- SWGoH gameplay of Hermit Yoda. I am now definately suggesting people to farm him, this team is crazy with Admiral Ackbar and Commander Luke Skywalker.

it doesn't matter. By the time i get all these characters, they will probably not be meta anymore.

Not a big problem but you make a mistake when you make thrawn do his fracture when he had ackbars buff. So he goes again straight away which ends the fracture instantly.
Dyeshan it did remove Luke's accumulated turn meter tho

Joseph Drummond by doing so he called the only other rebel on the team to assist, who just happens to be the strongest character in the game with arguably the best basic in the game, and who had the Master's Training buff.
He used it to make luce assist
Luke doesn't assist from fracture, and if you mean he assists from ackbar doing his buff then he still didn't have to use thrawns fracture afterwards
Why is old, frail hermit yoda so much better than grand master yoda??? Emphasis on "Grand master". Shouldn't he be like the best Jedi in the game? And they should really buff his leader ability, the grand master of the Jedi should have a good, if not the best leader ability. Plz buff grand master yoda!

It's because the game has changed over time since they added GMY (grand master yoda), the new characters that are added in are suppose to counter the old ones who have been taking over the game. And since the long time that GMY has been in the game there have been many added characters to counter him. He just isn't that great in the game anymore, and since hermit yoda is one of the newest characters added in the game he has a great move set and is very useful in the game. He is very good in the new teams like under an Akbar lead with commander Luke or raid Han. GMY good in the game anymore

I wonder if Nihlus would be better than Thrawn possibly. You wouldn't get as many assists but controlling the cool downs might make the team completely unstoppable. Would love to hear feedback on the idea
Nihilus' Drain Force triggers retaliation from CLS lead teams, and even a tanky Nihilus dies quickly when CLS+zHan/Leia are counterattacking regularly.

How about Ackbar leading CLS, R2, BB-8 and Hermit Yoda? Make BB-8 then R2 fastest with their 16% TM boost, Covert Data Transfer and Smokescreen (not screening BB-8 to encourage his counter/Foresight), then Hermit Yoda's first use of Master's Training is on BB-8, which calls both BB-8 and R2 for a nearly guaranteed stun. It also takes advantage of the AI's otherwise stupid use of Covert Data Transfer when the whole team already has Secret Intel.
Ok..so a team that makes luke go all the time..im in an old shard and run jedi...very excited about HY..now i see that its just going to be the 4 best heroes in game plus yoda..how fun
I dont think getting yoda now will be worth it for anyone. Its better to just save up for character shards or gear 12 stuff

ya and you will only get 1 week notice so have fun trying to farm him in 1 week. it would be wise to farm yoda and ignore everything else for now.
Cuz Jedi Luke will appear in 2 months, yeah right. We will first see CLS at least 1 or 2 more times. Jedi Luke won't be coming for at least an year, and that's being optimistic.

Vadoom 335 OMG I didn't even think of that but you are totally right. Crap. Well there goes Jedi Luke for me... Apparently the only way to get Jedi Luke will be in a guild with mostly whales ... lovely.
What about the pure Jedi team of Qui-Gon lead, Hermit Yoda, Ahsoka Tano, Ezra Bridger, JK Anakin? It has so much synergy by having two Jedi that can assist and you can ask Yoda to assist if you want healing and Ezra early in the match could call either Qui Gon or Yoda to assist to get support buff of enhanced turn gauge and later call on Either Ahsoka or Anakin for 100% crit plus Quigon's basic attack might steal speed from opponent. If any character gets below 50% health then Anakin goes crazy and gives you the option to attack whole team if you want. Ahsoka can't be crit against for the first 2 rounds. If anyone with Master's training dies then both Yoda and Anakin get instant turns and Yoda resets cooldowns. This team on paper looks amazing.

