Antenox so True! he s so original...! cars passion suddenly fuses with... our passion for life. Because at the end we are all passioned about life... zen or at high speed. yin yang.
This is what separates you channel from so many other. This was not just a car review, it was storytime. Informative. Entertaining. Educational. Keep up the great work guys 🙌🏼
I dont usually comment on videos, but this was fantastic. Top notch.. Great job. Different is good and you guys aced this one. Congrats on a job well done. Brilliant.
“The Home Run” is aptly named. You guys nailed it! Beautiful music, beautiful videography, beautiful effects, beautiful editing, an articulate, well-spoken, proper journalist that can drive, a well-written story, and a beautiful automobile to top it all off. Thank you for your hard work and passion Carfection!
Wow. now THAT was some of the finest automotive video journalism i've seen in... well... almost forever. Bravo! I'd say the treatment, storytelling and scenery virtually upstaged the car, but i'm not complaining! That was utterly brilliant.
This video was absolutely brilliant. The passion and the history makes this one of the best car reviews I've ever watch... It proves that a car review isn't always about horsepower or dynamics of a car, it's the emotion that the car gives the driver.
This video is, far and away, the most breathtaking example of automotive videography I've ever seen. Henry is phenomenally captivating yet subtly informative; and those aerial shots of the sweeping tarmac nestled in the Scottish hills sent chills down my spine. I've never commented on a UA-cam video before but this one is certainly worth the effort to say the least. If you ever offered a paid subscription service with this sort of content I'd subscribe instantly. Keep up the exceptional work!
As a current Mclaren 570GT owner, i find myself watching tons of Mclaren videos and stumbled upon this one. It literally gave me goosebumps. You guys did a fantastic job on this episode. Please please do more of these vids!!!!
There is nothing more satisfying then seeing a modern performance car off-road... More like this please! Also, the production quality of this video honestly boggles the mind. Well done.
I love following your journey on my AA road atlas. Been to the highlands several times now. Simply the greatest roads. Thanks for all your videos and I will make point of this route on my next trip. 👍🏼👌🏼👏🏼
Never quite liked McLaren... Never had i ever got emotional by watching a car review.. But this video changed everything.. Lots of Love Team Carfection.. You just set a new benchmark..
Wow. Such a great story, and journey. You forget it's a video about a car and just enjoy the cinematic nature of the piece. At the same time, i as if I were on that road, driving that car enjoying the open vistas and the feeling of isolation. You guys at Carfection kill it.
This video is an ode to driving and brings back so many memories. Discovering new places, heading clear across the country in the dead of night, finding the sort of peace that only comes from a sojourn with your automotive best friend. . . Thank you.
I must have seen this film 5 or 6 times now and every time it shows up on UA-cam, I think "yes, this is really good". And enjoy it all over again. It is an 8 minute masterpiece.
Gave me chills watching this. Emotional drives and journeys that have a sense of real meaning, occasion, history and theatre, that's why we love cars! Outstanding Henry, outstanding.
The first weekend I passed my driving test me and my friend jumped into my mk2 golf 1.6 driver and spent 2 days driving around the trossachs. Brought back some memories that video. :) thanks
Spectacular. Incredible videography. The journey unfolds as the majestic countryside fills the canvas and the McLaren paints it's brushstrokes on the tarmac. Listening to Henry describe what he is experiencing transports me there. You are talented gents. Keep up the tremendous work lads.
Phenomenal storytelling. Great car, great journey, great emotion, great visuals. Felt like we were on the ride. Congratulations on a job well done! Looking forward to more.
One of the best UA-cam auto reviews I have ever seen. I guess there’s only so many ways you can film/review a car and that’s why so many videos lack imagination and creativity. This certainly doesn’t lack either.
I needed a few moments to gather my thoughts after watching this film. Henry, you are a Master Storyteller. The captivating way that you wrote in EVO, shines through in these videos, and non more so than this one. I've always wanted to visit Scotland, and now, I absolutely cannot wait for that adventure to come. Thank you.
this show is amazing! I've been binge watching since i found it.. the drone footage is great. and he's always ado proper about everything.. need this on tv in the U.S.
Oh my god, this is utterly brilliant! Purpose meets perfection! If there was an award for best automotive documentary or best piece of automotive journalism or whatever, this right here would get my vote!
Henry Catchpole is a terrific auto-journalist/personality in this age of video. Brilliant little film featuring a gorgeous machine. Subscribed to Carfection thanks to Henry, looking forward to any car video featuring this young journalist.
This is a magnificent piece of film making-and the twist to the story made it that much more meaningful. Congrats to you and thank you for sharing it with us.
i had goosebumbp during the entire last minuet. that was not only gorgeous, it was mesmerizing. the script, camera work, editing, music. best video i've yet to see on youtube
Fantastic! Looks like I'll be heading upto Scotland again when i get the chance. Just as I did after watching your trip along the Old Military rd in the N430. Thank you.
probably the best car video I've ever watched. amazing videography, amazing journalism, amazing roads, side stories and amazing as a whole. thanks for telling us enough detail so I could follow along on google maps
Really top quality of this genre of automotive journalism with a sense of adventure, history, and geographic context, with what feels like an academic-level execution. Cheers all!
Watched this video myself 3 times now and plan on doing a road trip based around it in the near future, 106k views (at time of writing) doesn’t do it justice. It really is one of the best car related videos iv seen on UA-cam 👏🏻 well done
With Henry its never only about the car, he always takes his time to bring the viewer/reader closer to both the car and the location where its being filmed, making it a much more enjoyable experience. Still remember that fantastic review he did for DT on Audi RS3 in Oman. Combine that with some fantastic production and you get 9minutes of pure pleasure. Well done! :)
I'm fucking clapping right now. WELL DONE guys.
This. This is why I love Henry's videos, no matter who he works for. "Classy" and "Zen" are the two words I'd use to describe them.
Antenox so True! he s so original...! cars passion suddenly fuses with... our passion for life. Because at the end we are all passioned about life... zen or at high speed. yin yang.
Masterpiece

