I grew up in Lynden, WA (by the Canadian border), but I live in Iowa now. I have spent 36 days in the last two months in Seattle and Lynden. My mom had a successful brain surgery but passed away on March 16. The day you filmed this we had her funeral. My mom loved to knit and our favorite store is in Bellingham, WA (Apple Yarns).

Interesting that you are visiting Kent, WA. Just found out my grandson will be moving there in July. He graduates college in May and has a job in Kent. I can't wait to get to visit him as I have never been to PNW.

Do u rent the van or did u purchase ? Do u plan to only travel a year ? Do u have a home ?
Do you have a toilet and shower on the van ?
Does the van have a heater for cold nites ?
Toaster ( love his name ) is so adorable and reminds me of my dog and we hope to do what you are doing some day (we are retired )… but we need to :
A. Find the right van or vehicle.
B. Our senior kittie needs to pass … he would not enjoy the travel .
( rhoadi so far seems to get a little car sick but I understand there are meds for that and we haven’t really tried getting him used to it )… but we know we want to take him with us !
Hi Natalie and Kent. I loved seeing the photos of the beautiful moss covered trees and the waterfall. A great back drop for you Natalie. Seeing the deer was amazing too. The yarn shop looked lovely with all that gorgeous yarn. Looking forward to seeing a full tour of the shop. Toaster is such a good dog. Love the way he gets treats and has new toys and you guys get to stay at friends houses to give everyone a break from the van. Take care driving

You were up in our area of the U.S. We've been to Port Angeles many times, crossed the Hood Canal Bridge loads of times and lived in Poulsbo when our kids were young. Great bakery and loved going down to the marina. Kent is only about 25 miles from where we live.
Good memories of Port Angeles!! The best salmon I’ve ever tasted. Straight off the boat and into the restaurant on the pier. I’ve been a Craftsy member for years. Great classes!!

Don't miss Lamb and Kid on Bainbridge Island! The ferry ride is awesome. You don't need your car at all. There is a great pizza place there that I dream of because their salad is the best! Also if you. make it north of Seattle Mt. Vernon has a cute yarn shop called Wild Fibers. They're super nice in there. Kent will like Lamb and Kid. They offered my husband and son wine or beer while they waited for me. Have fun. I just love Washington.

Enjoy watching your adventures! If you go south on I-5 there's a great yarn store in Chehalis, Washington call Ewe and I Yarns. Meg, the owner, has filled the space with ssoooo much yarn I go into overload sometimes!!! 😂

Hey! We did! We moved out at the end of June and now we are on the road full time through the end of this year!
Toaster is adorable 🐶💙🐾 he loves all treats ! My grand fur baby 🐾 drops it, sniffs it, and won’t eat anything new..until someone else wants it .. 😅
