- I install the 1957 GMC cab on a 1977 C10 frame using E-Z Chassis Swap's bracket kit. The old cab mounts are removed along with a bunch of rivets in the frame. This is a great kit and saves lots of time.

You the man. I bought same kit for my 57 to a 79 4x4 half ton. Im happy I found this.
Yo man….would love to see that 4x4!
This is the proper way to add modern front suspension on these trucks.
I say that because a friend is hacking his up now to put a camaro subfram under it.
I've watched these swaps and I'm baffled why you would want a weakened frame under your truck.
I found two rolling frames for under 1000.00 dollars for him.
This swap adds modern front and rear suspension with much stronger , easier frame shortening.
I’ve done the same for my 59 Apache. Ed is a wonderful man, helpful, and has excellent customer skills!
Thx 4 sharing, looks like a class 1A mounting kit Sir Walter.
Great mounts 😊
Yes they are!
His truck not mine and he does like a project.
Continued in next post.
Just move the axle forward 3 inches! I’ve already done this!
What would you recommend for my Chevy 3100 5window chassis swap to have 4x4 every day driver pull utility trailer, thank you for your time.
If it’s a 55-59 I would go with a square body chevy like I did or a 2000 up Tahoe is popular to. E-z Chassis swap has kits for both.
That kit saved a lot of time for mounting the cab, great job, where is the kit available?

@@wallysworkin823what is the price of the kit, roughly?
I'm debating on tackling this project.
Now that I see you can either use an overhead gantry with a chain falls setup or a cherry picker to move the cab and box around (different video), it really got me interested.
The kit would make the process smoother. I have buddies with cnc plasma cutting beds, and cnc programming skills, but would be an extra hassle.
@@jakefriesenjake I When I bought it a couple years ago It was right at or a little over $1000. The gantry is a life saver, found it used for a few hundred dollars.
@@wallysworkin823 nice. Thanks for the reply. Now I must get my wife on board with this project 😂😂
She says that she doesn't want to roll around in an old krusty milk truck. Ha ha ha ha. I guess she doesn't have a fine taste in trucks.
Hello, I am with the same project, I live in Argentina, where could I order that kit?
Ebay? Amazon?
The kit comes from E-Z Chassis Swap.com
How much was it?
At the time, over a year ago the kit was $1100 if I remember correctly