This was an awesome video, and would of never guessed this combo and its synergy. I hope you make more videos like this in the future with crazy and niche combos that nobody would ever think of. Also as a suggestions, when you try these awesome combos, do one battle on Auto so we can see how the AI will react on defense, thanks. As far as the ROLO vid goes, you should do a full Hoth team. (Rolo, Hoth HS, CLS, Hoth Rebel Scout and Hoth Rebel Solider)

Dear MobileGamer - when you have time will you try a zero-lock with Hermit Yoda? We are not sure if the game will let him in to Pit or AAT as a solo player since he wafts away when there are no other squad mates with him. He would be the safest zero-lock!

This reminds me of the number of assists that a zPhasma zFOST team has, except it's much more OP than the First Order team

I told you about the new Akbar lead a while ago. I was saying. Akbar Lead, Ezra, Updated Leia, Plus who ever... It was sometimes 6x attacks.. Its the same concept you are using for this video. Since they have upgraded the Rebels, now abilities like Akbar's have become viable again.
I feel like Raid Han and Ezra would be amazing in this team
The whole point of this particular team is to minimize the number of rebels in the team so that only CLS can assist on AA's turn and it's 50/50 on yoda's turn.
android2301 i agree because ezras assist is technically not an attack. So it calls an ally to attack, ezra attacks, and another rebel attacks

As much as I love fracture and the tm swapping, I would toss Thrawn out for BB8. He provides so many free attacks under Ackbar, plus those swarms after illumated destiny are insane. Team is also awesome with Leia, Ezra, or raid Han if you're one of those folks that didn't get a chance to obtain CLS.

Poor Man's, Yoda. Use Chirpa. Speed up and calls for assists. Speed up stacks with Ackbar lead.

This team looks so fun. I don't think I'll be able to get Yoda for a while though because my guild is only getting around 20-25 stars in the territory battles.

Sup man I'm originally from ohemgee now mc3...I feel this is currently best yoda team...however GK lead with zarris, Ezra, and aayla is a lot of fun as well...finally got my hermit yoda to g11 yesterday and re did all my mods he's amazing
Hi MobilGamer, I enjoyed watching your video very much, very funny. I am a fellow theorycrafter to your theory tester and was wondering if First Order Officer would work in place of Thrawn. For a few reasons: First because he contributes to Ackbars leadership with his non attack special. Second, because he can control almost exactly the same as Thrawn by granting 100 tm to another player with marching orders, granting 10% tm to all players with pinning shot, and also removing 50% tm all while being exceptionally fast @ 145 speed.
Also, I was wondering how a GK (L), EE, Zariss, Ashoka, Hermit team would fare. That's a whole lot of bum rushes! And EE rather than say a Lumi or a Counselor, because you need a toon that can revive when you run into a nihilus team.
What if you used Ezra's assist on Hermit Yoda with an Ackbar lead? That way you have Ezra attack, Hermit Yoda triggers a heal, then calls another rebel (either CLS, Raid Han, or PL) with a chance for multiple attacks.
Are we seriously calling Leia ROLO? That's hilarious!
If you use ezra you can attack 2 times with CLS and 1-2 times with ezra in just one turn

Try this team: Ackbar lead, CLS, Hermit Yoda, Bodhi and Bistan... the wombo if done right is insane
this team is really easy to farm. its not like it composes of 4 legendary characters

Thrawn is great but replacing with Ezra would mean he could get a lot of attacks in being a rebel as well.
You want to limit number of rebels on the team, so CLS gets the most attacks in.

