I live on Wilson Lake which is part of the Tennessee River. I watch the Loopers go by every day this time of year. It is a dream of mine to do The Great loop. What an adventure! Have fun, and I'll keep an eye out for your boat next year.😁 My boys and I met a bunch Loopers several years ago at the marina at Joe Wheeler State Park. I had never even heard of the Great Loop before then, and I have lived almost my whole life here.
How fun that you live on part of the Tennessee River. If all goes as planned we will be floating by a year from now and will wave! Thanks so much for following along on our looping adventure!
Found a 48 and fell in love with it. Also found a 42 and fell deeper in love. Hit all of the boxes but it’s way up north and as you know we’re way down south. Our kids are gone away and so are our pets and can’t wait to get on the loop. It will come in due time . Thanks. D.
It will happen!!!
No more taped fingers. Yeah!
Finally!!! Thanks for noticing :)
Navigators are kind of plain Jane in appearance but solidly built. Tons of lounging space, inside access to bridge, very open and airy main floor. A lot to like.
It’s a solid option John and with some nice interior design changes it could be a great Loop home.
As a Remodeling Contractor I once ha a customer insist on black toilets & sinks. At the time I thought she was CRAaaaZY! But they really worked well and after going back to the house for parties/ visits they really look great as good as white. Nice boat but you have looked at better fits than this Navigator!
Great to know about the black toilets! Thanks for sharing.
The curb your looking for is called a bulwark. love your vids. You should check out the new Absolute 48 coupe unless you must have a fly bridge.
BULWARK! Thank you for that nugget of knowledge. We will go check out the Absolute 48 right now.
Yes!
I’ve been following your search with great interest! We pulled the trigger today on a Greenline 48 Coupe. We fell in love with it. It does not have a fly bridge, but it tics most every other box for us.
No way!!! Congratulations! Where are you cruising?
@@TheBoomershines we will start in the Keys and Florida’s west coats. Later this year, dry Tortugas. Then back up the east coast
@@allanstraughan1393 See you on the seas!!!!
If you haven't looked yet, you might check out the (formerly Gulfstar) Viking 55 Motor Yacht. It looks like a great layout with 4 staterooms, huge master, and very rare flybridge up a stairway instead of a ladder. I think Viking built these '87 & '88 and they show an awesome galley and engine room. The wide-body models have a particularly spacious salon. They have less outdoor lounge space than others but the stairway to the huge flybridge deck seems to make up for it.
We love the Viking 55’s. We reviewed one on Episode 9 of VBS!
Doesn't look like the radar arch is designed to fold so that may be an issue in addition to the lack of a running track.
We were wondering about the arch too. It is hard to tell if it has a hinge or not.
Boat was listed for $399,000 several months ago.
great intel. Thank you!
I can see Cousin Eddie sitting in that helm chair
No doubt! I think a Stidd helm chair would shippify it a bit.
Ok I know you’ve said many times your going to paint so how does that work at anchor? Omg this could be a great video series all in its self 😂 can’t wait!
I’ll tell you when I start. Ha! Actually once at anchor I’m hoping on calm nights things will not be any different than in my dirt studio. I also will be painting at marinas where it will be much calmer. Keep in mind the canvas and myself are both moving together relative to each other. So really no effect on brush placement or strokes. Stay tuned!
@@TheBoomershines very interesting I’d love to see how it’s done!
I’m guessing you’ve never had a black toilet. They are the worst, they always look dirty. Just light colored rings instead. Ripped it out after a year. No Bueno!
Never had one. NEVER want one. They creep me out LOL. Cinda
UA-cam The O'kelly's is wife related to the lady in O'kelly's they look alike
Are you guys going to FLBS
We are definitely thinking about it. Think we should go?
@@TheBoomershines I will be there :) I think its worth going for sure.
Was that a painting of Bob Marley?
Yes! You like?!
@@TheBoomershines I just got a glance, but I have always admired Bob Marley.
