Jace you're doing great man you're out there helping your dad stop worrying about what people's judgments are in the comments, you're doing what you should be doing helping family
Jace I think you have the capability of picking up right where your Dad leaves off. When that ever happens..You have a screen presence that can’t be faked, bought or learned… it’s God given… enjoy that gift. And keep getting yer mug in front of that camera. It’s good for the channel! And You! And if you are worried about what some haters (envious people) might say, find the humor in it, and of course there’s alway a measure of truth to what they say. So be ready to learn from those comments.. but never take them to heart…. Those people don’t have a clue as to what it takes to do your job. And with your God given screen presence that you possess…. You are truly one lucky individual… keep up the good work.. and learn for that Dad of yours … he’s a keeper too! Great channel Paul and Michelle you guys have continued to evolve and produce my favorite channel… that and Sam the Cooking guy! You guys ever thiught about doing Hotdog Friday’s? 😂

I'm proud of the family for helping you with the Jeep build. I'd love to drive it when you get it finished. You are making it useful, not just a crazy build. Hopefully, you aren't showing down your healing by overdoing it. You have the best followers sending you the coolest things. I wish you a speedy recovery.
Paul. Mr you are a real Beast out there with a broken Arm working on your Jeep like no big deal you have some of the best Sons I have ever seen. Your Family is the greatest. God Bless you all.
Jace is really becoming an asset helping Paul with his broken wing and all. The important thing is he's learning every time he's around his Dad! Good video and progress moving forward on the Willy.
Glad to see that bulky cast off paul! Keep up the good work. And your Sema rig is a " full build " unlike a lot of sema guys who had the motor built by this guy and the axles done by this guy and, oh, this other guy did the paint. Not fab rats, not fab rats!
Paul & Jace - Here's a pro tip...Ditch the blue masking tape and use aluminum foil. Just squeeze it around tubular components and save yourself a bunch of time.
That unnamed part is the dryer. Every time you replace a part in your AC system that needs to be replaced too. It is full of desiccant and once it is full of moisture it stops working and moisture damages the system.
I'd give the 'hood ornament' a magnetic base and use it as a maintenance reminder. Just put it on the hood of the vehicle that needs the most maintenance! Tho putting it on Landons is a good idea too, at the back, staring at him while he's driving!!
Hey Paul, that "Unknown part name" is actually referred to by 2 different names depending on whom you're talking to. It's known as an "accumulator" or a "filter/dryer". In my years of serving as a Parts Manager in a couple of GM dealerships, that was one of the first things I had to learn. The Service Manager called it an accumulator, and the mechanics typically called it a filter/dryer. Once I figured out these were the same item, my job got a little easier. BTW, the GM parts catalog called it an accumulator.
Cool build,,,I ran a battery side mount like that in an old truck I rebuilt, after a bit, the plastic started to crack at the base,, I ran a support strap over the top, to take the pressure off the bottom. I really enjoy all the videos,
That's why I bought a 21" nutzert tool. It makes putting aluminum ones in like butter. Steel are even fairly easy. Pretty sure that's a receiver-dryer.
The Willy's is looking good fellas. Good job with the paint Jace. You guys got some absolute gems in the mail this week (probably last week but whatever). Id imagine you guys are taking it easy today, enjoy it you deserve it. Catch y'all Wednesday.
The a/c part you don’t know the name is a dryer. It’s like an oil filter. It filters the moisture out of the a/c system. You know you put the system into a vacuum for 45 minutes. To boil the moisture out of the system. The dryer traps any moisture that maybe or get in the system.
The willys overland is looking awesome, can't wait to see it done and beating everyone on that onx build, the a/c part is called a/c dryer, keep doing what you guys do and God bless you and your family
Awesome job Paul looks like you got that pretty all wrapped up. Can’t wait to hear it run have a blessed day and I hope your arm heals up really quick. Thanks for the content.😊
If you put in a Trans Cooler the same size as the AC Cooler, It will drop the Trans Temp down about 40 Plus Degrees and helps it shift better... at least on my Chevy 2500 HD Pick Up it did. You Do Amazing Work... Really! Just throwing in some thoughts.
In my Jace is doing really well as a painter and i like how he has stepped up since Landon is at college. If I remember right Michelle said driving in the derby was a bad idea. Seems she was right on that one
Het Paul, concerned about all the heat makers you have attached to the front of the Willys. A/C condensor-200-degrees , trans cooler - 180 degrees , radiator- 180 degrees.
My spider sense is telling me that opt-red top needs a extra brace. With the terrain it will be in, it might break the bottom off. Or o could be wrong 🤷 just a friendly suggestion. Glad your working so well with one arm man that's impressive 👍 thanks for all the wonderful content 🇺🇲
Believe that unknown part name is receiver dryer. At least I think that’s what GM calls them. Keep up the great work Paul love watching your videos keep plugging and chugging. 😎🔥😊🔥👨🏭
Paul Remember the old 1960 truck the guy who drove around selling Donuts you should build one of those trucks for off road for grandma walley and your wife they not do any crazy stuff build they could sell soft drinks and snacks I like the project you and Chad been working on