Talk about production! Ace job
Here in 2020 after viewing Henry's "How we made our favourite films"
Gotta say he is correct, very nicely done !
Still the benchmark for automotive journalism videos even 2 years later imo.
Utterly brilliant! Perfect.
EDIT: Nice car btw! 😉👌
This is what separates you channel from so many other. This was not just a car review, it was storytime. Informative. Entertaining. Educational. Keep up the great work guys 🙌🏼
Absolutely brilliant video. Beautifully shot and narrated.

Well done for this production, pure perfection indeed!!!
Everything about this video is top notch. Everything.

Even a year on, this has to be one og of the Best film you guys have ever made.
Impeccable cinematography.
There is nothing more satisfying then seeing a modern performance car off-road...
More like this please!
Also, the production quality of this video honestly boggles the mind. Well done.
Awesome story. You guys need to start filming some movies on the side, hehe.
I love following your journey on my AA road atlas.
Been to the highlands several times now. Simply the greatest roads.
Thanks for all your videos and I will make point of this route on my next trip. 👍🏼👌🏼👏🏼
Fabulous video, great writing, wonderful car. And Mr. Catchpole, the most insouciant of the current crop of motoring journalists.
This film sent a shiver down my spine, never have I wanted to be 'there' so much when watching a car review.
Great video Henry, take the long way home. Adam,Tofino CA
Channel now seems more like drivetribe then drivetribe which is a good thing drivetribe was great when it started not as good now this is excellent
Allen Saunders Henry left for carfection and jethro for motor trend. There is no content at all at drivetribe right now.
Allen Saunders never seen that channel before
Daniel Alexander check it out has some great stuff especially early on
Pretty disappointing what happened to drivetribe. It's just Car Throttle 2 now, with just a bit less shitposting.
You were saying...? Haha DT just put up a video with both of them.
Just not enough ways to express how good this film is! Exquisite and stunning in every way.
One of the best pieces of motoring filmmaking I have ever seen. Stunning in every way!
Really enjoyed that Henry , i am born and raised at the foot of the Campsie hills , walked, cycled and driven the Crow road many many times , thanks .
Fantastic bit of filmmaking. You guys are on a roll at the moment, absolute top drawer.
Never quite liked McLaren...
Never had i ever got emotional by watching a car review..
But this video changed everything..
Lots of Love Team Carfection..
You just set a new benchmark..
Such an amazing video. The cinematography is as beautiful as the landscape and the car.
Wow. Such a great story, and journey. You forget it's a video about a car and just enjoy the cinematic nature of the piece. At the same time, i as if I were on that road, driving that car enjoying the open vistas and the feeling of isolation. You guys at Carfection kill it.
What an incredible video. I’d actually call it a film. The fact that this is free to watch for anyone is amazing. Thank you!
This video should have been twice as long, absolutely awesome! Keep it up, guys.
Absolutely fantastic! This is how a video with Catchpole should look like.
This is probably my fav’ carfection video. The story, the cinematography, the presentation. Absolutely sublime.
I've driven that road many a time and this film does it justice. Well done.
Production taken to next level .. well done guys 👌🏻👍🏻
Great job guys! What a fantastic piece of automotive film making. Perfect balance between automotive journalism and storytelling.
Gave me chills watching this. Emotional drives and journeys that have a sense of real meaning, occasion, history and theatre, that's why we love cars! Outstanding Henry, outstanding.
It couldn't be more perfect than this , it really is a Home Run, hats off to everyone involved in this production.
Make a movie out of this! This was amazing in every single way possible. Bravo Carfection, bravo!
I've watched many car reviews. None of them have ever put a shiver up my spine. This one did though.
Pure emotion, history, and respect. Thank you.
Romance, Love, and Drama are all in here. I was literally crying towards the end. Carfection, just above and beyond!!
This video sums up exactly why I love driving. Its all about the journey. Wonderful.
Wow. Still have goosebumps. Despite the bit inflated melodrama about the significance of anything manmade, you guys are artists.
