples, like Victor paredes video on the subject. (that would also be on Mohos youtube channel, he put it out when they released 13.5.
Wow with this function its got too easier to work with a charecter on different angle within the same rig, Now I'm gonna fight anyone who claims other software to be better than moho in case of Rigging 😁

Is this how you would swap art as well? Like if I want my hands to be posed as a fist, point, etc. would I swap them up using these bones or is there a better way? Thank you!
@@ShaneCasserly the usual way to do that is using Switch layers
@@mohoanimation okay I will look into that, thank you!

Never got around to using Vitruvian bones. Maybe I'll get to that in Moho Pro 14

I have a big problem using this feature, so much so that I doubted that I was using the original version. Can I get help from technical support?
How can I be sure that I have an original copy of this program because I am facing many problems using the color gradient feature?
how cleaver is this

Hi, I'm using 13.5 Pro, but I cannot see the LINK BONES button. How can I make it appear?
Link bones is how it's called in the latest versions. Look for "use selected bones for flexi-binding"
