My 5 year old daughter loves your videos! She loves seeing toaster and even likes to pretend she lives in a van and goes to yarn stores! Will you be participating in the blue ridge va yarn crawl at the end of the month?
Thank you for sharing your day! Toaster climbing on your lap (and pink hat knitting) was adorable! You’re not a lap dog buddy! Love your Toaster door mat too! X
I loved Remarkably Bright Creatures - the only book I’ve read completely in the last year or so. Lol. I keep saying I’m going to read more - I need to learn how to read while I knit. You’re an inspiration!
That was SO much fun 🤩 thank you for taking the time to include us in your day! Did I see a sling of some kind to help toaster stay on your lap ? I’m gonna need that for Rhodi who is 40 lbs … toaster looks like maybe 26-30 lbs ? He’s so stinking cute !
Thank you so much for sharing your day and showing how you work your knitting and crochet into your day, it is always so nice to see how others find/ make the time🫶🏻
I've been to Cowgirl Yarns! I visited a friend met on Ravelry when traveling with my nephew. We didn't visit that stadium, but we did visit the Notre Dame stadium and library...wow their library is gorgeous! I've taken lots of road trips and always try to find a yarn store to visit. I'm loving your trip, it's like my dream...I am a teacher, so before Covid, I would do a road trip most summers...
I am in the middle of Remarkably Bright Creatures too - :-) I do a lot of audio books. It has been a good one! And love the socks! I am working on a variation of the Summer Fade Hexie Blanket with my Blanket of Knowledge yarn :-) Inspired by two of your connections and projects. Thanks!
Oh man my dog always lays right on my project and/or yarn. FYI I got an email and Knit House in Tiburon and you and I both visited during the Bay Area Yarn Crawl has lost their lease and are closing.😢 Minus the peas that was our dinner tonight too 😅.
I used to live in the Denver area and Cowgirl yarn shop was part of the yarn crawl. Longest drive but I think I have been there four times. My husband likes the drive. Doubt I will return though since I now live in South Texas.
I’m curious, since I’m new to your channel, I was wondering how you came up the name Toaster for your dog. Years ago my kids named our cat teeter totter, and my friends kids named their cat Shoelace. Now they’re in their mid 40’s and my grandson when he was little named his stuffed dog Chalupa. I worked with dogs my whole life , I was a dog groomer and my mother and I ran business together for years and would laugh so hard at some of the names people would come up with for their dogs. Thanks for great videos, I appreciate you
Neat to see your on the road routine. Question I am doing a hexical hat and watched you Magic video but when you are going into the crown . How do you keep this going , do you run into knit 2 together on your slip 3 stitches?. And what is a good crown pattern basic. Thanks
For everyone that knits and reads on a kindle/ e-reader at the same time how do you manage not making catastrophic mistakes? I listen to audio books while i knit. I feel like im cheating lol
The ending isn't sad and you'll really like and care for the characters. Remarkably Bright Creatures will always hold a place in my heart.

Remarkably Bright Creatures still holds as my favorite book I've read this year. It's fantastic.

Always enjoy your on the roadness! Oh my gosh was that a leveling app on your phone? Brilliant, curious which one you use and if you like it!
I really liked that book. I listened to it for my book club and kntting while listening.

Love it-my daughter lived in the tallest building in Wyoming during her freshman year.
That was fun to see! I love seeing the different ways we get our crafting time in each day.

I loved this van life edition it was so fun seeing your day, toaster and the Pink hat. ❤
LOVE Cowgirl Yarns! I stop every time I’m traveling cross country.
Have you tried the inverted method with the aero press? That’s the method I use so that the water sits with the coffee grounds for a bit longer.
I just had to comment on the tallest building in Wyoming. After your NYC views, that is so funny~
👏👏👏👏👏in my neck of the woods! I grew up in Cheyenne but live in the middle of the state now….welcome to Wyoming!!!
That mushroom bag is adorable
Thanks for sharing a peek into your daily routine and your travels. Love it!

Oh my goodness that shop looks so incredible and I absolutely love the bag!! Love Wyoming, so our next visit out west, I'll have to make a stop!!😊
I also got a bag from wandering purl. Glad you got yours.

Keep going with the book, a bit slow but a great story!
I agree, very thoughtful, well written book. Lessons learned.
