@@OgpBosnia Actually, as per latest chapter in manga, it was explained that all humans have already a innate affinity towards a Nen type. So yeah, all humans "can" tap into Nen (given that they are given the opportunity to learn it).
In both Netero and Bisky's cases, it's not Manipulation that they are using, but Conjuration, as the constructs the are summoning are not existing objects but conjured ones. So in Bisky's case as a Transmutter she is actually using a much closer Nen type to her own, which is why her ability is so effective. Otherwise, for a Transmutter, Manipulation would be the absolute worst Nen type to choose an ability to create with since it's completely opposite to theirs. If the Buddha was an already existing object that Netero would use Nen on, then it would've been Manipulation. Same with Bisky's power.
can u only create one ability after unlocking nen? like are u locked into that? like for example can kurapika like change his ability from making chains to making swords or something?
@@hungry_khid1007yes you can create new abilities, a lot of characters actually use multiple of them, like gentru little flower and countdown. As for kurapika, we learn that conjuration training requires a lot of practice and image training. Theorithically he could learn to conjure swords or other things but its just not worth the training when he can create a new chain related ability more easily.
@hungry_khid1007 for the most part nen abilities are constructed from scratch by the user. So if your good enough, you can create multiple hatsu's. A recent case is Hanzo who implied he has at least 4.
Bro, I rolled my eyes whenever he started saying if you haven’t known he soak his bungee gum, has the same properties as rubber and gum. He literally says this every fight.

Nen and spirit energy are my favorites because of design, but I like the complexity of nen because I do see the balance, hard to make a system that good.
12:57 it was shown that when nanika healed gon that there was a massive amount of nen being used plus other nen users could sense it although to my knowledge alluka herself can’t use nen just the entity that lives within her
I think Alluka managed to be a perfect host for nanika because she unconsciously is a specialisation that allow nanika to display her power with a sort of control
@ it’s possible although it might not be likely because of her hair colour being black which is a constant trait of being a natural manipulator in their family line because all with black hair except her have been said to be manipulators (her mother and all 3 other black haired siblings) so it’s assumed she’s a manipulator by many
the Nen that was released when Nanika healed Gon was actually GON'S aura, not Nanika's. Basically, Nanika released Gon from his subconscious vow ("I don't care if this is the end, so I'll use everything"), which saved his life while also expelling all the Nen he generated through the vow. Note how the visual design of the Nen outburst is nearly identical to the Nen outbursts from Gon's previous rage moments
@smug_baboon None of them have been stated to be part of allukas family but I do know that Chrollo is a specialist, that Feitan is a transmuter and Shizuku is a Conjurer so I doubt the black hair manipulator trait extends beyond the family line
I think it be so cool if kuepika could conjure warriors from his peoples scarlet eyes. Giving another tool to fight with when it’s not a spider he fighting
My guy...okay I can get that specialization is something you are either born into or not, but there are ways to get to the specialization naturally. In most cases, you HAVE to be either be born into conjuration or manipulation in order to have any hopes of having a specialization ability, but it's been shown that manipulators and conjurers have the best shot at sliding into specialization. The 2 biggest examples that are staring you in the face are Kurapika with the use of the scarlet eyes and alluka when under the possession of nanika (though you can make the argument that it is unknown whether alluka was born into conjuration or manipulation, but my point still stands).
Yeah HxH even stated manipulators and conjurors are placed closest to specialists because even if they aren't born specialists they have the highest chance vs other affinities to become one at some point in their lives (though this is still a very small chance). Also in the recent chapters we learn specialists actually have 100% affinity for all categories - so that part in the video is also incorrect.
Never thought about it but it's interesting that conjugation is farthest from emission ik ppl can still overlap their apposing types to an extent, just not nearly as efficient as related types But yeah since emmision is just detaching said nen from the user and conjurers can create separate entities from their nen I assume that it's just using the basic principle of emmision to "separate" a user's creation so that it can exist without their presence or even conscious thought
@smug_baboon I think any category can be parasitic though. Parasitic nen is just nen that attaches to and feeds off the aura of someone else. It's described as curse like abilities, but as we see within the nenbeasts it can kinda be a blessing too, allowing normal people to use very advanced nen abilities without training.
12:26 is Pakunoda not a textbook manipulator? Her ability is manipulating her target’s brain - whether it’s to gather information or when sending it information through a bullet (I know Togashi released information about characters and more about the 6 types - I guess I just always assumed for her because it felt pretty straightforward)
Ahhhh you show the graphic just a bit later. I love this power system and how it works - I guess I just constantly overthink how certain abilities should be categorized? 😅 As another example, I’ve always thought of Ikalgo as a manipulator as well. His abilities let him manipulate corpses and his own body (ex: he turns parts of it into bullets). What part of controlling a corpse is enhancer OR emitter? 😅 Morel’s ability makes sense as manipulator for sure - but how much does it lean on emitter (to create the nen core for each puppet) and does it lean on Conjuration at all? While not really important, I’d also argue he doesn’t really have the personality of a manipulator either, lol
Like you asked at the end about nen types i honestly know which one i fit into like i am somewhat like a lot of them in many ways but my closest matches would probs be manipulator and conjuration, but most likely since i dont really "fit" either sterotype id end up a specialist due to my nonconformity to any

