It is a matter if we are going to please Abba or please man and continuing our ways... I wouldn't celebrate Christmas or Easter because it is not biblical I won't call it pagan but I say if it is not biblically sound and I won't do it... I'd rather take God seriously and not put Him to the test especially after reading the book of Jeremiah

@@chuckdeuces911 The theology pretty much speaks for itself. If someone is teaching disobedience, it's because they really don't love the Lord. Like Christ says in Luk. 6:46, "why do you call Me 'Lord' and don't do what I say?". The last thing any professing Christian should do is tell ppl that it's ok to ignore what God has to say about something.

Yeh or Yehovah is not even close to being correct. I don't mean to offend you but let me explain why and I'll give you a very detailed understanding and even give you further sources to track down the truth and please don't say "it's my truth and that's why I say it that way." So basically we know in the OT especially that the Hebrews and Jews named themselves after God. It was either in the beginning of their name or the end of their name. The place they lived and cities they built usually did the same thing. The geography for where they lived like mountains or rivers also. Let me start with everyone's favorite use of the name Yeshua.. We know that the Ye is supposed to be the first two letters of the tetragrammaton to mean God is salvation and if you look up Yeshua it will give you that definition but it will also say the root is yasha. Yasha means to be save, to deliver. Even worse, Genesis 38:2 is the name of a canaanite father, his name is Shuah. Shua means to cry out or cry out for help. So Yeh-Shua would mean God crys out for help. Now this is the interesting part. When you spell out Isaiah's name in Hebrew and Joshua's name in Hebrew, the name he had after Moses added Yah to it. It's the exact same name except Joshua's name is spelled backwards of Isaiah's name. Isaiah's name in Hebrew tranliterated is Ya-sha-Yahu. If you spell that backwards minus the Yod from Ya you get Yahu-sha. Yahusha is the name of Joshua after Moses added the Yah. Joshua's name was Usha or Osha then Moses added Yah from Yahuah or Yahweh. Yehovah is far from being right because ancient Hebrew never had a V. They say it's Vov but Vov is modern Ashkenazi Yiddish. So it can only be W,U,or O.. Do this for your own proof. Google search EVERY prophet or OT character whose name ends in iah in the bible like Isaiah, Obadiah, Hezekiah, even Matthew, and see what the transliteration of their Hebrew name is.... Every single one of them have Yah or Yahu in their name just like the Israeli prime minister Netanyahu. Yah, Yahu, or Yahuah is God. I'm 100000% positive. I disagreed with it for years until I couldn't look past all.the evidence.

@@chuckdeuces911 I don't think you have a firm grasp on the concept of transliteration or the etymology of biblical Hebrew names. It is nothing short of childish to claim that the way someone else in the body transliterates a Hebrew name into English is wrong. Remember that your primary source of information on this subject, the Google search, wasn't around 2,000 years ago. Sacred name doctrines are in fact sinful because they are adding to Torah.
This is actually a good video on contex. I argue with some who claim one of the Prophets is taking about the Christmas tree. But in context he is speaking about pagan idols that they decorate. A way they serve their gods.
Jer. 10:3-4 specifically mentions a tree being cut down, taken from the forest, set upright, and decorated, just like what ppl do now. A person would have to be extremely dishonest to pretend that the Bible doesn't mention all of the favorite heathen traditions that predated Christ's birth.

Yahuah and Yahusha...If you want to know the true name of God the Father just google every OT name that ends in iah like Isaiah, Obadiah, Hezekiah, Zechariah, and see what their Hebrew name transliteration is... Isaiah's name in Hebrew is spelled exactly the same as Joshua's Hebrew name but in reverse and minus the last Yod. Isaiah's Hebrew name is Yashayahu and if you spell that backwards minus the Yod it's pronounced Yahu-Sha which means God saves or God is salvation. It's ironic that the prophet who speaks the most of Yahusha prophetically shares the same name in reverse. The bible commands that the children born into the service of Yah bare His name. That's why everyone's name is Yahu or Yah either in the beginning or end.
Yahweh is a paganized form of His name. If you only knew how corrupt the ESV, RSV, LSB, NIV, and most of everything. Even the KJV has some bad translations but thats just an accident or mistake but their underlying text, the Textus receptus is pure. Yahu'ah, I am he who breathes life. Like the Ruach is the breathe of Yah. Weh is not Hebrew in any sense, it makes no sense in their language but especially modern Hebrew is corrupted because groups like Rockerfeller and Rothschild who aren't Jewish have hijacked the holy land and the people. Rothschild is the remnants of the knights templar. They are that ancient mystery religion, Babylon the great.

