Love that drive - used to drive it back in the 80's with my brother - can be quite crazy especially if there is still some snow around. I had an old dodge power wagon - and it was a bit large for that road :). Excellent drone footage - really love that perspective - well done! you got a new subscriber :)

This was August 2022…that road will be blocked for a while…check out the video of the time we had to rescue someone on this road!

I just bought my Jeep gladiator I just put 33 tires.
Were going up in September can I make it to laurel lake

Thanks, and yes, you absolutely can make it. The time I wrecked my tire I was going to fast on a smooth part of the road and then hit a bunch of boulders. My buddy was up there once and cut his tire on a sharp rock, if you’re careful and have a spare you’ll be fine.

I just took Laurel Lakes on the dirt bike and couldn’t get around the snow at the top in mid July! Never seen snow this late.

To be honest, you never know until you go, as much rain as we’ve been having things change but yes, as far as I know, it is not washed out like it was a couple years ago
