hi, new to your channel. I had that same heater in my 9320, finally replaced it with a deluxe heater with dash controls after the core let go. love the yellow gmc, 9310 is a shortbox half ton, the 9320 is a longbox half ton. 4 headlights are my favorite. i have a 9320 wideside, i also have 2 spare hoods for the 59
Damn here in where I am from we wouldn't even start to rebuild that truck with all the rust on it we would pull the 20 parts off it that are worth keeping and scrap the rest
Good vid. I have a chassis swapped 59 GMC 9320. Wish I had Jeff's 58 to pillage...lol. Hole above the windshield may have been for a dealer accessory speaker for the radio. Peep mirror is an era correct dealer item and somewhat hard to come by. Canadian GMCs were basically rebranded chevys (emblems, grill, dash, tailgate changed). American GMCs are different under the hood most noticeable by a completely different rad support. 58 was the last year for bumper bullets. Stepsides offered in 3 lengths; short, mid-length (often referred to as a long box), and 9 foot actual long box.
@@josecurbelo2476 oh wow. Probably pretty clean too then. I’m up in northern Canada. Bit of a drive for me, someone will snatch it up. These things are hot right now. Good luck with the sale!
@@tombrenes2411 that’s a good question, I’m not really well versed in these trucks nor are there any equal comparable trucks in my area. Some people think I paid too much, others think I got a deal. I suppose I’ll know better as I build it. As far as “what’s it worth?” Not sure, but I paid $2500 Canadian (1800 USD) and I think that’s pretty close to its actual value in my eyes. What are your thoughts?
I'm glad to see that l am not the the only one that collects many Chevy trucks and see's the potential in every one of them.
Guilty as charged lol
That looks like a cool project! Thanks for all the insight Jeff!
I've got two 56 cabs one half ton big window and the other 3/4 Ton small window.
Not a lot of big back window trucks in these parts

Can’t imagine it would see much use here as it’s only a summer truck but yeah, not convenient controls

Welcome to northern Canada lol. This is a VERY good start to a project for us
The hole above the window shield is where a speaker went.
That’s what I suspected. Thanks for confirming that for me Bob! Appreciated
Great video! Keep up the good content!

Yes sir, it's 98.5 % rust free. Looks pretty cool in the barn/garage area. It would be ashame to wash it😅
Thanks, Mr Shortcut ❤
Anything for my #1 Fan
They cut out radiator support because of lazyness to pull engine out.
Agreed 100 percent
So if the truck was yours as is
I wanted to buy it
What price would you put on it
It is mine. I don’t really want to sell it. I just made a large parts order for it.
@@shortcutgarage I’m trying to figure a value on it, only (not trying to buy it)
