I’m 41 and had my first knee problem at the end of last year - started following you guys and I’m well in the road to recovery. Thank you so much. Also been playing with backward lunges and backward diagonal lunges too!!! Thank you
The isometric horizontal pull is much needed in our seat dominant world. Everyone praises the pull-up but we see way more off set/unilateral horizontal pulling in the real world. Train to be able to pull-up but ALWAYS horizontal pull…along with reverse sled drag
It's awesome how there are so many different desirable body types! I look up to each one of you guys!! The infinite amount of possibilities the human body can achieve should keep every one of us hungry to push our limits. Sure, we can't All be 'this' or 'that' .. but we can always choose to try and be our best. -It's better that we are all unique- Loving the channel guys!
Just had this added to my gym progy to try strengthen my patella tendon it's weak and sore constantly, hoping this helps so I can get back to big lifts
My gym fortunately has a couple sleds & turf. Not sure what weight I should do but I've been using 4x45lb weights and typically pull twice for each push. Maybe 10-12 lengths. We have TRX straps which work well for pulling the sled. You can go without but straps are just easier. My husband isn't quite on board because he hasn't seen anyone else at our gym do sled pulls. He'll catch on... 58yr old female
For anyone with limited space, try using bands/door anchor. Or just anchor to a solid area or to a stack of weight plates or dumbbells. Use your imagination. Good luck.
hey bro, can you guys do a video of how you attach your straps to the sled please. I'm in a low budget gym and there's not much equipment / attachments about. Would really love to get a reply brother.. :) G.
Hey guys - I got a little creative and attached a heavy band to my power rack, then held that while walking backward & forward on my 'deadmill'. It's a bit of getting used, and nowhere near as good as a sled, to but I think it's working!
Wouldn't humans have done this kind of movement daily for farming and hunting/gathering dragging a deer carcass or plowing a field? Did we used to have better knees or did we not notice because life expectancy was so low anyway
From what the literature and history tells us, probably a bit of both. However, I'd lean more towards the natural, difficult way of living for 99% of human beings existence' made us far stronger and more resilient. That kind of work just makes you have a naturally durable and strong body, and it can be done most everyday. These kind of movements are how humans got strong from the dawn of time.
After fixing everyone's knees, can you fix everyone's hips and shoulders too please if possible? Popping hip sound, possible labrum tear in the shoulder....
When you guys do leg day and you're going forward and backward, or even just pulling backwards on upper body days, how many meters? I'm pushing and pulling at my gym but I don't ever know how far to go. Usually about 750 to 1,000 ft.
So I just started going to a hill backwards. How long should I go for? Just walking up backwards has my heart rate as if I'm jogging so I went up and down backwards for 45 min... Is that too much?
I’m using a Matrix treadmill at my gym, which is basically a motorless treadmill. It mimics sled pushing, sled pulling, and parachute running. I’m just trying to figure out a protocol. 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off for 10 minutes is what I do now. Love the videos.
Obviously idk Mark's set up, but every sled I've ever pulled is on artificial grass type stuff. Carpet is too low friction when it gets worn down. Go for a strip of turf and best of luck with the gym
Hey I hurt my back recently I went to the chiropractor they said my hips are miss aligned they are readjusting me so there anything I can do to help correct while I'm recieving treatment and any work I can do for a good workout
Due to knee pain had to stop running, cardio and heavy lifting. Started this last week, my hamstring still hurts. I am doing this instead of cardio and warm up what sort of weight should we use ?
I started doing sled work and I love the way it feels but now I'm having problems with my knee,is it because I'm pushing and pulling everytime I do it,or maybe be to much weight? I only sled with 45lns on maybe 65 lbs but no higher, and ingo 15 minutes non stop and it's onem9f the best workouts of my life, but my knee just sounds horrendous and I do jiu jitsu so I'm kinda freaked out right now,my knee doesn't hurt but it sounds like I'm w One wrong step away from a bad injury, please any advice?
General advice is that crepitus (popping/crackling sounds in joint) isn't something you should worry about in isolation as long as the joint feels fine otherwise. But if it does feel weak, painful or unstable then something is going on. I'd either reduce the time or weight. Start at a weight where after about 1-2 minutes your knee feels stable with no pain and then work up to higher weights always maintaining low to no level of pain. 15 minutes straights also sounds a bit too long. I do 5 min straight. After a warm up of maybe 1-2 minutes with lighter weight. Aside from that general advice. I'd get it checked out by and athletic or physiotherapist
I'll start taking my shirt off during sledding backwards. I will scare some people, but who cares what they think ill be on better shape lol thanks guy's.
I dont have a gym membership or room in my basement for sledding and I don't have 1,000 for one of those sled things on wheels. But I wish I could do these somehow
Simple going backwards in general is great you don’t need crazy equipment, if you can find a hill that works as well or go to a track and go back and forth walking/jogging backwards on the track
Find a treadmill and go on it backwards dead stop….can’t go heavy weight of course but treadmill resistance is enough and burn feels good especially after a leg day*
I really like the collaborative working going one between these two programs making both better. Positivity makes for motivation thanks for sharing!

