Prayers up for Togashi to get well 🙏 Man has created some iconic characters, and not just from 1 series, but 2! And Kurama is 1 of his greatest. Lowkey always had felt bad that he is not recognized as a more prominent plant based fighter.
To be fair, his uniform is NOT pink. It's magenta!! That's not pink. Also, Kurama is not the strongest physically, but he is always 5 steps ahead of his opponent and his hair is a nest of all sorts of seeds and plants that are just waiting to be manipulated into a deadly weapon There is a reason why Hiei says he chose Kurama as his partner, to avoid fighting him himself. Moral of the story: Always stay on Kurama's good side

That's what I'm about to request. Kuwabara is my favourite character in Yu Yu Hakusho. He's the normal human among the other but with high spiritual energy 😂😂
Kurama became my favorite character since the first time I heard Hiei say the only reason he wanted Kurama on his team was because he didn't want to have to fight him.
Yoko kurama is really 1,000 years old. And he supposedly be an deity. However the creator didn't wont kurama to have all the spotlight and be over powerful. Since he was already got very popular during the show. So the creator alter kurama origin like 2 or 3 times. Just like the stories never stated kurama to know the two kings . But he did know both king's in fact he was apart of their team at one point. Anyways kurama is a very interesting character that his origin should've show up more. Having a dark past living his life through chaos & shadows at tye time of the Demon Realm/ World was know as to be like Hell. It was know to be as the Japanese version of hell. Having one ruler perhaps it was Satan or Devil. The pure hatred and evil amongst all the Demons Race. But the creator didn't want to be the same as Devilman origin stories. WOW! I must say, as a fan since I was a young teen--(now early 30's) this is one of the best video's I've seen on Kurama EVER!! I actually learned something in it! So thank you~ :O I never got the manga in hand much, so those votes of popularity were something I never heard of!! Even thought I wasn't surprised to hear that Kurama vs. Karasu was the most popular lol! That's pretty clear in FanFic haven. Also, I have ALWAYS thought that Kurama is potentially the strongest character of the show behind Yusuke. The show depicts Yusuke as the strongest, but knowing Kurama I always knew he could beat him. So to me, he's always been thee strongest character. He has it all to be. LOVED this video! Well done! And he's been my favorite from day one of getting to know him. I've never been able to get over this one character--even after moving on from so many anime's and other amazing characters. Kurama has always stayed. He truly is the best!
I'm 30 too and Kurama still lives rent-free in my head after all these years lol ! There will never be a character quite as good as him for me. I think Togashi must have women figured out to a tee because he somehow created the most desirable male character to ever grace anime/ manga, from a female perspective (although I do know Kurama's fans are not only female). He's the perfect gentleman, intelligent, mature, sweet without losing an ounce of masculinity (he's strong, of course, but also gotta love that merciless side of him when when he needs to protect someone dear to him or when someone steps on his nerves hehe).
@@Aino171 yes yes yes to all!!! I have yet to find a character to top him!! 👹🫶🏼💕 And he’s so masculine but wonderfully confident in himself, and his own beautiful. Insane! Togashi did insanely well-I totally agree with you!! 🌸🌺💕

People usually mistook Kurama for a girl because of his beauty. This happens more often than he like and in the manga he almost got into a fight because of this.
This anime is one of the few that I reallt enjoyed watching in the English dubs during the golden age of the 1990's and early 2000's. Every Kurama fight in the Dark Tournament is my fave. Scariest is VS Gourmet/Elder Toguro. Most entertaining fight is the battle of wits between him and Kaito with his power of taboo. It was well translated/localized to English.
I think that is Kurama at his most frighteningly angry. Killing Gamemaster really was messing with his head, and he was NOT going to waste time playing games with either Gormet or Elder Toguro, as is seen by him planting the seed of the Sinning Tree in Gormet's body when he removed the top of his head. Every other fight he had given other a fairly square deal, but deals were off the table by that point.

Kurama is my favorite character in the show! I'm pretty sure he's the reason I tend to gravitate towards "the smart guy" in the group. As for is he the strongest, at some point probably, by the end I think that Yusuke is stronger, Hiei might be about even with him? It's kinda hard to tell since Kurama/Yoko is more tactical and has a larger tool set then Hiei, who tends to be more straight forward with his powers and combat style.

My opinion is that Kurama is a transgender female as noted in the last episode with the teenage girls who admit this, and when Yoko as male. Kurama turned his/her back on that persona of being "male", not wanting to revert to that version of self as a transition of personality throughout the story intentionally. I believe Kurama was always in love with Heie and flirts with Kurabara distantly, though accepts his Hiei's new loving relationship with Mukuro sadly. If you understand the dialogue inflection of the Japanese version, it's fairly apparent, then just right up-front on the last 10 minutes of the series. I lived in Japan for many years at the time of showing and being transgender was fairly unacceptable and taboo. Kurama knows sadly that there will be obvious romantic rejection to that choice, but is happy to be accepted at least, as a friend. I've seen this happen a lot in the '90s in Japan with real people as well.
I do get confused at times if there is a split personality or if they’re supposed to be the same person, because you and Kurama are both smart. And kurama knows everything you knows. He knows yoku’s past and his friends. But when he switches to yoku, yoku talks as if he is separate from kurama. So it seems the share the same consciousness. Idk off togashi got got confused
Your comment about #10 Kurama being the strongest is not true. Yusuke is easily a planetary threat. Sensui said that 20% of his power was enough to shake the entire earth
Everyone's hakusho husbando including mine even though Hiei is my favourite also Spooks TotallyNotMark is reviewing YYH rn on his channel and it's been awesome so far he's got up to Dark Tournament so far
Does that really make him the strongest, though, or does it make him efficient? If he couldn't use the pollen, would he still be able to do it in a day? That's less strength and more about his weapon(s) of choice

Kurama is literally my rap persona because of yu yu's kurama.... his love for his mother is what made him ny favorite
super informative, love content like this
I love this character even I knew already these points(except Two Shots)
Great vid. 👍🏾
Your comment about #10 Kurama being the strongest is not true. Yusuke is easily a planetary threat. Sensui said that 20% of his power was enough to shake the entire earth
Kurama was actually 15 in the start of the story sorry but need to point that out
Everyone's hakusho husbando including mine even though Hiei is my favourite also Spooks TotallyNotMark is reviewing YYH rn on his channel and it's been awesome so far he's got up to Dark Tournament so far
Hei told us Kuruma was the strongest
i still wish we got to see more of yoko kurama, its by far the coolest transformation in all of anime!
Wake up babe, daddy posted a 10 facts video. 🖤
I would like to start about the color of his hair. With perhaps the exception the first few 'cover' pages, EVERYTHING IS IN BLACK AND WHITE!!!!!
Kurama is my favorite character in the series I use to cosplay as him before.
He's my favorite
So... TECHNICALLY.... Kurama could be behind the whole plot of Shymalan's "The Happening"... XD
It would be cool to see a video on Genkai
Omg I love live action tv show 😂❤ yusuke looks exactly the same character 😂❤
I love Dennis !!!
I love the bleach background music
Kuramas yoko form is extremely unexpected when we first saw him.
Does that really make him the strongest, though, or does it make him efficient? If he couldn't use the pollen, would he still be able to do it in a day? That's less strength and more about his weapon(s) of choice