I was informed it's a religious practice and I told the person that I'm not practicing a ritual or worshipping, I'm working out, but then I stopped because I felt it was a stumbling block to several friends and family members... What I know is that if a tradition has roots in the worship of false god's of the nations, per se, is pagan, than it's fruit IS NOT HOLY. That should be enough for a Worshipper of YHWH and follower of Mashiach to not keep those traditions.

Honor they mother and father has nothing to do with Pagan holiday Mother and Father’s Day. Honor you parents simply means show them the utmost respect. Mother and Father’s Day are rituals used to worship Pagan gods. Celebrating any holiday that originates with Pagan gods is violating the first and most important Commandment “thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

Sayings it's June or Sunday is the least of your problems. You buy and worship other things that you either don't know or let go. Calling Saturday, Saturday is nothing. Your comment is hard to read so I don't really get what else you're trying to say but the google chrome logo is a 6, 3 times in a circle. There's no problem numbering the days of the week, but numbering the months in the Gregorian calendar is problematic. The first month in the Gregorian calendar (January) is not the same as the first month in the Hebrew calendar (Aviv/Nisan). The Hebrew year begins at the new moon when the barley begins to ripen (Spring), which correlates with the Gregorian months of March-April.
I see no issue using the Gregorian calendar just to function within the modern world, as long as we use the Hebrew calendar to observe the feast days. While the days of the week and months of the year in the Gregorian calendar are derived from the names of pagan deities, the names of the days and months are in a different form. We are not honoring the false deities by using names of days and months to refer to days and months. When Messiah returns, those of us who serve him will revert back to the Hebrew calendar, so we should begin recognizing it now.

The food I eat is very healthy. I do not eat take aways especially not Mc donalds. I think it's a sin to eat that sort of food. Also my phone is a dumb phone, and I don't drive a fancy car. So I think i'm free to say i'm definately not a pagan.

If one has the spirit it should be obvious that is not accepatable food for a christian to consume just ask Anetta reader, even if it is technically biblically clean. The oils and production of the food is far from clean it's dirty and destroys the body/temple. I have a dumb phone, of course it's not a sin to own a smartphone I choose to live as simple life as possible. Simple and dumb I maybe, but I prefer that over all the rigma that comes with those easily trackable hackable devices.

This is so stressful. I feel like I can't do anything. Everything is rooted in "paganism". Money is rooted in paganism, algebra is rooted in paganism, thr days of week/months of the year are rooted in paganism, christmas in rooted in paganism, heck, even worshipping together is rooted in paganism. This is so exhausting. I feel like giving up atp. There's no point in trying to avoid EVERY SINGLE thing that is rooted in paganism. I'm so tired of this. I just want a clear peace of mind without all these worries.