I've been farming this team since I first saw this video 2 months ago. I'm getting close but still need CHS to put the icing on the cake. Can't wait to see how OP it is. Had to go HAM on HY spending all my TB currency but I think it will be worth. Only GL12 char so far is Thrawn so I'm paying for it in the mean time.
For the record, I didn't have any of these toons besides Ackbar when I started the farm. Took 2 months to get Thrawn, GK to 7 stars, HY. Still no CHS though =(
What about if you subbed R2 for Thrawn? It'd certainly take some of Luke's attacks, but it'd still stun on each attack while boosting stats with Number Crunch.
An even better team would be if they made a hermit Yoda like C3P0, where he doesn't attack and his leader is like ackbar lead for droids. Then add in zeta bb8 and jtr, plus more support characters like hermit Yoda and thrawn, and Rey will be attacking nonstop. Overtime thrawn uses grand admiral's command or C3P0 or hermit Yoda use a non-attack ability, bb8 will come in and so will Rey. WHERE'S C3P0!!!
Just like i thought when i hit you and Ahnald up on Discord that Hermit Yoda would be pretty bad for the game. This combo is sick AF tho.

This convinced me to farm hermit Yoda... however I really think that Grand Master Yoda should be better since he's a GRAND MASTER. Hoping for a grand master Yoda rework and a possible Jedi rework in the future

Hmmm how about using Han Solo instead of Thrawn? Right now you have a 50% chance of a hard-hitting rebel assist (weak: Ackbar 50%, hard: CLS 50%), but if you have Han Solo, that chance will go up to 66%. Plus, you have an extra character that assists even if they fracture your CLS.
You won't get thrawn's fracture, but Han will be able to Stun a few times, which is somewhat similar (not as good I admit).
Ummm, I said Han Solo which means Raid Han, not ST Han. So that would mean 33% CLS, 33% Raid Han, 33% Ackbar, which means that it has 66% chance of using hard hitters (CLS + Raid Han). I never mentioned ST Han or Captain Han.
Fred Paik CLS shovels out turn meter so the more he goes the better. But it's worth a try
Who would be a good replacement for General Kenobi? He's the only character that I don't have on this team.
I still think he's gonna work better under Qui Gon with other Jedi. Jedi will be faster with foresight and extra tm gain from Hermit Yoda ss basic but we'll see.
Pretty sure a Zinn res team with zeta r2 would be untouchable against them?? The expose turn meter and ability cool down is far better (my opinion). Could u give it a go?

Honestly, I love him now but I'm still gonna spend my guild event tokens on g11 gear, I mean you can get like 12 stun cuffs and so much more gear that's incredibly hard to get

This could happen. The only good news is that Hermit Yoda should be playable at low gear and low star levels.
Agreed. It's just a long and expensive grind. So it's good that he's viable at low gear/star levels.

Definitely use Ezra because his assist attack doesn't count as an attack so if you bring in hermit yoda, Ezra will attack, heel get an assist from Ackbar's leadership, and yoda's basic will call in another assist for a QUADRUPLE ATTACK WHAT THE FUCK
I've never watched Rebels so I had no idea who Ezra even was when Phoenix came out but I can safely say he's my favorite toon in the game. I use him everywhere. Just got him to G12 so his survivability went up too.

Brennan Krason but no buff immunity, stuns, defense down or any other debuffs. Plus his one attack is close to her 3 attacks damage wise. Stupid to swap him out for her.
Brennan Krason CLS is better but if you dont have him leia is a great replacement since she is F2P

Have you tried using Bohdi Rook with this instead of Gen kenobi or BB8

Yes, but more interesting if that trigger Ackbar or CLS
yeah he is for sure great but to farm him now is kinda useless. you will set yourself behind every arena team because u dont have any gear 12 parts and to get to gear 12 will take u longer. and the next point is you need about 39k of this tokens and an average guild will earn per TB only about 3k what means you need to make 13 TB to get him. i dont think so its worth for the average or good teams only for the whales in the best teams. i hope they will reduce later the amount of tokens needed for him.
If we put Raid Han(Zeta) into the team, for those of us who don't have CLS. How well would it work?

I do what CG has to do now to bring balance into this game. Dark side is so far behind, and team composition comes down to just using premium chars. Empire, rebel, who cares.. just throw in OP chars and go to top 10 and solo raid with one toon. Great.