I got FRIGGING CHILLS from this video, or should I say short film. Astounding job from all the team!
Just wonderful! These ‘favourite road’ videos in print would make a superb book Henry!
Keep up the tremendous work lads.
just from watching motor trend review an aventador. Jesus!! The difference in quality between the two channels is night and day. good job carfection
What a production, cinematography at it’s finest. Never have I ever felt so deeply connected to a car review. This is next level guys. Keep it up.
I would pay to see another video like that. Like I would feel compelled to pay. That was brilliant.
Amazing! Been up there in a few cars when younger, the road is crazy sometimes! You get lost in it, superb!
Phenomenal. Thoroughly enjoyable video and production. Great work everyone!
This was beautiful.
It goes without saying, the cinematography you guys pull off is always incredible. But the writing and narrative for this video just incredible
Amazing job, spectacular production! This is on another level, hopefully you will mantain it for next videos. Congratulations!
Phenomenal storytelling. Great car, great journey, great emotion, great visuals. Felt like we were on the ride. Congratulations on a job well done! Looking forward to more.
Bravo, Henry! Bravo, Carfection!
Possibly one of the best yet. Taking a car, its brand and its name back to it ancestry and roots. Truly a masterpiece with the production.
Such a great little film, not a review, not a car or travel piece, but a narrative of your journey. Keep up the great work!
One of the best UA-cam auto reviews I have ever seen. I guess there’s only so many ways you can film/review a car and that’s why so many videos lack imagination and creativity. This certainly doesn’t lack either.
the way you're able to tell a story with these cars is the reason i watch them! spot on
Fantastic story. This is how you elevate automotive journalism.
I needed a few moments to gather my thoughts after watching this film. Henry, you are a Master Storyteller. Absolutely fantastic, Mr. Catchpole and Carfection! Great scenery, great car, and you are rocking a nice watch yet again!
One of the best pieces of automotive journalism I have ever seen.

Your cinematography is on ANOTHER level! Words fall short. Could easily be mistaken for watching a film rather than an 8 minute UA-cam video! 😍👏
Came here from the 720S Track Pack video. Very much worth the trip, I'd say. Breathtaking cinematography, meaningful destination.
Likewise id already watched this back in 2017 but was still worth another watch :)
This is a magnificent piece of film making-and the twist to the story made it that much more meaningful. Congrats to you and thank you for sharing it with us.
Now that is how you make a great video - great presenter, great car, roads and scenery. Brilliant and thank you for sharing.
i had goosebumbp during the entire last minuet. that was not only gorgeous, it was mesmerizing. the script, camera work, editing, music. best video i've yet to see on youtube

What an amazing video.. A Grand Tour...
Really top quality of this genre of automotive journalism with a sense of adventure, history, and geographic context, with what feels like an academic-level execution. Cheers all!
This is epic!! My favourite Carfection video for now. Felt nostalgic about my drive through Scotland a few years ago on watching this.
Just keep coming back to this, just brilliant 👍👍
Thank you Henry for always telling a story with your reviews. You capture the aspects of driving that most car reviews overlook. Great filmmaking
Watched this video myself 3 times now and plan on doing a road trip based around it in the near future, 106k views (at time of writing) doesn’t do it justice. It really is one of the best car related videos iv seen on UA-cam 👏🏻 well done
What a stunning piece of film. Thank you, and well done.
I agree about both Scotland and road trips. Can’t wait to go back there again next year on a long trip and I’ll try to get to these roads.
Well done! :)
Just to keep it short and simple: epic video.
Makes me wanna visit Scotland again, love Edinburgh and the people.
The quality of the old videos were very good already, but these new changes are absolutely brilliant!
Absolutely amazing work of art. This brought joy to my heart and soul :) THANK YOU!!!
Absolutely excellent film. This is the essence of what Carfection is (in my opinion). Keep up the great work!
