I think this is awesome. I can only hope that someday I will get to work somewhere like this where I can help encourage girls too.
To answer the questions as to why Dove never tries to address the boys, the answer is pretty simple when you remember that Dove first and foremost is a company that sells beauty products. Boys don't tend to buy Dove. So, they're not going to get "Patches" and all of the marketing.
I love their new ideas but, if they're trying to tell girls they are beautiful even without make up, why are they wearing so much of it?
some girls like to wear makeup cause thats what makes them feel beautiful. let them feel beautiful no matter what.

How do you know boys don't feel this way? I mean, anxiety about how they look? Could you maybe do something about them too maybe?

"Girls disengage from daily activities if they don't feel beautiful?" Why do small girls even feel that they have to be beautiful to matter? It makes me so angry. There is nothing wrong with not being beautiful!

The whole point of this was not saying "don't wear makeup" it's about feeling beautiful no matter what. Wearing makeup is no a sin. But if you only feel beautiful with it then there's a problem. Some people just like makeup it's not the end or world so long as you're fine with AND without it

These commercials are weird. Why don't they keep it honest instead of going "Buy our products because we're making little girls feel happy?". I don't care if they're helping little girls. Specially when the only reason they're doing it (or making believe they are) is for us to buy their stuff.
