    Now that you know how to use Vitruvian Bones. Check out the tutorial I just made showing you how to animate with them ua-cam.com/video/2hB7eEt87QU/v-deo.html

    I just bought this yesterday. This isn't working for me. The hand is a switch layer so when I group them the bones and the switch layer are hidden but the layer remains out. How do I correct this?

      I am a returning animator of MOHO so I know I cant help, but I am assuming that the V bones are too different than the normal rigs that we learn. if you want to keep your switch folder, keep the normal rig, but if you wish to use the V bone, then you are gonna have to make adjustments for each scene. in other words, storyboard it. plan when to make a new hand or probably choose which rig you need for that particular scene. Get it? it's part of film making that I am learning about. well, for animations that is. know what assets to use and what is needed for each scene that you plan to do and I am starting to repeat my current comment. hope this helps. when I figure out something, I'll let you know.

    Hi McCoy, love your videos. You're very good at explaining and have a great enthusiastic voice for it! Thanks for creating these. I see this last video is of two years ago, but I hope you one day come back to make more nice videos like this one!

      @@jimmykim6513 I appreciate it. I will be honest, I have tried recording a tutorial on masking - because I think it's something that could really help with designs and was really difficult for me to understand and wanted to create a tutorial that would've helped me. I've recorded it about 20-30 times but I am not confident that it's a good tutorial. I've tried recording other tutorials but I've discouraged myself from putting anything up. I always feel like I can do more and do something better. I know that sounds lame, but that's it pretty much

    @13:28 You can point-bind all the points, but Moho only knows which layers to hide with a v-bone if the layer is layer-bound or Use Selective Bones For Flexi-Binding. You can point-bind all the points on top of selective binding.

      Dang - I knew I should've wrote a script for this part. I am definitely going to release the pitfalls I've made video for v-bones. Thanks Synthsin75!

    Hello Buck, I have a set of hands as images. When I try to animate to switch between the different hand gestures it does not change in the animation. It only stays as the one that is visible. What am I doing wrong?

    Quick question, does your website have more lessons on animations too? Or are the videos from the paid courses posted here on UA-cam? Your tutorials are amazing and very useful and I want to make sure I get all the knowledge I can.

    This is great man, looking good ... buuuuutttt ... I've been saying for years, the one feature you're missing that would put you on par with Harmony, is a "peg" system, or a "master bone" or whatever you want to call it. I went back and forth with Davit years ago, did production tests, sent him the summary/report etc etc ... I know you're not with Smith Micro anymore, and dev is a huge amount of work ... but you're 1 feature away from production studios man, and I would LOVE to see you topple the ToonBoom monopoly.

    • @McCoy_Buck
      @McCoy_Buck  3 роки тому

      Hey Logan, sorry for any misunderstanding but I never worked for SmithMicro. I did take on one job as an independent contractor to create the tutorials for them on Moho 13. But that was it basically. And I agree l, I would love to see Moho become an industry standard as well :)

    hi thanks for the tutorial, my arms are not one layer they are actually a mask group because it has a shadow masked in, and im runnin into this problem that when i try the vitruvian tool it only hides the bones of the other arm and not the layer (which is a mask group) what do you think is the problem ?

    • @McCoy_Buck
      @McCoy_Buck  9 місяців тому

      Take a look at my vitruvian bones pitfall video. It's possible you have the shadow point bound. Vitruvian bones don't work if you have a layer point bound only. Hope that helps
