I can't stop listening to this marvellous, beautiful, uplifting and moving work of pure genius. One of the great choral works of all time and, sung and played with fantastic🎉 enthusiasm by the superb River tree group. Music of epic proportions
This has to be one of the most epic of experiences. It was such an honor to be part of this endeavor! It was a challenge in many ways, but everyone made it look easy! Thanks to Dan for writing such compelling music for us as musicians to academically strive for but spiritually to exalt our God with! I loved every minute of this journey and am thrilled that others get to experience the nations and creation praising our God!
Nikki, your solos were so wonderful. I absolutely got chills during Bendecid su nombre. We're preparing Jubilate Deo with the Festival Singers of Florida, and that movement has to be my favorite. You really did it justice!
Nicole Folkert Thank you so much for those encouraging words. Bendecid is my favorite movement! It is just exquisitely written and the solo is so fun to sing! Hope all goes well for your concert! If I could, I would escape the cold and come!
I believe I wouldn’t be able so sing this, not because it is too difficult, but I would be so swept away by its beauty, I wouldn’t be able so utter a sound.

In America 2020, where there has been much tension in discussions on race, the ancient Psalm lifts us beyond individual people groups to "all the earth". No matter your nationality, tribal identity, or ethnic group, it is possible to enter His gates and into His courts. Thank you. We make a joyful shout to YHWH.
Except that "all the earth" doesn't share your views about religion, so it's hardly a thing to unite us all. It divides us more than it unites. But people of all religions, or even none at all, can unite in appreciating the art and joy of a wonderful piece of music such as this one.

Faço questão de deixar um comentário em português. Essa Beleza toda me arrebatou. E por ser essa emoção universal, é justo que se evidencie a todos seu alcance a todos os povos... a todos os puros de coração que viram Deus sorrir ao ouvir essa... enormidade!...
Beautiful beyond words ❤

I love Dan's version of Nearer my God to thee.
Is Dan Forrest protestant ?

So beautiful... I always appreciate the soloists you choose who add so much both in their voices and expression to the whole work!
Experienced the performance of this on April 12 at Missouri Baptist University. It was an incredibly moving, spiritual experience for both of us. Delighted to find a recording of it.
Attended the Tallahassee Community Chorus performance of this magnificent work last month. Blown away by it. This performance captivates, too.
I'm in a highschool choir doing this for our Masterwork. 10/10 would sing again
What high school? Would it be NWSA?
This was so awesome it was the first time I was in the proformance and every time I sang my legs itched.
