I always thought Nen and stands are less like magic but more like psychic abilities, using the mind body and soul to manifest seemingly supernatural abilities, but could very well have a scientific explanation to it
@@aceclover758 I think it's unlikely he will never be able to be a nen user again though, what pitou said was just a prediction. Characters are wrong constantly in hxh, it was also said god wouldn't be able to heal from that state then nanika came along but if the manga stopped before that everyone would say he wouldn't ever be able to walk again and so on.
What Pitou said had to do with that moment when he made the contract. If Gon wasn’t gonna die, he did give up his Nen. He wasnt gonna get that huge power up without a huge cost. Gon is also not the only main character. Everyone has aura, Gon just reverted back to the way he was (before learning Nen) and Ging said he should be happy that despite the heavy contract Gon made, getting away with it and only just reverting back to stage 1 before learning Nen is a blessing itself. This explanation of Nen is very concise, however, dont let it distract you from the fact that Hisoka's Bungee Gum possesses the qualities of both rubber and gum
Nen truly is a terrifying power. I've seen lots of different types of powers turn people into various monsters. But this kind of power forced Gons body to age to it's absolute peak of power.
Is it actually its peak? I've only watched the dub, and the puppet kid said he only aged himself up to an age where he could beat him. I took that to mean Gon still has some upper mobility in terms of power. Or at least, mobility in skill. After all, the only thing more dangerous than a soldier, is an old soldier.
@@aaronself2411 I like to think of what happened to gon as what genkai from yuyuhakusho can do just in reverse. Genkai can turn her body back to when it was at it's strongest. In her case it was in her 20's. Gon did the opposite, he forced his body to age to his strongest point which was more than likely in his later thirties. He could go higher but the toll would probably kill him.
@@aaronself2411 I doubt it. Gon-San was him sacrificing all of his potential talent, life, (everything) he had to become that powerful. When Killua talked about Gon reaching that state through training, it was just a guess. He meant that he would have to train like Netero did. But instead of training for 2 years like that, he'd have to train for 20 or 30. Which is practically impossible for anyone to try and do. Despite her power, we do not know the limitations: Like if CAmilla’s body was destroyed beyond repair (incinerated or reduced to mincemeat), can she still come back? Any limbs or body parts destroyed or torn off, can she heal them? (Like if sh was bisected or limbs torn off) If one were to step away from the body and not approach her body, will the ability still be nullified at a certain range?

I was actually wondering about this ability/form Gon took, and you've just answered my question. Much appreciated, Spooky.
IS THERE A REASON why the Ants have ZERO Transmuters and FIVE Specialists?!?
Or is that just, as i assume, an Epic-Fail of Togashi-kun?

what i always found terrifying about adult gon in terms of nen restrictions is that he got all that power, became one of if not the strongest nen user(s) on the planet, *and survived* .
imagine how much power gon would have gotten if he gave the restriction of immediately dying afterwards.

nen is one of the most unique magic systems I've seen along with Stands
Fr
I always thought Nen and stands are less like magic but more like psychic abilities, using the mind body and soul to manifest seemingly supernatural abilities, but could very well have a scientific explanation to it
Never really got to appreciate nen restrictions and how strong it can make your nen abilities, this vid helped alot keep up the good work!
Gon still has aura, he just cant see it, it's like before met wing
Hysterical a stand user?
@@thedefiant8743 yes he's a stand user lmao
Everyone has Aura since it is life energy
Gon just isnt a Nen user anymore
But Ging also implies Gon may not be able to reawaken his Nen again unless he comes up with a new goal.
As of now, Gon’s adventure is finished.
So can we all agree Hisoka would not survive the release of Big Daddy Gon

Also, the actual manga never said that "he was as strong as the King". It said, "his fangs might reach the king", meaning that she felt Gon had become a potential threat to the King.

Actually, he probably unconsciously gave up his bond with Killua and was full of rage (since Nen is all about the psychology of characters).

the vows and limitations system in nen is dope. you actually have to think about what limitations will be worth obtaining the power you want, because if you dont, the nen ability you get might end up as something that holds you back or makes you weaker like kastro or cheetu. the limitations you set for yourself have to be something you UNIQUELY are good to tackle so that they don't hold you back, like kilua and his lightning nen, netero with his budha palm, or kurapika with his chain jail.
Man oh man Spooky, 3rd Video in a row! I've been waiting for a good HunterXHunter channel for a while now! Gon and Killua are my boi's and no one ever gives them any love

Super saiyan Gon 😂😂😂
If gon ever gets nen back, I hope he'll make some cool ability other than that janken shit
For me jajanken is one of the most creative concept of using nen ability for an enhancer. What I like about this ability is it's unpredictable. It can confuse enemy. Just like what happen when gon fight that centipede chimera ant. If gon can master this jajanken, It'll be very powerful.

I wasn't ready for that yeet 🤣😅😂 4:52
what if someone kills himself after killing camilla
will she ressurect?
Probably not. Which is going to be the actual thing that kills her for good. It's the one flaw of her power
There are several ways to counter her counter type ability. But Benjamin had the best one when he just threw her in a cell.
Despite her power, we do not know the limitations:
Like if CAmilla’s body was destroyed beyond repair (incinerated or reduced to mincemeat), can she still come back?
Any limbs or body parts destroyed or torn off, can she heal them? (Like if sh was bisected or limbs torn off)
If one were to step away from the body and not approach her body, will the ability still be nullified at a certain range?
@Rob G, the best tactic is just not attacking her. Benjamin did just that.
LOL I like how he added the “YEET” 🤣

2:41 we all know that kurapika aimed the phantom troup. But his condition is "only spiders" not "only phantom troop" that means further in the story he could maybe face something related to spiders.
i hope Togashi getting healthy very quickly to finish this masterpiece series
So your telling me if Gon set a bigger restriction he could make a half big bang with every punch.....
There is no bigger restriction. Hi said to his nen to "use everything he has"
@@The_Aleph_Null he can adjust this power, tho he did definitely use all his power in his last latest battle. In his normal attacks he uses a certain amount of adjusted nen
I doubt it. He low-key sold his soul after he used da restriction. Now if he was initially stronger, that may be a dif story.
What bigger restriction could he have set? Only thing he could've done more is the final blast vegeta does against buu where he blows up his own body, there would be no coming back from a restriction of blow me up.
Lava Forevah yeah he could have did a similar restriction to kurapika he would have been stronger . He made a restriction that he becomes strong enough to beat pitou not all his powers . So he could have made a restriction like “after i finish the fight i die “ something like that he would have grown up maybe 10 years later and becomes even stronger.
That's two characters that have used the postmortem Nen power boost to revive themselves. I know anime where the characters bamboozle each other, but I don't think I've ever seen one where they bamboozle _the actual power system._
I wonder if the "nen after death" get's stronger when you sacrifice a longer lifespan
