What's the size of the screen you are getting ma'am... And how far are you sitting from the projector screen
screen size is 8*5 feet and we have placed the sofa 12 feet away from the screen

The link you shared for projector is of 1080p resolution. Do you face clarity issue with 4k videos? On the retrospective would you have gone for a 4k projector?
Yes, we use 1080p and 4k videos get played without any major issues.. No 4k projectors are way too expensive🙂

Indeed Suganth! We have a combination of black out and sheer curtains in living room and we mostly watch movies at night so that doesn’t make much difference.. we didn’t choose carpets but keeping them will be better! Best wishes for your home theatre 😊

No, it won't blow away.. if you have noticed, there is a rod at the bottom and with that the screen remains as is 🙂

Hi Scandy, no we haven't done any sound proofing.. We always make sure to close all the windows and doors when the home theater system is on and haven't had any complaints from neighbours

Mam, I want to setup a projector with 5.1 home theater. How can I connect projector audio out and home theater input , as home theater should placed near the projector screen and projector is behind the viewer seating position. There is a big distance between two. How will it be possible?

Hi Deepak, you will have to buy extra wire/cable and connect both.. We have done the same thing and wires are hidden inside the false ceiling, if you're not planning to install false ceiling you can use concealing pvc pipe for hiding wires.. Hope it helps🙂

Hi sir, yes Amazon fire TV stick is plugged into the backside of Denon receiver.. there are multiple connection options available at the backside of this receiver.. hope it helps 🙂

Nice setup but lacks a few things in my opinion like the light bounces off white walls and ceiling so the walls should be darker in color and it misses the recliners.. I like the wire management and hidden retractable screen. Well planned 👍
Thank you so much Zia🙏🙂 yes, recliners are there in my wishlist.. Went out of budget after setting this home theatre itself 🙂 our living room doesn't get much sunlight, that's why painted it white so that it looks brighter..

How far is the projector required to be from the projector screen to project 120 inch??
Hi Rajesh, A good rule of thumb for a 120-inch screen is to have your projector between 147 and 160 inches or around 12.5ft

Those wires are concealed on the wall itself, the usual way we do for other electrical wires and switch..
We made a groove on the wall from the false ceiling till the speaker and put wires inside the concealed pvc pipe

False ceiling is not compulsory, we set that up basically to hide wires since the connection point of projector was at the tv level.

For audio to make wireless, I am planning to experiment with bluetooth transmitter-receiver pair and for video- looking for some wireless video transmitter again. I am avoiding false ceiling for the time being. I will use my pc with graphics and audio card as source or avr. Lets see what comes out.

Great innovative idea! I am currently constructing my house in Bangalore but live outside India. I have setup a room for HT on the terrace with approx 14 x 24 area. I have no idea where to begin with. Can you please tell me which HT setup company/interior designer you went with? Do they work together? I am particular about the atmos, amplifiers/receives, speakers as well. So can I handpick them and let the HT setup guys to install the wiring, etc? Lastly, where can I look up on the HT seating? Would appreciate if you guide me please.

Great to hear about your new home! 14*24 is pretty good for the HT room. We installed it through the HT setup company named DNI. They have different packages and customization is also possible so that you can choose atmos, amplifiers/receives, speakers as per your requirement. We did the interiors through different channels, but I believe DNI will set up all HT related work and seating as well..

As mentioned in the video, we approached DNI systems and selected the package based on our budget.. Their package include system and installation and I am not sure whether they will do the installation part alone.. You may contact them to get better understanding

Ur rear right and left speaker position is not correct. U donot give a 5.1 surround effect because the height of speaker is wrong. Change that speaker height to ur sitting ear height position to get a better experience.

There is hardly any acoustic treatment done (except maybe couch). Your curtain is also not sound absorber. I dont think you will get the best performance of your Audio system. Ideally Home Theatre company should have suggested something.