Sad that you missed hisokas personality analysis for the specialist and the legendary knives that still have his aura in it. IDK if that's considered post mortem or not
9:33 any one can actually do this, it's not exclusive to Manipulators (Wing, for example, opened Killua and Gon's aura nodes in the same way, and he isnt a manipulator)
the thing about netero's ability imo is that the reason he can foray outside his affinity so well is bevause he is old as fuck, so has had more time than anyone to study those categories and implement them to his hatsu. everyone else simply hasnt had time to go that deep studying nen.
Because he's an enhancer as well, he has a better balance over the multiple affinities required for his hatsu over somebody who was a manipulator. Who would be good at manipulation but not so much for transmutation or conjuration. Whereas Netero would be better all round.
It's that, but also the restrictive vows he uses to magnify the potency of what would otherwise be weaker affinities - example: bypassing what would normally be sluggish manipulation on the bodhisattva's movements as an enhancer by tapping into the prayer-motion restriction - that is, he has to physically gesture a unique prayer to evoke a specific movement. The combination of his massive aura, experience, intelligence, and just sheer knowledge of how nen actually *works* granted him a singularly devastating hatsu for any scenario requiring direct combat.
Since Togashi added the personality spectrum to work alongside the power type system, I'd say a lot of people would have double affinity, since most people are rarely single emotional beings. I myself would be a mix of Enhancement and Emission, cause I see Leorio's temperament as something as close as my one psyche.
Togashi also explained that it’s as unreliable as deducing your personality by your blood type (or in western term by your zodiac sign) the very moment Hisoka used it on Gon.
So based on the personalities of nen users and the properties of their abilities, I guess I'm probably a transmuter. Though what's a bit confusing is that I find the manipulator's personality to also match me well😂
Are there any passable Nen-type tests on the Internet? I found a few, but all of them lack substance so far-like questions that are giveaways or do not make sense.

Correction: APR is probably an emission based beast, as it's invisible to non nen users.
4:09 HE SAID THE LINE!!!!!!!
Explained really well
Gon's scissors attack is a transmutation right?
So based on the personalities of nen users and the properties of their abilities, I guess I'm probably a transmuter.
Though what's a bit confusing is that I find the manipulator's personality to also match me well😂
But did you know that Bungee gum has the property of both a rubber and a gum?
HEy guys! If you didn't catch, Hisoka's Bungee Gum has the same properties as rubber and gum!
Are there any passable Nen-type tests on the Internet? I found a few, but all of them lack substance so far-like questions that are giveaways or do not make sense.
Transmutation which I kinda expected ngl
Best power system ever
Enhancer
Wasnt it stated that bisksys transformation happened over time and wasnt part of a nen ability
specialization is a cop out for togashi to write stand power when he feels like it
Facts😭☠️
I think for me it the primary will be enhancement and transmission as secondary and very rarely emission
bro, you forget to mention basic skill of nen like Ren, Ten, Hatsu, and another one.
It's a Nen Type video, not a technique explanation video
I clicked for post-mortem
What a shame the manga ended and all we have now is a Kurapika led spinoff with endless monologues
Emitter, always have and likely always will
i might be a specialist or manipulator.
If i had nen, my power would be to become super small, and if you step on me i die
I honestly don’t know what kind of nen I would specialize in
is prince kacho nen beast considered post-mortem nen?
9:50 what is killua on?
lol
Killua from temu 💀
🤣🤣🤣
for enchancing irl will be great and also emitter if ur a hunter i think the others wont be much of a use irl