Time for a round of “name that part”, with Paul!
Im an ex a/c guy but I believe that was the accumulator/ dryer with a sight glass .
@@davestevens4263not being a smart a$$ but what does it do? Checking to see if I guessed right.

Jayce did a fine job of painting around all of that stuff!

I noticed the big red N on Jace's hat, and just wanted to say "Hello" from NEBRASKA.
The *Pack Rat* is coming along very nicely, fantastic job, Paul!
Keep up with the good work Paul and team love watching your videos on UA-cam God bless
SEMA going to love it, it's so authentic

The Willy's build is up there with the FJ, Towtruck and the Nugget as your most interesting work. A classic.
The Willys is coming together quite nicely , can’t wait to see it in action. Thanks for the update.

That A/C part is called a dryer. Great show guys.
Jace love the Nebraska hat!!
Paul & Jace - Here's a pro tip...Ditch the blue masking tape and use aluminum foil. Just squeeze it around tubular components and save yourself a bunch of time.
Dude thanks
It doesn't really matter I use either one
You gonna pay for it? LMAO.
Michael! Remember that a/c part for "Can you name that part "
Why do you keep calling the 55 a 65?

Chrysler called it a receiver dryer if memory serves me right.
Willys did not have a specific name for that particular part, they called their entire a/c system window/vent 😊
Always Enjoy Mail Time.😎👍
"Unkown part" it's called a receiver dryer.
Also known as an Accumulator?
@@rrnabors1 I was waiting for Michelle to come in and tell us.

@@auldman that would have been a lot of fun because Paul wouldn't have been able to tell her if she was right or wrong!
good morning everyone.
Nothing reminds me more to leave a like on the video than some cat clips.
Paul, the black cylinder is called a receiver with a sight glass. It’s located on the high side of the refrigerant circuit.
Early morning Fab Rats video! Let’s go!
That A/C part is called the receiver dryer or receiver dehydrator.
It's nice seeing Paul in less of a cast and more of a brace, it shows the healing process of his arm is coming along well.
it's an accumulator or receiver/dryer depending on the manufacturer
Cool build,,,I ran a battery side mount like that in an old truck I rebuilt, after a bit, the plastic started to crack at the base,, I ran a support strap over the top, to take the pressure off the bottom. I really enjoy all the videos,

Paul's new arm brace is exactly the same one I had to wear when I broke a bone in my wrist. Real Hi tech stuff, pretty cool !!

Awesome job Paul looks like you got that pretty all wrapped up. Can’t wait to hear it run have a blessed day and I hope your arm heals up really quick. Thanks for the content.😊
I feel your pain with having to make several runs to the store.
especially while plumbing...
50 years from now people will see a vehicle you saved from rusting away into history. Well done.
That Rat hood ornament with the wrench is freaking awesome. That should be seen in the shop. Put that bad boy where it can be seen on camera.
There needs to be a weekly pool on what color Paul's cast will be!
Cast is off. That's a brace he's wearing now.
Looking good. Can't believe y'all got it done so fast, with everything else going on.

Filter/dryer?
Paul, are you gonna make a skid for the fuel tank?If not, I see the tank getting smaller, or, maybe even ripped open! Be prepared for everything!
Paul I agree with Nicman 1977 its a receiver dryer.
You can tighten a bolt in the nut inserts to flair them out.