I did this, unbelievable how effective this is
It all shows how intelligent and pragmatic Louie was.
Thabks for the content , Mark.
Nothing gets my quads burning like backwards sled pulls.
Saludos !!!…. desde Culiacán Sinaloa México .. gracias por esa motivación que nos envían
Love the content I'm spreading the word to everyone about you guys. You are changing lives appreciate everything you upload. Keep up the great work.
You’ve made it when you have a 25,000 sq ft warehouse with everything a commercial gym has, and more. I love yalls work
Also, he provides the gym for free for everyone

I just bought a manual treadmill... Works really well! And I can go backward without being worry to break the machine! Found a used one for 150$
Just showed my partner this clip of momma ATG and she is so inspired by this video! Thank you and congrats on the new addition, very cute!
Absolutely loving these exercises! Love the collab with Super Training Gym and Kneesovertoesguy! =)

Yes I want fresh knees mines are starting to give out from the lack of never working out just walking around and cleaning around the house all day lol

Awesome stuff guys! I recently just started doing single arm scap retracted sled pull, it also hits your core depending on the weight used
So cool seeing these guys together 🤟

I have a steep driveway so I just walk backwards up my driveway. As I get stronger I will put on weighted vest.
Love this stuff... Where can I buy the pulling handle straps and the belt to pull the sled back... I want to buy both. Thanks in advance
hey bro, can you guys do a video of how you attach your straps to the sled please. I'm in a low budget gym and there's not much equipment / attachments about. Would really love to get a reply brother.. :) G.
So cool to see the teamwork.
Bro...this is an amazing crew! Each one is different but they all work together. No matter what body type you are they have something going on.
This knee guy has some sick abs
When will the be available again for purchase? Would love to have them at my gym.
Excellent video
a well fit dip belt and some chain/ straps as an alternate for giving the upper body a break. do both.
I love this but I don't have a sled, only free weights and bands - would a cable "step back" and "step forward" work?

Any idea when these handles will be back in stock? I would love to order them from you but have been sold out for a while.
They said on that one site that you can use both hands and grab Dis for an even better result

@@CyborgNinja442 Awesome. I need to find something cheap to drag through the soccer field behind my house
Again thanks for this content helping out others mark 👍💯
Real world application is pulling a pallet jack around
I typically do the sled pull with a belt. Is using the handles an added benefit? Any drawback with pulling using handles?
I drag logs out of the forest, and tarps full of debris for the same kind of exercise. Bonus is, I actually get some work done too.
Where can I buy those orange straps?!
I introduced my wife to the backward sled. She's a convert!
Louis Simmons at Westside told us to sled decades ago

Where can I find the straps for sled pulling
I just had a right shoulder labrum repair anyone think it be ok to do the backwards sled pull with a belt ???
Try doing it tip toeing the pump i get in my calves is insane
Where can I get a sled machine like that?
How much are they pulling? Is it just 45lbs or 2x45lbs plates?
how to set the weight? by body weight? or go heavy as possible?
What’s the equivalent for elbows?
How far do you pull for how many reps?
do these sleds build muscle?? i did like 10 rounds of sleds this week and by the end of the night i could barely walk
looks so good for the knees! thanks for posting this one !! longevity for our joints 👏👏
Is there a big preference to pulling with those straps instead of the vertical bars that sleds come with?
I wish I could figure out better options for sledding indoors with limited floor space.
Use bands with door anchor or find solid area to attach bands to.
I like this simple machine..and I want one like it
Where can I get that fucking band to pull the sled with can’t find it anywhere!!!

Gunna go do some (after stairmaster)
What sled do you prefer?
does any one know the alternative workout for this, cause I don't have a sled mechine
walk backwards uphill
I've been unknowingly doing this when pulling the lawn mower backwards.
Thanks bros ❤️🌹🤛
Great!
Is that mark or is that david hasslehoff?
Is walking backward up a hill similar to pulling sleds?
I dont have a gym or a sled...
Thats a good alternative too just be careful up hills if you’re in grass not to misstep while going up
If you have bands use them anchored to solid area or use a door anchor or attached to dumbbells or weighted bar.
I'll start taking my shirt off during sledding backwards. I will scare some people, but who cares what they think ill be on better shape lol thanks guy's.
How can I get similar workout at home
Try using bands, either with a door anchor or find solid area to anchor bands to.
Anyone got any tips on volume?
How many sets with length a day/weekly basis is a healthy strong amount?
As much as you want honestly
How 'bouts a pic of the sled....?
Good show
The is almost the equivalent to bodyweight uphill backward running. Love this exercise.

You could use bands, anchored to fixed spot on a wall, door or floor. Just go back and forward. I'm going to try it myself too.