More scripture surrounding the topics of debate would have been good for this video. We see the use of jewelry in the Bible. When they plundered the Egyptians they took lots of jewelry and eventually made golden calf and tabernacle from that. Prodigal son got a ring on his finger. Joseph signet ring, etc. We dont know which finger but we can conclude that wearing a ring on your finger is okay. Does that mean a wedding band is bad? I feel like it does more good than harm. Reminds me to be faithful and shows women im taken. Thoughts?
Jewellery itself isn't an object of paganism unless rooted in that at its source.. by which some foreign/witchcraft spirit is sought to attach itself to that object in substitute for God or a blessing charm. In the case you mentioned, it is in the use of it that made it pagan around the worship of a golden calf.
Basically, all pagan worship is bad according to the scriptures (both torah and the church's new testament). I do not say it to condemn anybody from a pagan culture i.e. since it has morphed into some collective cultural pscyche in many parts of the world.
So in part I am just speaking here in an education manner to enlighten.
The Mosaic 10 commandments written by the Finger of God are pretty black and white in clarity. "Take no other gods before Me" and make no graven images as an idol to worship, even to represent Me in worship - the I AM God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob said it. So pagan worship is wrong worship. Also we are to put away useless sacrifices as what God is after is actually our hearts; a renegerated mind to honour Him. Carnal minds/thinking are pretty much always at odds with Him.
You worship a different name as God. (jesus or yashua) You worship a different form as God. (man or flesh) You trust in a different work.(dieing on a cross or resurection) You trust in the words of men. (gospell or letters) That makes you the very definition of pagan.
The Rabbis said: His name is "the leper scholar," as it is written, Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him a leper, smitten of God, and afflicted. This referring to Yeshayahu 53:4: "Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted." Regarding 'the words of men': we are all guilty of trusting the words of men (our interpretation of Shaul's letters, rabbinical teachings) over G_d's words. Regarding 'trusting God's salvation': God's words thru Yeshayahu 53:12 speak of a man who in place of Moshe "...bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." Are Christians guilty of honoring this one who God sent to bear the sin of many, Messiah ben Yosef, the suffering servant, over G_d Himself? It is possible. Does that make us pagan? No more than anyone else who elevates the words and traditions of man to the negation of G_d's words and commandments. Be careful to not give Ha'Shatan a position to bring the judgement of a pagan on you who accuse others of paganism. But rather stand in the gap for all of us on Day of Atonement, and gain a position of intercession for us, that we all may see truth and be set free.

Jesus/Yeshua HaMaschiach came from His Abba (our 'Father God') and has filled me with Love from the eternal Yahweh God; humanity's 1 true and living Creator God.

Today’s Christmases and Easter’s ext are not even remotely close to what they looked like to pagan origins. They reflect Christ now (if you let them.” Even some atheist don’t celebrate the above holidays because they don’t believe in God nor Jesus. So you’re choosing to look the same as them by cutting it all out in my human opinion. How’s that good? God makes beauty from ashes. I believe that He allowed some of those holidays to be converted to glorify Himself. It’s not like He has never done that before and won’t ever again. He is the same yesterday today and tomorrow. The Bible also says that God knows our hearts. He knows our intentions. When I sing Christmas Hymns I’m singing of the truth, the birth of Christ. When I’m filling my son’s Easter eggs and baskets I’m singing praises. I do my best to keep my heart aligned with His in celebrating his birth and resurrection. I’m not hindered by some people’s hesitation, “he wasn’t born on 12/25, eggs are evil at Easter because of pagan roots ext.” Eggs are a symbol of life. Jesus is life. Salvation is sweet. Enjoy a jelly bean while remembering Christ on resurrection Sunday. I really don’t believe that will make you doomed for hell. And there is a lot of good that comes out of Christmas. Giving and loving and being intentional. Just like God and Christ are. Some of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities I’ve ever done in my life had to do during Christmas time. I visited the kids in the hospital kids dying of cancer. Kids just stuck there for whatever reason over Christmas time I visited homeless shelters and I can’t tell you the good that comes out of that. You cannot convince me that God is against everything that has to do with Christmas when it does bring glory to his name especially in modern day celebrations if you, make it about him. That’s the key if you’re not making it about him, then sure he might as well call it or not of God or Christ. But if you are making it of him, he knows your heart and I doubt he’s going to send you to hell over it.

Although I do often ponder and desire to rid my life of the use this fake paper currency, l do not think that the poor could ever do this. Thus they would always be considered idolaters. But I do get why you are asking this question. And the way we use money was not like 2000 years ago. So as I understand how to be “rich/prosperous” in Yahweh’s kingdom I personally find myself straying away from the quickly crumbling man made currency and striving to use Yahweh’s creation to sustain myself

This is the worst teaching from 119 I've seen so far. It looks like an attempt to appeal to the larger crowd of mainstream Christianity to me. Why would you want to slow people down from considering that there's a good chance that they ARE surrounded by Pagan concepts and ideas? Sure, they don't have to get rid of everything, but there's a good chance that there are many things that they've brought into their house that should be cleared out during a thorough Passover cleaning.

This is also leaving out many things the pagan religions and cultures taught before Christianity. Example: Old Norse taught fidelity, hospitality, even abstinence, before Christianization. So, learning about the other religions and cultures is important.
