    Thanks. I simply needed to know how to remove the light switch. A detent button, who would have guessed. I am now chasing very corroded grounds on my 1983 CJ5. Losing a lot of voltage (current) in these ground connections. Dash lights are very dim but Luckly I have the headlights and turn signals. Thanks again. You saved me a lot of frustration on a simple item for a newbie.

      @@vikingwind25 I’m glad I could help. A ton of older cars all the way into the 80’s use that same style switch and it’s always a detent to release the knob. Sometimes they are rusted or corroded in place which makes it real fun 😀

      The new one connected to my wifi, I mean my wife brought the new one in from the mailbox
